DESCRIPTION
The CXA120 is designed for continuous duty in speech, music,
paging, and sound reinforcement applications demanding high
performance, exible features, and rugged dependability. Screw
terminals provide connections for the two, discrete, actively
balanced inputs. The main program input is a conventional input,
featuring a 0 dB (Main) / –20 dB (Aux) sensitivity switch for low-
level and high-level input signals. The second telephone/paging
input has voice-activated priority over the main program input as
well as a volume trim control.
The CXA120 provides outputs for 4 ohm loads and for 25 V, 70 V,
and 100 V distributed systems. The output stage is designed with
smart circuitry that protects against permanent damage caused
by overloading, shorts, and extreme temperatures. Front panel
controls include master volume, bass, and treble. The bass and
treble controls provide shelving equalization at 100 Hz and 10 kHz.
The front panel meter indicates the output signal level, ranging
from –20 dB to +6 dB.
The CXA120 operates on 115 V or 230 V AC mains determined by
a voltage select switch. A 24 V DC power input allows connecting
backup battery power with automatic AC to DC switchover. Five
year warranty.
