Adapter manual
Insert adapter to t e device programmer ZIF socket according to t e picture placed near of it. If you ave
some doubts about orientation of t is adapter in device programmer ZIF socket, it is valid general rule, t e
orientation of t e text of title is t e same as t e text on t e top of t e device programmer.
Pus t e top of adapter ZIF socket to open it. Insert t e device into t e adapter ZIF socket. T e rig t position
of t e programmed device in adapter ZIF socket is s ow at picture near (mainly left above) t e adapter ZIF
socket. T en release adapter ZIF socket. If you use t is adapter for devices wit less t an 20 pins, t en place
device to t e bottom edge of adapter ZIFsocket. Upper contacts stay unconnected.
Visually c eck interconnection between device and adapter ZIF socket. If everyt ing looks OK, t e device is
ready for programming.
Be careful, because t e incorrect insertion of adapter to t e device programmer ZIF socket or device to t e
adapter ZIF socket can damage t e programmed device.
To take out t e device pus t e top of adapter ZIF socket and remove device from it.
W en you finis work wit adapter, remove it from t e device programmer ZIF socket.
Do not directly touc t e pins of t e adapter and adapter ZIF socket, because dirt may cause errors during
programming of device.
For andling wit t e device we recommended to use a vacuum pick up tool.
If programming yields isn't 100% w en using programming adapter or if some unreliability appears, try to
connect one 22nF-100nF multilayer capacitor (t at meet t e EIA X7R or Z5U specification) between leads of
adapter connected to pins VCC and GND pins of programmed c ip.

download t e latest version of software - Regular or OnDemand - from our web site.
