Chapter I: Introduction
1.1 Package Contents
Please check the contents of your new Network IP Camera when you unpack the
package. If any item is missing, please contact your dealer of purchase for help.

1.2 Hardware Overview

Description
Power/Cloud LED
When the camera is first turned on, the LED will
flash while the camera connects to the cloud.
When the LED remains on without flashing, the
camera has successfully connected to the cloud.
Network LED
This LED flashes when there is wired or wireless
network activity.
Camera Lens
Camera receives images through this 1.7mm
wide lens.
Antenna
Camera receives and transmits wireless signals
through this 2dBi antenna.

Mount Connector
Attaches to the enclosed mounting kit, which
allows the camera to stand or to hang from a
wall or ceiling.
WPS/Reset button
Hold down the button for 2 seconds to start WPS
connection mode, or hold it down for 10 seconds
to reset the camera to factory default settings.

Connects to the 5V power adapter

1.3 Installing the Network Camera
Please follow the following instructions to setup your new network camera.
1. Remove the camera and its accessories from the packaging.
2. Review the contents and compare with the component list. If any
components are missing, please contact your supplier.
3. Connect the network cameras LAN port to a router or switchs LAN port with
an Ethernet cable.
4. Connect the mounting kit to the mounting connector on the back of the
camera. The camera can then stand on a flat surface, or be attached to a wall
or ceiling..
5. Plug the adapter into an electrical socket and connect the power cable to the
power jack located at the rear of the network camera.

6. After installation, the Power/Cloud LED will flash for 10 to 15 seconds while
the camera connects to the cloud. When the LED stops flashing, the camera
has successfully connected to the cloud.

Chapter II: Accessing the EdiView Finder Utility
2.1 Edimax Ediview Installation Package
The network camera package includes a CD-ROM that contains the utilities and
reference manuals to assist in installing, locating and using the network camera.
When the CD-ROM is inserted into your computer, the following screen
appears:
The following options are available on the CDROM:
Setup Utility: Installs the EdiView Finder utility (Windows only)
Multi-Language Quick Installation Guide (QIG): Opens a quick installation
guide ebook
User Manual: Open a user manual ebook
16-Channel Viewer: Installs the 16-channel camera viewer application
(Windows only)
Exit: Exit the installation CDROM
