4 Cycle definitions
FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE RULES:
KEEP THE INTAKE VENTS ON THE MODULE CLEAR. DO NOT PACK TOO FULL.
MAKE SURE YOUR ITEMS ARE DRY. WET FIBERS DO NOT ALLOW AIR FLOW.
QUICK –Use this cycle when leaving the gym or your game and your items are not dry.
This will inhibit bacterial growth on your items.
LIGHT –Use this cycle to refresh a single item.
NORMAL –Use this cycle to refresh multiple items.
HEAVY –Use this cycle for hard to freshen items.
Once you run several cycles you will get a feel for which works best for you. We all stink
differently, don’t we?
5 Maintenance
Changing filter cartridge –remove old cartridge and see the orientation. Place new
cartridge in properly to ensure fitment.
Cleaning the grid –if you get dirt, mud, etc. onto the grid and need to wipe it down or
wash it please remove the module first, then remove the grid. You can take apart grid to
clean inside as well. The grid is detergent and water safe.
Cleaning the module –DO NOT GET THE MODULE WET. It contains high power
electronics. You can use any surface wipe to clean the exterior of the module.
Keep in mind, these items are the most germ & odor free components in your home!

6 Safety features
NOVO™duffel has been designed to keep you safe during use.
DO NOT use the device if the bag is open. Always ensure all zippers and pockets are
closed prior to start.
Follow all instructions on the smartphone app. It will ask you if the bag has been
closed and if you are ready to start. Select yes to begin your chosen cycle once the
bag is closed and you are ready to start.
NEVER open the bag during operation. The app clearly states DO NOT OPEN during a
cycle run until it is READY TO OPEN at the COMPLETE stage.
If you need to end a cycle early, press STOP in the app or hit the button twice in a
row. The bag will skip ahead to the finishing stage to wrap up the cycle. DO NOT
OPEN the bag until the cycle is complete and the app says READY TO OPEN. The
module light will be flashing green.
The NOVO™duffel uses airlock zippers that seal the bag during operation. It is very
important that these zippers are all closed prior to starting a cycle. If the main
compartment or pocket zippers are damaged, DO NOT use your NOVO™duffel.
Contact our customer service team for support.
The NOVO™duffel uses a durable outer material that is tear and weatherproof. If for
any reason your bag has a cut or hole in it that is leaking out air, DO NOT continue
using your NOVO. Contact our customer service team for support.
7 Traveling with your NOVO
The NOVO™duffel is TSA compliant and is designed to fit in the overhead compartment
of most major airlines. However, since the module has a large, long lasting battery, and
contains electronics, you will need to remove it from the pocket and have it scanned
separately. Just like your laptop.
