2. Using the manual button allows the unit to be switched on or off overriding the timer programmes. Setting on auto makes the programmes
run.

HOW TO WORK YOUR TIMER
1. Your Electrovision timer has a rechargeable backup battery that requires charging before use to protect your programmes when the power
is down or off. Plug the charger into a mains supply and leave to charge for 15 hours.
2. Using a sharp implement press the reset button. This will clear all information and settings from the timer.
3. The timer is now ready to be set up
SET TIME AND WEEKDAY
Day: Press and hold the clock button down. At the same time press the week button to cycle through the days of the week stopping when you
reach the right day.
Hour: Press and hold the clock button down. At the same time press the hour button to cycle through the hours of the day stopping when you
reach the right one.
Minutes: Press and hold the clock button down. At the same time press the minute button to cycle through the minutes of the hour stopping
when you reach the right one.
PROGRAMMING THE TIMER
Notes: Make sure when entering programmes they do not overlap. The timer will turn on or off according to the programme time and not by
programme number. Off has priority over on.
i.e. the programme uses all on times to switch on and all off times to switch off irrespective of the programme number.
1. Press PROG button and release. LCD shows O _1. The first O setting can be made now.
2. Press WEEK button to set the day or block of days. Set the time by pressing HOUR and MI UTE button.
3. Press PROG button again to finish the first O setting and enter into the first OFF setting. LCD shows OFF_1. Repeat step 2 to make the
first OFF setting.
4. Press PROG button again to finish the first OFF setting and enter into the 2nd O setting. Repeat 2 and 3 to program remaining
Settings. Press PROG button and hold for 2 seconds to enter fast advance.
5. After completing settings, press CLOCK button. The PROG is ready to operate.
EXAMPLE: timer O at 17:15 and OFF at 22:30 everyday
a. Press PROG once and release. LCD displays O _1
b. Press WEEK till LCD displays "MO,TU,WE,TH,FR,SA,SU"
c. Press HOUR till LCD displays 5:00PM or 17:00
d. Press MI UTE till LCD displays 5:15PM or 17:15
e. Press PROG again and release. LCD displays OFF_1
f. Repeat the above b,c and d till LCD displays "MO,TU,WE,TH,FR,SA,SU",10:30PM or 22:30
MANUAL ON/AUTO/MANUAL OFF SETTING
Operating modes can’t be changed during program settings.
1. Press MA UAL button to display the three modes in turn.
2. The programs can only be executed in AUTO mode. When AUTO is selected, the PROG operates as the programs. In MA UAL O or
MA UAL OFF mode all programs are ignored and the PROG doesn't operate. When MA UAL O mode is selected, power output is always
O . When MA UAL OFF mode is selected, power output is permanently off.
When the mode is turned from MA UAL O to AUTO, the timer will keep the setting of MA UAL O until to the next PROG setting.
BRITISH SUMMER TIMER FUNCTION
Hold CLOCK button down for 5 seconds. This will change the clock forward or backwards by one hour without having to reset the clock.
