Islander Gazebo Assembly Instructions
Please read and understand the complete instructions prior to assembly and use of your
gazebo. Customer agrees to hold Dundalk LeisureCraft Inc. and any of its authorized
dealers free of liability for improper installation, maintenance and repair of this product.

Base Wall Assembly:
The Base is marked TOP to indicate which side should be up. Stand it in this manner and align the solid wood corner base to it so
the two tops are even. Fasten with 2½” screws through the pre-drilled holes.
Set the pre-assembled door unit in place, positioned so that it allows access to the tub’s mechanical components. Fasten to the
corners with 2½” screws through pre-drilled holes.
Centre the window walls on top of the base and fasten to the door assembly with the triangular corner blocks in place. Fasten all
with 2½” screws up through the base into the window panels.
Two arced corner blocks are provided to fit into the space left where the door meets the corner base. Set these in place and fasten
with 2½” screws through the pre-drilled holes.
Using four 2½” screws, install corner windows by fastening with 2 screws down form the top and 2 screws up from the bottom.
Set 2 prefab walls up onto supports and at adjoining corner affix corner blocks as shown.

Square up gazebo on supports. Using 2½” screws, fasten up through corbel,
into wall base.
Using four 2½” screws, install corner windows by fastening two down from the
top and two up from the bottom as indicated by the pre-drilled holes.

Door Unit Assembly:
Get all parts for door unit and lay them out on a flat surface so that the track is at the top and facing up . Fixed doors go at either end
and have a 2”x3” added to the sides for fastening to corner unit.
Set the door unit flush with centre spacer (on top heatder) … Fig. A
Fasten down through top and up through the bottom. Use 2½“ screws and fit into pre-drilled holes.
* Note: The top rail is longer than the bottom rail in order to accommodate the corner window.
Set both slider doors onto track and into groove at the bottom. Fig. B
Set the second fixed door into place and fasten. Use 2½“ screws and fit into pre-drilled holes. (Fig. C)
Set these assemble door units aside and proceed to wall panel assembly.

Header Assembly:
Headers are marked left and right. These attach to the roof panels prior to installation as indicated by photos below. Fasten with
2½“ screws into pre-drilled holes.

oof panels are marked “A_A”, “B_B”, etc., to fit together as sides. After installing the headers, lay out the roof panels along the
ends and sides with appropriate letters together. Start with a left and right corner. Put these two up onto corner unit and bolt
them together to hold them in place.
Do not tighten the bolts fully until the roof is completely together, and dome box is in place.
Work across the ends and along the sides until you are all the way around.

To install the dome box, raise the box up through the
opening and bring it down to set it into the opening. This box should fit
snuggly and may require that you push up on the roof panels to allow the box to slip into place. The edging on the outside of the
box should fit tightly down onto the roof. Fasten it with 1½” screws (where indicated by pre-drilled holes), through the box into
the roof plate. Once the box is properly set, tighten all the roof panel bolts.
Set the dome and the crown unit into place. Fasten with 2’ screws through pre-drilled holes.
Square up the roof on the wall panels. Fasten up throught the wall top plate, onto the roof header using three 2½“ screws per
panel.
Finishing the roof:
All caps and covers are installed using 1 ½ “ ggalvanized finishing nails provided. un two straight lines of silicone down the roof
shingles on either side of the joint so that they end up being under the cap edges. Flat caps are installed on the centre joints. Start
at the eave, set each flat cap on the shingle and fasten with two finishing nails. The beveled flat cap goes at the top, tucked under
the dome edge. idge caps go on the hips (corner ridges). Fasten with finishing nails through pre-drilled holes.
For fascia covers and corner covers, simply hold straight edge up, placed directly under overhanging shingle and nail into place with
1½“

properly, this warranty does not cover misuse or negligence and the manufacturer is not liable for any injury or

HOW TO TA E A SAUNA
1. Take a shower with warm water and soap.
2. Enter the pre-heated sauna (80-95 degrees), relax and allow your body to perspire in the soft dry heat. Do
not throw water on the rocks during the first part of the session.
3. Cool off with a cold shower.
4. e-enter the sauna and sprinkle water on the rocks, this will increase humidity and assist in the perspiration
process.
5. Take a cold shower. (or lake/pool) epeat this sauna/cold shower process as often as desired.
6. It is important to drink during your sauna session and even a light snack.

MAINTAINING YOUR SAUNA AFTER INSTALL
1. If you decide to stain your sauna you need to stain the outside only. The staining process will have
to be repeated every 2 or 3 year’s depending on the elements your sauna is in.
2. If you decide to leave your sauna natural it will weather off to a rustic silver grey look. Saunas are
built with cedar and made to be left unfinished in the elements.
3. Contact your local dealer or Dundalk LeisureCraft Inc. directly if you have further questions or
