Instructions
Installation of Tube and Breather:
• This oil fill tube requires a Ø1.250” hole to fit properly. Only
manifolds with this hole pre-drilled or a raised boss intended to be
drilled should be used. The manifold should be installed on the
engine and the gaskets set before beginning this installation.
• Drop tube into hole until snug. Place a block of wood on top of the
tube and use a hammer or mallet to drive tube fully into the hole.
• Install supplied breather on the end of the oil fill tube. Please note
that the top of the oil fill tube has been internally textured to
improve breather retention, finishing of this surface is not
recommended.
The #4803 Oil Fill Tube will allow you to use classic sealed valve
covers without compromising crankcase ventilation. It is intended to
be used with nostalgic or OEM intake manifolds with a 1.25” hole in
the front near the thermostat. Please study these instructions carefully
