INSTALLATION PREPARATION
Locate all parts listed in Parts List. You will need a phillips
screwdriver, 9/32” (0.2812”) drill bit, corded or cordless drill,
two 7/16 wrenches.
ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the Agitator from the inside of the Hopper.
2. Disconnect either the Control Rod (2600A Series) or
Control Wire Lower Clip from the Hopper and then the
Control Wire from the Shut-o on the (2050 Series).
3. Remove the Hopper from the Frame.
4. Remove the Shut-o from the Hopper and keep the screws
for installation.
5. Install the new SSC Shut-o on the Hopper. Be careful to
not over tighten the Shut-o screws, and only snug these
screws.
6. Test the movement of the Shut-o, it should move easily
through the full range, but not so loose to create a gap
between the Shut-o and the Hopper.
7. Install the Remote Control Wire into the SSC Paddle and
then the Control Wire Housing into the depression and
secure with the screw.
8. Reinstall the Hopper onto the Frame.
9. Reconnect the Control Rod (2600A Series), or reinstall the
Control Wire into the Shut-o and then connect the Lower
Housing Clip and Control Wire (2050 Series).
10. Recalibrate the spreader by setting the rate Control Lever
to #30 and then make sure the Shut-o is fully open by
sliding the Control Rod or Wire Housing in/out to ensure
the Shut-o is fully open. Tighten the calibration bolt
(2600A Series) or the Lower Housing Clip (2050 Series).
11. Position the Control Assembly onto the Handle Shaft with
a slight slack in the Wire Housing, seating it fully on the
tubing. Next, mark the center of the mounting hole in the
Control on the tubing with a pointed chisel or awl to each
side.
12. Using a 9/32” (0.2812”) drill bit, drill the holes from each
side of the tubing, and then from one side, drill thru both
sides to ensure it’s straight.
13. Install the bolt and secure with the included nut and
tighten.

OPERATION
To use the SSC Remote, PULL the lever (#1) fully to CLOSE the
SSC paddle to stop the ow to the left side of the spreader. When
nished PUSH the lever fully to OPEN the shut-o for a full spread
pattern.
ADJUSTMENT/CALIBRATION
If the SSC paddle does not cover the two
drop holes completely, loosen #1 screw and
move outer cable in/out until the paddle
covers both drop holes fully.
