ENGLISH
SAFETY WARNINGS
♦ Check that the voltage shown on the label of the unit corresponds to the vol-
tage of the mains supply.
♦ Connect the unit only to power supplies with residual current circuit breaker
(RCCD) with sensitivity of 30 mA.
♦ Always disconnect all electrical appliances from the mains before placing your
hands in the water.
♦ The line cord cannot be replaced or repaired. Should the cord become dama-
ged the appliance must be discarded.
♦ Units marked with on the label are for indoor use only.
♦ This unit must not be used in swimming pools or bathrooms.
♦ This appliance has been designed for use in fluids up to 35°C.
FOR UK ONLY
The leads of this unit must be connected as follows: Blue or Black to Neutral or Black-
coloured terminal; Brown to Live or Red-coloured terminal. Earthed units have a
Green or Green/Yellow earth wire and this must be connected to the Earth terminal
on the plug.
MAINTENANCE OF THE PUMP
The motor is fully encapsulated and self protected against overheating and needs no
particular care. If the pump fails to work, check first the electrical supply, connec-
tions, circuit breaker etc. If these are correct, the pump needs to be cleaned.
Regular cleaning of the pump is recommended to remove any debris and lime-scale,
which could block the unit.
CLEANING THE PUMP
Prior to any work on the unit, disconnect all electrical equipment from the mains.
Remove the cover from the motor housing. Pull out the rotor from its location (fig.
1). Carefully rinse all components under running water cleaning with a non-metallic
brush. If necessary remove lime-scale by immersing the components in vinegar or
lemon juice for few hours. Reassemble the unit so that all components are placed in
their original position.
ASSEMBLING THE FILTER
Open the filter:
Insert the supplied caps in their locations (fig. 2)
Mount the suction cups on the base as shown in fig. 3.
Rinse the activated carbon bag in water and place it in the appropriate chamber.
Place the base of the filter in the chosen corner of the aquarium taking care to clean
away any gravel and other debris.
Fix the base by pressing it so that the suction cups are firmly in place.
Connect the pump to the upper part of the filter and lock the cord in its seat (fig. 4).
Place the upper part of the filter on the base, taking care to ensure the parts are
properly seated.
It is recommended to keep the level of the water within the range given in fig. 5.
DECORATION OF THE FILTER
Clean the surface from dust or humidity and just stick the pre-cut decorations where
your like.
MAINTENANCE OF THE FILTER
Prior to any work on the unit, disconnect all electrical equipment from the mains.
Clean the filter when the water flow from the cascade appears insufficient or when the

pump sucks in air with the water.
To open the filter, remove the upper part. Take off the pre-filter sponge and rinse
it under luke warm water. Do not wash the biological cartridge until it appears to
be completely clogged.
The adsorbing action of the activated carbon has a limited life which is strictly
related to the number of turtles or amphibians populating the tank. It is recom-
mended that you regularly replace the carbon especially if there is a bad odour.
Use only original Eden’s carbon cartridges.
Do not fill the chamber with loose carbon; always use the appropriate bag.
WARRANTY
We guarantee this product for 24 months from the date of purchase against
faulty materials and manufacture. This unit has been manufactured accor-
ding to the IEC EN 60 335-2-41 Safety Standards, using highest quality mate-
rials and the most accurate manufacturing processes to give the highest sati-
sfaction and longest life. This guarantee does not cover any mishandling,
damage or technical modification to the unit. No replacement will be given for
units that have not been properly maintained. The guarantee will be honoured
only if the unit is returned in its whole and together with the receipt or proof
of purchase. In case of returning under guarantee, please return it accompa-
nied by this certificate of guarantee and the proof of purchase to your supplier.
We do reserve the right to repair or replace the unit. The guarantee does not
cover cases of damages which may result from misuse, tampering and negli-
gence or from not observing of the Safety Warnings. This guarantee does not
cover parts subjected to natural wearing and tear (i.e. rotors).

PRECAUTIONS D’EMPLOI

MODE D’EMPLOI POUR LA POMPE
ENTRETIEN
Le moteur est entièrement encapsulé et protégé contre les surchauffes, il n’a pas
besoin d’entretien. Si l’unité ne fonctionne pas, vérifier avant tout le branchement
électrique, le disjoncteur etc., si tout est parfait l’appareil devrait simplement être à
nettoyer!
Il est recommandé de nettoyer régulièrement la pompe en prenant soin d’éliminer
tous les dépôts.
NETTOYAGE
Avant de mettre vos mains dans l’eau, débranchez tous les appareils électriques
immergés.
Deboiter le couvercle de la pompe (fig. 1). Sortir la turbine de son emplacement.
Rincer le tout sous l’eau claire à l’aide d’une brosse non métallique.
Les dépôts calcaires qui résistent peuvent être enlevés en laissant l’unité immer-
gée dans du vinaigre ou du jus de citron pendant quelque heures.
ASSEMBLAGE DU FILTRE
Ouvrir le filtre :
Enserir les capuchons fournis (fig. 2)
Monter les ventouses à la base du filtre comme indiqué dans la fig. 3.
Rincer dans l’eau le sachet avec le charbon activé et le placer dans son endroit.
Placer la base du filtre dans le coin choisi avec soin d’enlever le gravier au autres
débris présents.
Fixer la base en appuyant sur la même pour permettre aux ventouses de se fixer.
Monter la pompe dans la partie supérieure du filtre en fixant le câble dans son
endroit (fig. 4)
Monter la partie supérieure du filtre sur la base en ayant soin de positionner correc-
tement les deux partes.
Il est recommandé de maintenir le niveau de l’eau entre les repères indiquées sur la
fig. 5.
Placer la base du filtre dans le coin choisi avec soin d’enlever le gravier et autres
débris présents.
Fixer la base en appuyant sur celle-ci pour permettre aux ventouses de se fixer.
Monter la pompe dans la partie supérieure du filtre en fixant le câble dans son loge-
ment (fig. 4)

Monter la partie supérieure du filtre sur la base en ayant soin de positionner
correctement les deux parties.
DECORATION DU FILTRE
Nettoyer le filtre de la poussière et de l’humidité. Appliquer les décorations pre-
coupées en suivant votre goût et votre fantaisie.
MANUTENTION DU FILTRE
Avant de mettre vos mains dans l’eau, débranchez tous les appareils électriques
immergés.
Nettoyer soigneusement le filtre chaque fois que le flux de l’eau à la cascade soit
insuffisant ou que la pompe aspire de l’aire avec l’eau.
Ouvrir le filtre en enlevant sa partie supérieure. Enlever l’éponge mécanique et la
laver à l’eau courante tiède. Laver l’éponge biologique uniquement dans le cas où
celle-ci soit complètement bloquée.
L’effet absorbant du charbon actif est limité dans le temps et lié au numéro de
tortues ou amphibiens dans le bac. Il est recommandé de le remplacer souvent,
particulièrement en présence de mauvaises odeurs. Ne mettre pas de charbon
directement dans son endroit sinon qu’en utilisant une maille.
Il est recommandé d’utiliser du charbon original Eden.
GARANTIE
Le matériel et l’assemblage de cette unité, sont garanti pendant 24 mois de la
date d’achat. L’unité a été fabriquée en conformité aux Normes de Sécurité IEC
EN 60 335-2-41 avec les technologies les plus modernes en utilisant des
matériaux de qualité pour garantir la puissance, la fiabilité et une longue
satisfaction. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les défauts dus à altération, négli-
gence, mauvaise utilisation, modifications techniques ou le mauvais entre-
tien. La garantie sera reconnue uniquement si l’unité est retournée dans son
intégrité, accompagnée par la preuve ou facture d’achat. Pour utiliser cette
garantie retourner l’unité au fournisseur avec ce bon de garantie complété et
la preuve d’achat. Nous nous réservons le droit de remplacer ou réparer les
unités retournées sous garantie. Cette garantie ne couvre pas les défauts
causés par emploi non convenable, par négligence ou la non-observance des
normes de sécurité. Les pièces (ex. la turbine) sujets à l’usure ne sont pas
couvertes par cette garantie.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNGEN DER PUMPE
PFLEGE
Waschen Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen den Filter, den Rotor und das Pumpegehäuse
um Verunreinigungen und Kalkablagerungen zu vermeiden. Der Motor is vollständig
versiegelt und durch einen Selbstschutz gegen Überhitzen abgesichert und weitge-
hend wartungsfrei. Bei Störungen zunächst die Stromzufuhr, Anschlüsse und
Schutzschalter der Elektrischen Anlage kontrollieren. Falls alles in Ordnung ist, muß
die Pumpe gereiningt werden.
REINIGUNG
Trennen Sie zunächst sämtliche Unterwassergeräte vor der Stromquelle bevor Sie
irgendeine Arbeit in Angriff nehmen. Nehmen Sie den Filter aus dem Motogehäuse,
öffnen Sie ihn und ziehen Sie den Rotor aus seiner Halterung (fig. 1); dann waschen
Sie alle Teile sorgfältig mit einer nicht-metallischen Bürste. Falls erforderlich, entfer-
nen Sie eventuelle Kalkablagerungen, indem Sie die Filterteile für einige Stunden in
Essig oder Zitronensaft legen.
INSTALLATION DES FILTERS
Den Filterdeckel abnehmen:
Die mitgelieferten Verschlüsse aus Plastik einführen (fig. 2).
Die Saugnäpfen an der Basis befestigen, wie gezeigt in fig. 3.
Den Aktivkohlebeutel unter fließendem Wasser waschen und in den dazu bestimmten
Platz im Filter einführen.
Die Basis des Filters in die gewählte Ecke Ihres Behälters legen, indem Kies oder
andere schmutziges Material sorgfältig weggenommen wird.
Die Basis leicht am Boden drücken, damit die Saugfüsse korrekt befestigt sind.
Die Pumpe an den Filterdeckel so anbringen, indem die Kabelleitung sorgfältig auf
der geeigneten Stelle fixiert wird. (fig. 4)
Den Deckel dann auf die Basis zusammensetzten, indem die zwei Teile richtig
aufeinanderpassen.
Das Wasserniveau im Filter soll nie niedriger sein als wie in fig. 5 gezeigt.
DEKORATION DES FILTERS
Den Filter vom Staub oder Feuchtigkeit reinigen. Die vorher ausgeschnitten graphi-
schen Dekorelementen je nach Wunsch aufkleben.
PFLEGE
Vor jeglichem Wasserkontakt und Eintauchen der Hände sind alle im Wasser befin-

dlichen Geräte von Netz zu trennen.
Den Filter reinigen wenn die Fördermenge des Wasserfalls niedrig ist oder wenn
die Pumpe Luft ansaugen sollte.
Den Filter öffnen, indem der Deckel entfernt wird. Die Vorfilter-Patrone wegneh-
men und diese unter fliessenden lauwarmen Wasser waschen. Die biologische
Patrone erst dann waschen, wenn diese völlig verstopft ist.
Die Absorptionsfähigkeit der Aktivkohle ist mit der Zeit beschränkt und wird durch
den Schmutz der Schildkröten oder Amphibien verbraucht. Wir empfehlen deshalb
eine häufige Ersetzung der Aktivkohle, besonders beim Entstehen von Geruch.
Keine lose Aktivkohle in den Behälter füllen; nur original Eden Ersatzpatronen
benutzen oder die dafür geeigneten löcherigen Beutel verwenden.
Die Pumpe reinigen wie oben bei der Pflege des Filters beschrieben.
GARANTIE:
Für dieses Produkt gewähren wir ab dem Kaufdatum eine 24 monatige
Garantie auf Material und werkseitige Montage. Das Gerät wurden nach den
IEC EN 60 335-2-41 Sicherheitsvorschriften konstruiert, nach sorgfältigen
Arbeitsmethoden und unter Verwendung von Materialien höchster Qualität
hergestellt. Damit ist eine dauerhaft hohe Zuverlässigkeit und Leistungsstärke
garantiert. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf unsachgemäße Handhabung,
Beschädigung aller Art und technische Veränderungen. Insbesondere für ver-
schmutzte Geräte wird kein Ersatz geleistet. Die Garantie wird gewährt, wenn
das Gerät in allen Teilen vollständig und zusammen mit der
Empfangsbestätigung oder Rechnung eingereicht wird. Im Garantiefall schi-
cken Sie das Gerät zusammen mit dieser Urkunde und dem Rechnungsbeleg
an Ihren Händler zurück. Bei gerechtfertigtem Garantieanspruch behalten wir
uns vor, das Gerät zu reparieren oder zu ersetzen. Ansprüche und Folgeschäden,
die aus unsachgemäßem Gebrauch, mangelnder Pflege oder Missachtung der
Sicherheitsvorschriften entstehen, sind von der Garantie ausgenommen.
Verschleißschäden an Verschleißteilen (z. B. Rotor) fallen nicht unter unseren
Garantieschutz.

ISTRUZIONI PER LA POMPA
MANUTENZIONE
Si raccomanda di pulire regolarmente la pompa eliminando sporcizia e depositi
calcarei.
Il motore è completamente sigillato ed autoprotetto contro surriscaldamento e non
richiede particolari cure. In caso di mancato funzionamento controllare per prima
cosa il collegamento ed i dispositivi di sicurezza dell’impianto elettrico, se tutto
risulta a posto la pompa necessita di essere pulita.
PULIZIA DELLA POMPA
Prima di qualunque operazione, staccare l’alimentazione di tutti gli apparecchi
immersi.
Smontare la pompa e togliere il rotore dalla sua sede (fig. 1); lavare il tutto accura-
tamente con uno spazzolino non metallico. Gli eventuali depositi calcarei possono
essere rimossi lasciando l’apparecchio immerso in aceto o succo di limone per
alcune ore.
ASSEMBLAGGIO DEL FILTRO
Aprire il filtro:
Inserire i tappi forniti (fig. 2).
Montare le ventose alla base come illustrato nella fig. 3.
Sciacquare in acqua corrente il sacchetto carbone e posizionarlo nell’apposito vano.
Posizionare la base del filtro nell’angolo prescelto della vasca, avendo cura di pulirlo
togliendo il ghiaino ed altro sporco eventualmente presente.
Fissare la base con una leggera pressione per consentire il corretto funzionamento
delle ventose.
Collegare la pompa alla parte superiore del filtro fermando il cavo nell’apposita sede.
(fig. 4).
Montare la parte superiore del filtro sulla base, avendo cura di far combaciare le due
parti correttamente.
Si raccomanda di mantenere l’acqua ad un livello non inferiore a quanto previsto
della figura 5.
DECORAZIONE DEL FILTRO
Pulire il filtro da polvere o umidità. Applicare gli elementi grafici pretagliati a piacere
dove vi suggerisce la fantasia.
MANUTENZIONE DEL FILTRO
Prima di qualunque operazione, staccare l’alimentazione di tutti gli apparecchi elet-

trici immersi.
Pulire il filtro ogniqualvolta il flusso d’acqua alla cascata sia insufficiente o la
pompa aspirasse aria. Aprire il filtro togliendo la parte superiore dello stesso.
Estrarre la spugna prefiltro e sciacquarla in abbondante acqua tiepida corrente.
Lavare la cartuccia biologica solo nel caso la stessa sia completamente intasata.
L’effetto assorbente del carbone attivo, è limitato nel tempo e si esaurisce con lo
sporco prodotto dalle tartarughe o dagli anfibi. Si raccomanda di sostituirlo fre-
quentemente, in particolare in presenza di odori sgradevoli. Non collocare carbo-
ne sfuso nell’apposito vano; usare esclusivamente cartucce di ricambio originali
Eden o utilizzare gli appositi sacchetti porosi.
Pulire la pompa, come spiegato sopra, ogni volta che si procede alla manutenzio-
ne del filtro.
GARANZIA
Il materiale ed il montaggio di questo prodotto, sono garantiti per 24 mesi
dalla data di acquisto. L’unità è stata prodotta secondo le Norme di Sicurezza
IEC EN 335-2-41, con processi produttivi particolarmente accurati e con
l’utilizzo di materiali di alta qualità per garantire la massima affidabilità nel
tempo ed elevate prestazioni. La garanzia non copre usi impropri, manomis-
sioni o modifiche tecniche di qualunque tipo o i prodotti con evidenti segni
di mancata manutenzione o sporchi. La garanzia sarà riconosciuta solo se
l’unità sarà restituita nella sua integrità, con lo scontrino fiscale o la fattura
di acquisto. Nel caso si presenti la necessità di ricorrere alla garanzia, il pro-
dotto dovrà essere restituito assieme al presente certificato e alla prova d’ac-
quisto, al negoziante. I prodotti rientranti nelle condizioni di garanzia
saranno riparati o sostituiti a nostro insindacabile giudizio. Sono esclusi
dalla garanzia, tutti i danni derivanti da uso improprio, mancata manuten-
zione o dalla non osservanza delle norme di sicurezza. Le parti soggette ad
usura (es. il rotore) non sono oggetto della presente garanzia.

NORMAS DE SEGURIDAD

MANTENIMIENTO
Se recomienda limpiar asiduamente el filtro, el rotor y la cámara de la bomba elimi-
nando la suciedad y los depósitos calcáreos.
El motor está completamente sellado y autoprotegido contra el recalentamiento y no
necesita un manteniemiento especial. En caso de que no funcione VERIFICAR en
primer lugar el enchufe y los dispositivos de seguridad de la instalación eléctrica, si
el resultado es correcto la bomba necesita una limpieza.
LIMPIEZA
Antes de cualquier operación, desenchufar todos los aparatos eléctricos sumergidos.
Desmontar el filtro del cuerpo motor, abrirlo y sacar el rotor de su sitio (fig. 1) lavar
todo con un cepillo no metálico. Los posibles depósitos calcáreos se pueden eliminar
dejando el aparato sumergido en vinagre o zumo de limón durante algunas horas.
MONTAJE DEL FILTRO
Abrir el filtro:
Insertar los tapones suministrados con el filtro (fig. 2)
Montar las ventosas en la base del filtro como indicado en la fig. 3.
Enjuagar con agua el saco de tela con el carbón activado y ponerlo en este sitio.
Poner la base del filtro en el rincón elegido con cuidado de retirar la gravilla u otros
residuos presentes.
Fijar la base empujando sobre la misma para que las ventosas se fijen.
Montar la bomba en la parte superior del filtro fijando el cable en su sitio (fig. 4)
Montar la parte superior del filtro sobre la base teniendo cuidado de posicionar
correctamente las dos partes.
Se recomienda mantener el nivel de agua entre las dos marcas indicadas (fig. 5)
DECORACIÓN DEL FILTRO
Limpiar el filtro de polvo y humedad. Colocar las decoraciones precortadas según su
gusto.
MANTENIMIENTO DEL FILTRO
Antes de poner sus manos en el agua, desenchufe todos los aparatos eléctricos
sumergidos.
Limpiar a fondo el filtro cada vez que el flujo de agua hacia la cascada sea insuficien-
te o que la bomba aspire aire con el agua.
Abrir el filtro quitando la parte superior. Quitar el compartimento mecánico y lim-
piarlo con agua corriente tibia. Limpiar el compartimento biológico únicamente en
caso de que esté completamente bloqueado.
El efecto absorbente del carbón activado está limitado en el tiempo y ligado al núme-
ro de tortugas o anfibios que haya en el acuario. Se recomienda cambiarlo a menudo,

sobretodo en presencia de malos olores. No ponga el carbón activado directamen-
te en su sitio, sino que utilice una malla o media. Se recomienda utilizar carbón
activado original de Eden.
GARANTIA
Esta unidad tiene una garantía de 24 meses a partir de la fecha de compra en
materiales y fallos de fabricación. Esta unidad ha sido fabricada de acuerdo
con los Estándares de Seguridad de IEC EN 335-2-41; usando materiales de alta
calidad y el mejor proceso de fabricación para asegurar una mayor satisfac-
ción y durabilidad. Esta garantía no cubre cualquier mal manejo, daño o
modificación técnica en la unidad. No se reemplazarán unidades abiertas o
sucias. Esta garantía será válida sólo si la unidad es devuelta con su empaque
original y junto con el recibo o factura de compra. En caso de una devolución
por garantía, por favor anexar este certificado de garantía y el recibo de
compra de su proveedor. Nos reservamos el derecho de reparar o reemplazar
esta unidad en los casos de certificado de garantía. Esta garantía no cubre
daños que pueden resultar del mal uso, taponamiento, negligencia o por no
