IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the appliance, basic precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Do not operate the appliance with damaged power cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunction, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the
nearest authorized dealer or after-sales service center for examination, repair, electrical
or mechanical adjustment.
3. When removing the plug from wall outlet, grasp the plug to pull and not the cable.
4. Do not let the power cord hang over edge of table or counter or hot surface.
5. Do not leave the mixer unattended while operating.
6. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse mixer in water or any other
liquids. This may cause personal injury or damage to the product!
7. Avoid contacting with moving parts. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and other
utensils away from beater, whisk and dough hook during operation to reduce the risk of
injury to persons, and/or damage to the appliance.
8. Be careful when lifting this appliance as it is heavy.
9. Never use any accessories of parts from other manufacturer or that ELBA does not
specially recommended.
10. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm
persons.
11. Do not place the appliance on or near gas stove or on a heated oven.
12. Bowl must be in proper position before operating the appliance.
13. Never eject beater, whisk, and dough hook while operating the appliance.
14. Unplug the plug from wall outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning.
15. Let the appliance to cool off before cleaning or storing.
16. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
17. Do not use this mixer outdoors.
18. This appliance is for domestic use only.
19. This appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a
person responsible for their safety.
20. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
21. Save these instructions for future reference.
Important note:
The max operation time shall not exceed 10 minutes. Let the appliance rest for
approximate 30 minutes until the mixer has cooled off.
Always power off the appliance before changing or removing the accessories.

Accessories:
Dough hook - For kneading the dough.
Beater - For making cakes, biscuits, pastry, mashed potatoes, butter, cheesecake, etc.
Whisk - For eggs, cream, mousses, etc. Butter or cheese can be mixed by whisk
provided they are thaw to room temperature.
Note: Do not use the whisk for heavy mixtures (example like creaming sugar)
as it will damage the whisk.
Spatula - For removing ingredients which attached to the bowl.

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Remove all the packaging.
2. Wash the stainless steel bowl, splash guard and all accessories.
Note: Never immerse the stand mixer into water nor rinse it under tap.
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
Before installation of the accessories, be sure the plug is
unplugged from the wall outlet and the control knob is
on the “OFF” position.
Pull the head-lift lever up and raise the mixer head tilt it
locks.
To install the beater, whisk, or dough hook, push up the
accessories and turn anti-clockwise until it is securely
tightened.
Note: The accessories cannot be inserted in reverse
directions.
Fit the stainless steel bowl onto the stand mixer base by
holding the bowl handle and turn clockwise.
To put the mixer head back to its position, turn the head-
lift lever up. Slowly push down the mixer head until it
locks.
Note: The mixer will only operate when the mixer head is
fully secured back to its position.
Connect the mixer to the power supply. Always turn on
at the lower power level first then slowly turn to desired
level settings. To stop the mixer, turn the speed selector
to “OFF” position.
Warning: Do not place knife, metal spoon, fork and so on
into the bowl during the process of mixing.

CONTROL KNOB
Dough hook:
For making dough. Select speed “MIN” or “1”.
Whisk:
For egg, cream, butter, fatless sponges, cheesecake, etc,.
Select speed “5” to “MAX”.
Beater:
For cakes, biscuit, pastry, etc,. Select speed “3” to “4”.
To select the pulse function, turn the control knob anti-
clockwise until “P”. The mixer will run at maximum speed
when the knob is turned to this position. When the knob
is released it will return to the “OFF” position.
COOKING TIPS
1. Always turn off the power and scrape the ingredients in the bowl with spatula frequently.
2. Before whisking egg whites, make sure there are no grease or egg yolk on the whisk or
the bowl.
3. For making bread, never exceed the maximum capacities, otherwise it will overload the
appliance. If the appliance working abnormal, switch off the power and remove half of
the dough.
4. Ingredients such as butter and eggs should always be stored in the refrigerator to keep
its freshness before mixing begins.
5. To eliminate the possibility of shells or deteriorated eggs in your mixture, break eggs into
separate container first and then add it to the mixture.
6. Always start the process of mixing at lowest speed. Gradually increase to the
recommended speed as stated in the recipe.
TO USE THE SPLASH GUARD
Pull the head-lift lever up and raise the mixer head tilt it
locks.
To insert the splash guard, push the splash guard onto the
underside of the mixer head until it completely covers.
Install the accessories such as beater, whisk, and dough
hook and turn anti-clockwise until it securely tightened.
To put the mixer head back to its position, pull the head-
lift lever and slowly push down the mixer head.
During the mixing, ingredients can be added directly to
the bowl via the spout of the splash guard.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the appliance and wait until it completely cools off before cleaning.
Caution: the product body cannot be immersed in water or any other liquids.
2. Clean the product body and the base with a wet cloth and then wipe it with a soft dry
cloth.
3. Wipe any food particles at the power cord (if any) with dry cloth.
4. Immerse the beaters, dough hooks and stainless steel bowl in warm soapy water for
complete cleaning. Then rinse under running water and wipe dry.
