EKB3 is a keyboard intended to use with GSM alarm and management system ESIM264.
Main EKB3 keyboard functions are:

4. Operation description
WhenthesystemisdisarmedandoperatingnormallyitwilldisplaygreenLEDcalledREADY.Whenanyzoneisviolated,thegreen
LEDcalledREADYturnsoandtheredLEDwiththenumberofviolatedzoneshowsup.Systemsoundsignalerusestwotypeof
signals-threeshortbeepsandonelongbeep.Threeshortbeepsstandsforsuccessfulcompletetasksandonelongbeepstandsfor
unsuccessfulcompletetasks.Star(*)buttonstandsforcancel.
4.1 Arming-Disarming the system
Toarmthesecuritysystemuserhavetoenteravalidkeyboardpassword.Thesystemstartstocountthetimededicatedtoleavethe
premises.Theuserisinformedaboutthetimecountdownbyasoundsignal.Whensystemissuccessfularmed,theredLEDcalled
ARMEDdisplays.
Todisarmthesecuritysystemuserhavetoenteravalidkeyboardpassword.Whenusersentersintosecuredpremises,thesystem
startstocountthetimededicatedtoenterkeyboardpassword.Ifuserswillnoenteravalidkeyboardpassword–thesystemwillcause
analarm.Whensystemissuccessfuldisarmed,theredLEDcalledARMEDturnso.
4.2 System troubles
YellowLED calledSYSTEMindicatessystemtroubles.Tocheckthe specictroubleuse command[CODE#],whereCODEmeansa
buttonnamedCODE.Thesystemfor15secondsshowstroubleswithzonesredLEDindicators.Thespecictroublesaredisplayedin
the table below.

4.3 Bypassing zones
Tobypassanyzoneusethecommand[BYPSxxyyyy#],whereBYPS-meansabuttonnamedBYPS,xx–zonenumberandyyyy–key-
boardpassword.Usethesamecommandtoenablebypassedzones.Thezonecanbebypassedonlyfortemporaryperiodandafter
arming-disarmingthesystemitwillbeactiveagain.
4.3 Conguration commands
Tousecongurationcommandsuserhavetoenteradministratorcode.Administratorcodecanbeenteredtothesystemwithcom-
mand[*XXXX#],whereXXXX–administratorcode.WhenadministratorcodeisenteredsuccessfullytheredLEDcalledARMEDstarts
blinking.

Whenthisfunctionisenabled,thesystemreactstotheSMSmessages-commandsthatare
sentonlyfromregisteredtelephonenumbers.Ifthisfunctionisdisabled,thedevicecanbe
controlledbyalluserswhoknowthenumberoftheSIMcardinsertedinthedevice,control
commandsandthemainpassword.Factorydefaultsetting–enabled.
Whenthisfunctionisenabled,inthecaseofanalarm,thesystemsimultaneouslysends
SMSmessagestoallenteredusers.Bydefaultthisfunctionisdisabled.Whenthisfunction
isdisabled,SMSmessagesaredeliveredinasequencestartingwiththerstuser(User1).
Themessagewillbesenttothenextuseronlyinthecasethedevicedoesnotreceivea
conrmationaboutasuccessfulSMSmessagedeliverytotherstrecipient.
Whenthisfunctionisenabled,thesystemsendsinformationmessagestothemainuser
(User1)aboutarmed/disarmedsecuritysystem.Bydefaultthisfunctionisdisabled.
