9. Operate appliance only after the Blade Locking Screw is properly
engaged and fully tightened.
10. The use of accessory attachments that are not recommended or
sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause re, electric shock,
or injuries.
11. Adjust the Thickness Guide to position “0” after use and before
cleaning.
12. Do not allow children access to this appliance. Close supervision is
necessary when any appliance is used near children.
13. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the Main
Housing unit or any part of the slicer cord and plug, in water or
other liquid.
14. Do not use outdoors. Always use this slicer indoors and on a at
surface to allow sufcient airow. Never use this slicer on a carpet,
towel, newspaper, etc., which can block airow to the bottom of
base and cause failure.
15. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning.
16. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after
the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
17. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces including the stove.
18. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
19. Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use.

NOTE: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than
the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug will t on a

Short Cord Instructions – a short power supply cord is provided to
reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a
longer cord. Extensions cords may be used if care is exercised in their
use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord
should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The
longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
