Since its power consumption is very low, forced ventilation is not necessary. However, avoid exposing the
device to extreme temperature and the environment in which it is placed should be as dry and clean (no dust) as
possible.
3.2. Connection to an AC outlet and switching on
ePLAYER1 is powered by alternating current through its external power source: 100-240 VAC and 50-60 Hz.
This apparatus must be earthed through its mains cable (earth resistance, Rg = 30 , or lower). The
atmosphere should be as dry and dust free as possible. Do not expose the unit to rain or water splashes. Do not
place liquid containers or incandescent objects like candles on top of the unit.
Should any work or connection / disconnection task be done, always disconnect the unit from the mains
supply. There are no elements that can be manipulated by the user inside the amplifier.
To avoid buzzing, do not allow the power cable to intertwine with the shielded cables that transport the audio signal.
3.3. Audio output connections
ePLAYER1 features 1 unbalanced stereo audio output on its rear panel.
Signal output connectors are 2 x RCA and 1 x mini-Jack stereo type.
3.4. ETHERNET port for setup and Internet connection

6.4. Store and Forward
Store & Forward module lets ePLAYER1 download remote media content to local storage devices
(USB/MMC). When active, it checks daily a remote location including audio media, compares that one with the one
already stored in its local media (SD card) and, if necessary (differences are detected), synchronises the local one
to be an exact copy of the remote one. That is a safe method to play back contents with ePLAYER1 during its
working hours (day time), stored in a local device, and without taking the risk of real-time streaming reception
issues. For safety and efficiency reasons, the remote server where contents are stored must be an SSH one, and
public and private keys must be enabled and used.
Store & Forward module
General:
oStatus: enables or disables full Store & Forward process.
oTime: time (HH:MM) when synchronization will be executed.
Remote source:
oHost: host or IP Address.
oPort.

7. CLEANING
The front panel should not be cleaned with dissolvent or abrasive substances because silk-printing could
be damaged. To clean it, use a soft cloth slightly wet with water and neutral liquid soap; dry it with a clean cloth. Be
careful that water never gets into the unit through the holes of the front panel.
