Introduction
This device is a powerful, high-performance Fast Ethernet
switch, with all ports capable of 10 or 100Mbps auto-negotiation
operation (NWay), which means this switch could automatically
negotiate with the connected partners on the network speed and
duplex mode. It is ideal for micro-segmenting large networks into
smaller, connected subnets for improved performance, enabling
the bandwidth demanding multimedia and imaging applications.
Moreover, the 10/100Mbps auto-sensing ability provides an
easy way to migrate 10Mbps to 100Mbps network with no pain.
Compared to the shared 10Mbps or 100Mbps networks, the
switch delivers a dedicated 10/100Mbps connection to every
attached client with no bandwidth congestion issue. This switch
also supports auto MDI / MDI-X function; each port could be
used to connect to another switch or hub with no crossover
RJ-45 cable.
Store-and-forward switching mode promises the low latency
plus eliminates all the network errors, including runt and CRC
error packets. To work under full-duplex mode, transmission and
reception of the frames can occur simultaneously without
causing collisions as well as double the network bandwidth.
The switch is plug-n-play without any software to configure and
also fully compliant with all kinds of network protocols. Moreover,
the rich diagnostic LEDs on the front-panel can provide the
operating status of individual port and whole system.

Connect each station to the switch by twisted-pair cable. Plug
one RJ-45 connector into a RJ-45 port of the switch, and plug
the other RJ-45 connector into the station’s network adapter.
Power on the switch and then system is ready. For cable
selection, refer to the following table.
Switches Connection
In making a switch interconnection, you could use any port to
connect another switch with straight or crossover cable. As all
the ports support auto MDI / MDI-X function, using a straight
cable to make a switch-to-switch connection is allowed.

Rack-Mount
The switch may standalone, or may be mounted in a standard
19-inch equipment rack. Rack mounting produces an orderly
installation when you have a number of related network devices.
The switch is supplied with two optional rack mounting brackets
and screws. These are used for rack mounting the unit.

Úvod
Toto zařízení je všestranný a vysoce produktivní přepínač
Ethernet, ve kterém všechny porty můžou obsluhovat síťové
spojení 10 nebo 100 Mbps v módu automatického odhalení
(NWay). To znamená, že přepínačmůže automaticky
komunikovat se zařízeními rychlost posílání dat v síti a m´d
duplex. Tento přepínačje ideální pro dělení velkých sítí na
menší, spojené s sebou podsítě, pro zvýšení jejich produktivity,
umožňuje obsluhu multimediálních a grafických aplikací, které
potřebují vysokou propustnost.
Funkce automatick0 detekce rzchlosti zasílání dat 10/100Mbps
umožňuje bezproblematickou migraci ze sítě10Mbps do
100Mbps. V porovnání se zařízeními, která obsluhují míchaný
mód 10Mbps nebo 100Mbps, tento přepínačobsluhuje
didikovaná spojení 10/100Mbps s každým klientem, kterýje na
něj spojený, co dobře eliminuje zácpy. Přepínačmá také funkci
„auto MDI / MDI-X”, díky které se do každého portu může zapojit
jiný přepínačnebo koncentrátor anižby se musel používat
krosový kabel RJ-45.

Zapojení počítačů
Každý počítačse zapojuje do přepínače kebely. Jednu zástčku
RJ-45 je třeba zapojit do portu RJ-45 v přepínači a druhou
zástrčku RJ-45 do portu v síťové kartěpočítače. Po zapojení
přepínače do proudu je připraven k práci. Informace o výběru
kabelůjsme ukázali v tabulce v další části návodu.
Připojení jiných přepínačů
Pro připojení jiných přepínačů je možno využít kterýkoli port
přepínače, do kterého se může zapojit kabel obyčejný nebo
krosový. Protože všechny porty přepínače obsluhují funkci
automatické volby MDI / MDI-X, pro spojení s sebou dvou

přepínačů je možno použít obyčejný kabel.

EINLEITUNG
Dieses Gerät ist ein schneller Hochleistungs-Ethernet-Switch, bei
dem alle Ports für 10 oder 100 Mbps Auto-Negotiation Operation
(NWay) ausgelegt sind, was bedeutet, dass dieser Switch
automatisch mit den im Netzwerk verbundenen Partnern in
Netzgeschwindigkeit und im Duplexmodus verhandelt. Er ist für das
Mikro-Segmentieren von großen Netzen in kleinere, verbundene
Subnets für eine verbesserte Leistung ideal, und ermöglicht die

Stationsverbindung
Verbinden Sie jede Station mit dem Switch durch Doppelkabel. Stecken
Sie ein RJ-45-Anschlussstück in einen RJ-45-Port des Switches, und

Rack-Installation

Introducción
Este dispostivo es un potente conmutador Ethernet de alta velocidad, con
grandes prestaciones que permite que los puertos NWay puedan
negociar sus velocidades de funcionamiento de 10 o 100Mbps. Esto
signfica que dicho conmutador puede negociar automáticamente con los
colaboradores que estén conectados a la velocidad de la red y en modo
duplex. Es ideal para dividir grandes redes en segmentos más pequeños,
conectados a subredes para mejorar así sus prestaciones, permitiendo al

Además, la función de detección automática de 10/100Mbps constituye
un simple método para pasar de una red de 10Mbps a otra de 100Mbps

100Mbps, el conmutador ofrece una conexión exclusiva de 10/100Mbps
a cada cliente conectado sin causar problemas de sobreuso de la banda

Introduction
Ce dispositif est un puissant switch Ethernet Rapide à haute
performance, dont tous les ports sont capables d'effectuer des
actions d'auto-négociation à 10 ou 100 Mo/s (NWay), ce qui signifie

Raccordement des stations
Raccordez chaque station au switch à l'aide de câbles à paires
torsadées. Branchez une prise RJ-45 dans le port RJ-45 du
switch, et branchez l'autre prise RJ-45 dans l'adaptateur réseau
de la station. Allumez le switch. Le système est prêt à

Raccordement de Switches
Pour réaliser une interconnexion entre deux switches, vous
pouvez utiliser n'importe quel port pour relier un autre switch à

Montage en rack
Le switch peut être utilisé de façon autonome ou monté dans un
rack à équipements standard 19 pouces. Le montage en rack

Collegamento delle Stazioni
Collegare ciascuna stazione all'interruttore tramite il cavo a
doppini intrecciati. Inserire un connettore RJ-45 in una porta
RJ-45 dell'interruttore, e inserire l'altro connettore RJ-45
nell'adattatore della rete della stazione. Attivare l'interruttore e
quindi il sistema è pronto. Per la selezione del cavo, si prega di
fare riferimento alla seguente tabella.
Collegamento degli Interruttori
Nell'eseguire un intercollegamento tra interruttori, potete usare
una porta qualsiasi per collegare un altro interruttore con un
cavo dritto o crossover. Siccome tutte le porte supportano la
funzione automatica MDI / MDI-X, l'utilizzo di un cavo dritto per
eseguire un collegamento da interruttore a interruttore è
consentito.
