Please read the following instructions for maintaining your product to extend its
service life and achieve optimum performance.

MAINTENANCE DURING USE
• Only use the product for the purpose as described in the accompanying manual.
• Recommended use: Rewinding 20 cargo straps, 5 min. pause.
• Do not hold the switch down after end of rewinding. This may result in overload of the power tool and risk of damage to the power tool
and / or personal injury.
• Only use the power tool in the immediate vicinity of the cargo strap. It can cause personal injury if control of the cargo strap is lost.
• Only use the power tool if the cargo strap you wish to roll up is collected and unified. It can cause personal injury if control of the
cargo strap is lost.
• Do not drag the cargo strap on the ground with the power tool during rewinding. This may cause overload of the power tool and risk
of damage to the power tool and / or personal injury.
• Do not drag the cargo strap off the goods with the power tool during rewinding. This may cause overload of the power tool and risk
of damage to the power tool and / or personal injury.
• Always point the power tool towards the cargo strap while rewinding. It can cause overload of the power tool and risk of damage to
the power tool if the power tool is unnecessarily overloaded.

STORAGE
• After use, always make sure the power tool is kept dry.
MAINTENANCE
• After use in the muddy and salty (near port) environments, wipe the power tool with a clean cloth.
• When rewinding dirty cargo straps, wipe the power tool with a clean cloth.
• When drying / wiping, remove the battery.
• Do not throw, toss, or unnecessarily drop the power tool.
OPTIMISE THE LIFETIME OF YOUR BATTERY
• Charge the supplied battery completely before first use.
• Do not immerse a rechargeable battery in water or expose it to excessive water.
• After use in a wet environment, remove the rechargeable battery and allow it to air dry away from UV (ultraviolet rays). Avoid proximity to
heat sources such as direct sunlight, wood fires or a radiator.
• Remove battery for prolonged storage of power tool. Store the battery in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
• Lithium-ion batteries lose 10% of their capacity per year, whether used or not, regardless of the number of cycles.
• The charging temperature of a lithium-ion battery should be between +10°C and +40° C to avoid deterioration.
• Avoid recharging a battery with a car charger under a windshield exposed to direct sunlight.
• Do not charge a battery inside a cabinet (such as a case or box) as this may cause overheating that may damage the battery.
• Use and storage temperature of a lithium-ion battery should be between -30°C and +40°C to avoid deterioration.
• The ideal ambient temperature for recharging, using and storing a lithium-ion battery is approx. 20°C.
• A negative temperature below 0°C reduces the battery life because the power tool consumes more power and accelerates the discharge.
• Elevated temperatures above 40°C can permanently damage the battery. However, this does not happen right away; repeated use at
elevated temperatures must occur to cause damage. Never leave your battery under a windshield, window or trunk if the outside
temperature is high.

RETIREMENT AND DISPOSAL OF USED PRODUCTS
For your safety, make sure you retire and dispose of products when needed.
A product must be retired and disposed of when:
• It is over 10 years old and is made of plastic or textiles.
• It has been subjected to a large drop or load (pressure / pull).
• It fails to pass inspection and service.
• Its reliability is questionable.
• Its entire history is unknown (eg found or used product).
• When it becomes obsolete due to changes in legislation, standards, technology or incompatibility with other equipment, etc.
NOTE! Dispose of end-of-life products to prevent further use.
SORT YOUR WASTE
When sorting reusable resources from your waste, such as plastic, metal and cardboard, you help ensure that no valuable resources are burned on the incineration.
It reduces CO2 emissions. Instead, the recyclable materials can serve new purposes.
