1SafetyPrecautions
Themachineisnotintendedforusebypersons(includingchildren)withreducedphysical,sensoryor
mentalcapabilities,orlackofexperienceandknowledge,unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionor
instructionconcerninguseoftheappliancebyapersonresponsiblefortheirsafety.
Childrenshouldbesupervisedtoensurethattheydonotplaywiththemachine.
Themachineisnottobeusedifindustrialchemicalshavebeenusedforcleaning.
Donotdryunwasheditemsinthemachine.
Itemsthathavebeensoiledwithsubstancessuchascookingoil,acetone,alcohol,petrol,kerosene,spot
removers,turpentine,waxesandwaxremoversshouldbewashedinhotwaterwithanextraamount
ofdetergentbeforebeingdriedinthemachine.
Itemssuchasfoamrubber(latexfoam),showercaps,waterprooftextiles,rubberbackedarticlesand
clothesorpillowsttedwithfoamrubberpadsshouldnotbedriedinthemachine.
Fabricsoftenersorsimilarproductsshouldbeusedasspeciedbythefabricsoftenerinstructions.
Thenalpartofadryingcycleoccurswithoutheat(cooldowncycle)toensurethattheitemsareleftata
temperaturethatensuresthattheitemswillnotbedamaged.
Removeallobjectsfrompocketssuchaslightersandmatches.
WARNING.Neverstopthemachinebeforetheendofthedryingcycleunlessallitemsarequicklyremoved
andspreadoutsothattheheatisdissipated.
Adequateventilationhastobeprovidedtoavoidthebackowofgasesintotheroomforappliances
burningotherfuels,includingopenres.
Exhaustairmustnotbedischargedintoauewhichisusedforexhaustingfumesfromappliancesburning
gasorotherfuels.
Themachinemustnotbeinstalledbehindalockabledoor,aslidingdoororadoorwithahingeonthe
oppositesidetothatofthemachine.
Ifthemachinehasalinttrapthishastobecleanedfrequently.
Thelintmustnotbeaccumulatedaroundthemachine.
Gasheatedtumbledryer:
Themachineisnottobeinstalledinroomscontainingcleaningmachineswithperchloroethylene,
TRICHLOROETHYLENEorCHLOROFLUOROCONTAININGHYDROCARBONSascleaningagents.
Ifyoucansmellgas:
•Donotswitchonanyequipment
•Donotuseelectricalswitches
•Donotusetelephonesinthebuilding
•Evacuatetheroom,buildingorarea
•Contactthepersonresponsibleforthemachine
AllexternalequipmentwhichisconnectedtothemachinemustbeCE/EMC-approvedandconnectedusing
anapprovedshieldedcable.

Inordertopreventdamagetotheelectronics(andotherparts)thatmayoccurastheresultofcondensation,
themachineshouldbeplacedinroomtemperaturefor24hoursbeforebeingusedforthersttime.

Themachineisdeliveredcompletewithsupportingfeet.
Themachineisdeliveredboltedontothetransportpalletandpackedinacrateorbox.
Removepackingfromthemachine.
Removetheboltsbetweenthemachineandpallet.Therearetwoboltsinthefrontofthemachine
andtwointhebackofthemachine.Removethelowerfrontpanelandremovethetwoboltsin
thefrontofthemachine.Removethelowerbackpanelandremovethetwoboltsinthebackof
themachine.Remountthepanelswhendone.

6.1Airprinciple
Thefancreateslowpressureinthemachine,drawingairintothedrumviatheheatingunit.
Theheatedairpassesthroughthegarmentsandthedrumholes.
Theairthenowsouththroughalintlterpositionedbelowthedrum.Thentheairisevacuated
throughthefanandexhaustsystem.
Dimensionforairevacuation(A)is200mm.

Formaximumefciencyandtheshortestpossibledryingtime,itisimportanttoensurethatfreshair
isabletoentertheroomfromtheoutsideinthesamevolumeasthatblownoutoftheroom
Toavoiddraughtintheroomitisimportanttoplacetheairinletbehindthemachine.
Theareaoftheairinletopeningmustbevetimesthesizeoftheexhaustpipearea.The
areaoftheinletopeningistheareathroughwhichtheaircanowwithoutresistancefromthe
grating/slattedcover.

•Theductisnottobeassembledwithscrewsofotherfasteningmeansthatextendintothe
ductandcatchlint.
•Theexhaustairshouldnotbeventedintoawall,aceiling,oraconcealedspaceofbuilding.
•Theexhaustductmustleadclearofthebuildingascondensationmaycausefrostdamage
tothebuilding.
•Theexhaustductmustleadtotheoutdoors.
•Theexhaustductmustbeplacedinsuchawaythatitisprotectedontheoutside.
•Theexhaustductmustbesmoothontheinside(lowairresistance).
•Theexhaustductmusthavegentlebends.

Itisimportantthatthemachinehascorrectairvolumecomparedtoeachmachinespower.
Iftheairvolumeissmallerorbiggerthiswillresultinalongerdryingperiod.
Themachineisdesignedtoworkwith25moutletpipeandtwo90degreebends.Eachbendis
equalto2.5m.Ifmorethantwobendsisneededthelengthshouldmaximumbeshortenedwith
2.5mperbend.
Iftheoutletpipeislongerortheventilationisnotproperlydesignedwerecommendtocleanthe
outletpipesperiodically.
Theexhaustpipesshallbeshortinorderforthemachinetoworkinthebestway.
Allcoverplatesmustbemountedinorderforthemachinetoworkinthebestway.

•Thebranchpipe’smustbelocatedatthetopofthemainsteampipetopreventcondensationin
thesteam.
•Thebranchpipemusthaveadescendinggradientandmustendataheightabovetheinlet
connectingbranch(5).FormeasurementsM,NandO,pleaserefertothedimensiondrawing.
•Mountaplugvalve(a)andadirtcollector(c)inthebrachpipe.
