OPERATION MODES, FUNCTIONS
AND FEATURES
SLEEP Designed to create comfortable sleepingconditions. When in COOLING mode,
the temperature rises one degree centigrade every hour, for to three hours, from
the start ofthe mode. The temperature rise prevents the feelingofover-cooling
while sleeping(when your body is at rest). In HEATING mode the reverse occurs;
the air conditioner lowers its temperature one-degree every hour. When in SLEEP
mode, the air conditioner will be automatically turned off after have operated for
seven hours. The result is amore comfortable and invigoratingsleep, which leaves
you feelingfresh and energetic on the next morning.
TIMER Real time control and display, automatically turns the air conditioner ON and
OFF accordingto the time ofday setting, ensuringcomfort conditions before
returninghome, without wastingelectricity. It turns the air conditioner off
automatically when sleeping.
HOT KEEP In HEATING and in AUTO FAN, the fan will be turned off when the compressor
is not in operation and will not be restarted, unless the indoor coil reaches
adequate temperature. This HOT KEEP feature prevents uncomfortable cold air
drafts. Use ofAUTO FAN is, therefore, recommended when the air conditioner
is in HEATING mode.
AUTO FAN The air conditioner automatically selects the FAN speed in accordance to with the
roomtemperature. At the start, the unit operates at high fan speed. As the room
air approaches to the desired temperature, the fan switches to alower speed for
quieter operation.
FAN Recirculates and filters the roomair. Maintains constant air movement in
the room.
DRYDehumidifies and softly cools the roomIn DRYMode, the air conditioner
operates at an inceased dehumidifyingpower. This function is recommended
to be used when temperature is rather lowbut the humidity is high.
AUTO Automatically switches fromCOOLING to HEATING or fromHEATING to
COOLING, maintainingthe desired temperature accordingto the roomconditions.
HEAT Heats and filters the roomair. Maintains the desired roomtemperature.
