Mount the Device

Connect to the Web User Interface
1. Connect a PC directly to one of the switch’s RJ-45 ports.
2. Set the PC IP address to be on the same subnet as the switch (that is,
the PC and switch IP addresses must both start 192.168.2.x with
subnet mask 255.255.255.0).
3. Enter the switch’s default management IP address of 192.168.2.10
into the web browser address bar.
4. Log in to the web interface using the default settings:
User Name = admin
Password = admin
Warning: For a safe and reliable installation, use only
the accessories and screws provided with the device. Use
of other accessories and screws could result in damage to
the unit. Any damages incurred by using unapproved
accessories are not covered by the warranty.

1. Attach the Brackets
Use the included flathead M4x8 screws to attach the brackets.
2. Mount the Device
Mount the device in the rack and secure it with rack screws.
Note: The device can also be installed on a desktop or
shelf using the included adhesive rubber feet.

Attach a lug (not provided) to a #18 AWG minimum grounding wire
(not provided), and connect it to the grounding point on the rear panel.
Then connect the other end of the wire to rack ground.
Note: For more information on switch configuration using
the web interface, refer to the Management Guide, which is
on the Edgecore web site, www.edge-core.com.

Connect an AC power source to the device.

RJ-45 PoE Ports
Connect Cat. 5e or better twisted-pair cable.
SFP Ports
Install transceivers and then connect fiber optic cabling to the
transceiver ports. The following transceivers are supported:
1000BASE-SX/LX and 1000BASE-T (RJ-45)

安裝裝置
將裝置接地

連接至網路使用者介面
1. 將PC 直接連接至交換器的 RJ-45 連接埠之一。
2. 在與交換器相同的子網路遮罩上設定 PC IP 位址 （意即 PC 和交
換器 IP 位址必須都是以 192.168.2.x 開頭，且子網路遮罩為
255.255.255.0）。
3. 將交換器的預設管理 IP 位址 192.168.2.10 輸入至網頁瀏覽器位
址列。
4. 使用預設設定值登入網路介面：
使用者名稱 = admin
密碼 = admin
警告： 為確保安全且可靠的安裝，請使用裝置隨附的配件
與螺絲。使用其他來源的配件與螺絲可能導致配件損壞。
使用未經許可配件所造成之損壞，不在保固範圍內。
