Additional safety instructions
앬Ensure that the ON/OFF switch is set to “0” (OFF)
before you insert the plug into the socket.
앬The nozzle can reach temperatures of up to
630°. Caution Risk of burns! Wear gloves and
protective goggles. During operation the
nozzle should not be touched.
앬Let the hot air pistol cool off completely before
clearing up.
앬Never leave the appliance in the rain or in damp
places. Store the appliance in a dry place.
앬Never leave the appliance unsupervised. Keep
the appliance away from children.
앬Never aim the air flow at people or animals.
The appliance may not be used to dry clothes
or hair. The hot air blower may not be used as
a hair dryer.
앬The appliance must not be used near highly
inflammable or explosive substances and gases.
앬Never restrict the hot air flow by blocking or
covering the air outlet.
앬Only use original accessories and spare parts
from the manufacturer.
앬Never wear loose clothing or jewellery. Wear non-
slip shoes and a hairnet if you have long hair.
Ensure that you maintain a steady foothold.
앬Never use the appliance in a wet environment or
in areas where relative humidity is high
(bathroom, sauna, etc.)
앬Check your working area for highly inflammable
substances before using the hot air pistol.
앬Never carry the hot air pistol by its Power cable.
앬Only use extension cables with a minimum cross-
section of 1.5mm2
앬Repairs (e.g. exchange of power cable) may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
앬Do not use chemical removers and solvents at
the same time as the hot air pistol.
앬Clean the nozzle if it gets dirty.
앬Make sure the openings for the air inlet and outlet
are always clean and free of dirt.
앬When removing colour or working with plastics,
vapours which could be damaging to
health/poisonous may be produced. Make sure of
adequate air supply when working in a house.
앬Never aim the hot air directly at a window or other
glass surfaces.
앬This appliance is not designed to be used by
people (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental capacities or those with no
experience and /or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person who is responsible for
their safety or they have received instructions
from such a person in how to use the appliance
safely. Children must always be supervised in
order to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
앬Fires can be caused if the appliance is not
handled carefully and correctly.
앬Take care when using the appliance near
inflammable substances. Do not aim the pistol at
the same point for a long time.
앬Do not use in explosive atmospheres.
앬Warmth may be carried to inflammable materials
which are concealed.
앬After use, let the appliance cool on the stand
before it is put away.
앬Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it
is in operation.
