Il simbolo del cestino barrato riportato sull’apparecchio indica che il prodotto, alla fine della propria vita utile, dovendo essere trattato separatamente
dai rifiuti domestici, deve essere conferito in un centro di raccolta differenziata per apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche oppure riconsegnato al

Secondo la nuova Direttiva WEEE sostanze che da tempo sono utilizzate comunemente su apparecchi elettrici ed elettronici sono considerate sostanze
pericolose per le persone e l’ambiente. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchio dismesso al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo
smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è
composto il prodotto.
Il prodotto è conforme alla direttiva europea 2004/108/CE e successive.
Le seguenti informazioni di sicurezza sono parti integranti ed essenziali del prodotto e devono essere consegnate all’utilizzatore. Leggerle attentamente in
quanto forniscono importanti indicazioni riguardanti l’installazione, l’uso e la manutenzione. E’ necessario conservare il presente modulo e trasmetterlo ad
eventuali subentranti nell’uso dell’impianto. L’errata installazione o l’utilizzo improprio del prodotto può essere fonte di grave pericolo.
IMPORTANTE - INFORMAZIONI DI SICUREZZA
• L’installazione deve essere eseguita da personale professionalmente competente e in osservanza della legislazione nazionale ed europea vigente.
• Dopo aver tolto l’imballo assicurarsi dell’integrità dell’apparecchio, in caso di dubbio rivolgersi a personale qualicato.
Materiali d’imballaggio (cartone, sacchetti di plastica, graffe, polistirolo ecc.) devono essere smaltiti negli appositi contenitori e non devono essere dispersi
nell’ambiente soprattutto non devono essere lasciati alla portata dei bambini.
• La posa in opera, i collegamenti elettrici e le regolazioni devono essere effettuati a “Regola d’arte”, assicurarsi che i dati di targa siano rispondenti a quelli
della rete elettrica e accertare che la sezione dei cavi di collegamento sia idonea ai carichi applicati, in caso di dubbio rivolgersi a personale qualicato.
• Non installare il prodotto in ambienti a pericolo di esplosione o disturbati da campi elettromagnetici. La presenza di gas o fumi inammabili costituisce un
grave pericolo per la sicurezza.
• Prevedere sulla rete di alimentazione una protezione per extratensioni, un interruttore/ sezionatore e/o differenziale adeguati al prodotto e in conformità
alle normative vigenti.
• Indicare chiaramente sul cancello, porta, serranda o barriera che sono comandati a distanza mediante apposito cartello.
• La ELVOX s.p.a. non può essere considerata responsabile per eventuali danni causati qualora vengano installati dei dispositivi e/o componenti incompa-
tibili ai ni dell’integrità del prodotto, della sicurezza e del funzionamento.
• L’apparecchio dovrà essere destinato al solo uso per il quale è stato concepito, ogni altra applicazione è da considerarsi impropria e quindi pericolosa.
• Prima d’effettuare una qualsiasi operazione di pulizia o di manutenzione, disinserire l’apparecchio dalla rete, staccando la spina, o spegnendo l’interruttore
dell’impianto. Per la riparazione o sostituzione delle parti danneggiate, dovranno essere utilizzati esclusivamente ricambi originali.

Prima di procedere all’installazione dell’automatismo, controllare:
- le cerniere siano robuste e efcienti e che non vi siano forti attriti
- che la misura Y non sia superiore al valore indicato nella tabella delle quote di installazione. In tal caso è necessario intervenire sul pilastro in modo da
raggiungere tale misura
- la lunghezza dei cavi di alimentazione dei motoriduttore, non sia superiore ai 15 metri
- che ci siano presenti e ben ssate le battute d’arresto meccanico in chiusura.

Assemblaggio della staffa a pilastro:
Fissaggio del motoriduttore alla staffa a pilastro: Applicare il motoriduttore alla staffa :
- Svitare la vite F, quindi rimuovere il carter C
- Interporre la rondella R posandola sulla staffa
- Inlare il motoriduttore
- Bloccare il motoriduttore per mezzo della vite V e del dado ( non serrare troppo il dado , controllare la rotazione del motoriduttore non
deve presentare attriti)
Questa è la posizione corretta del perno per il ssaggio della staffa trascinamento anta, procedere come segue:

- Applicare la staffa trascinamento anta al perno del motoriduttore, bloccandola con la vite V, interponendo la rondella R1 e R2 come indicato nella gura
15. La rondella R1 liscia, va posizionata sopra la rondella R2 zigrinata. Si consiglia di lubricare il perno prima di inserirlo nella staffa di trascimnamento.
Portare l’anta in posizione di completa chiusura, vericare con una livella, che il motoriduttore sia in posizione perfettamente orizzontale, quindi segnare i
due punti per la foratura dell’anta
Il sistema di ssaggio deve essere scelto in base al materiale con cui è realizzata l’anta.
Sblocco per la movimentazione manuale del cancello :
Sbloccare il motoriduttore ruotando il coperchio circolare di 180°, quindi inserire la chiave di sblocco e ruotarla di 90°.

Ora il motoriduttore è sbloccato ed è possibile aprire e chiudere manualmente l’anta. Vericare con alcune manovre complete che la forcella scorra regolar-
mente su tutta la corsa.
Regolazione del necorsa meccanico:
sono presenti nel fondo del motoriduttore due fermi meccanici, uno per l’arresto dell’anta in apertura e uno per la chiusura. Con l’anta sbloccata , portare
l’anta nella posizione di apertura desiderata, allentare il fermo meccanico A e portarlo in appoggio al perno.
Portare l’anta nella posizione di chiusura, allentare il fermo meccanico B e portarlo in appoggio al perno.
Vericate con alcune manovre manuali di apertura e chiusura che il punto d’arresto dell’anta sia corretto.

Collegamento elettrico del motoriduttore : il cavo di collegamento alla centrale di comando deve avere una curvatura sufciente per seguire il movimento del
motoriduttore durane le manovre. Svitare il passacavo P, inlare il cavo attraverso il motoriduttore, quindi bloccare il passacavo.
Effettuare i collegamenti sul morsetto come indicato, rispettando le connessioni indicate.
Descrizione collegamento elettrico:
N.B.: il cavo di collegamento dell’encoder alla centrale di comando non deve superare i 10 m di lunghezza. Per lunghezze di cablaggio encoder superiori a
10 m e comunque non superiori a 15 m è necessario usare un cavo schermato

Operazione di sblocco manuale: girare la copertura di 180°, inserire la chiave e girare in senso antiorario di 90°, anta può essere spinta manualmente,
richiudere la copertura. Per bloccare nuovamente l’anta reinserire e girare la chiave in senso orario.
- In caso di mancata alimentazione di rete, la batteria tampone garantisce per un periodo limitato il funzionamento dell’automazione. In caso di batteria
scarica, o mancante, sbloccare manualmente il motore, aprire lo sportello, inserire la chiave di sblocco e girare in senso antiorario, si consiglia di portare
il cancello in posizione di completa apertura e riarmare lo sblocco girando la chiave in senso orario e chiude la copertura, questo per evitare movimenti
indesiderati del cancello (con l’attuatore sbloccato l’anta è libera nel movimento, questo potrebbe causare danni a cose o persone). Una volta ristabilita
l’alimentazione la scheda elettronica provvederà a ricaricare la batteria tampone e il cancello ritornerà al funzionamento normale, dopo un impulso di
comando.
ATTENZIONE: Eseguire l’operazione di sblocco e riarmo a cancello fermo.
Manutenzione: controllare periodicamente le viti di fissaggio, l’integrità dei cavi di collegamento, il corretto funzionamento dei sistemi di sicurezza ( fotocellule
e bordi sensibili), la solidità dei fermi meccanici e la tenuta dei sistemi per il sostegno dell’anta (cardini o cuscinetti). Ogni 2 anni si consiglia di sostituire le
batterie del radiocomando.
Se attiva la funzione di richiusura automatica (quando il cancello è fermo ed aperto il lampeggiante resta acceso per 3 secondi) dopo il tempo impostato il
cancello si richiude, e possibile disattivare questa funzione premendo il tasto del radiocomando prima che il cancello arrivi alla completa apertura, se attiva
la funzione sequenziale apre-stop-chiude.
Nel caso il cancello trovi un ostacolo in chiusura ed è attiva la richiusura automatica, la centrale esegue 2 tentativi di chiusura, dopo di che resta
aperto, è necessario togliere l’ostacolo presente lunga la corsa e dare un comando con il radiocomando, il cancello si richiude a velocità rallentata.

The crossed out bin symbol on the appliance indicates that the product, at the end of its useful working life, must be disposed of separately from nor-
mal household waste, and as such must be taken to a waste sorting and recycling centre equipped to deal with electric and electronic equipment, or
returned to the dealer when a new appliance of the same type is purchased.

IMPORTANT - SAFETY INFORMATION
• Installation must be performed by professionally qualied personnel in observance of current national and European legislation.
• After removing the packaging check the condition of the device. If in doubt, consult a qualied technician.
Packaging materials (carton, plastic bags, staples, polystyrene, etc.) must be disposed of in suitable containers and must not be dispersed into the envi-
ronment. Above all they must be kept out of the reach of children.
• The installation, electrical connections and settings must be executed in accordance with sound engineering practice. Make certain that the data on the
data plate conform with the mains electrical supply data and make certain that the section of the connection cables is suitable for the loads applied.
• Do not install the product in environments where there is a risk of explosion or which are disturbed by electromagnetic elds. The presence of ammable
gases or fumes constitutes a serious hazard.
• Equip the mains supply with a suitable overvoltage protection device, a switch/disconnector and/or differential for the product and in conformity with the

Limitations of use
Before installing the automation, check that:
- the hinges are sturdy and efcient and there is no strong friction
- the measurement Y is no greater than the value shown in the table of installation dimensions. In this case it is necessary to work on the cable riser in
order to reach this measurement
- the length of the gear motor power supply cables does not exceed 15 metres
- there are the mechanical stops for closing which are properly secured.

Assembling the pillar bracket:
Securing the gearmotor to the pillar bracket:
Fit the gearmotor to the bracket:
- Unscrew the screw F, then remove the casing C
- Insert the washer R putting it on the bracket
- Insert the gearmotor
- Lock the gearmotor with the screw V and nut (do not overtighten the nut, check the rotation of the gearmotor that must have no friction)
This is the correct position of the pin for fastening the gate leaf drive bracket, proceed as follows:

- Fit the gate leaf drive bracket to the pin of the gearmotor, locking it with the screw V, placing washer R1 and R2 in between as shown in Figure 15. The
smooth washer R1, has to be placed above the knurled washer R2. It is recommended to lubricate the pin before inserting it into the drive bracket.
Move the gate leaf into the fully closed position, check with a spirit level that the gearmotor is in a perfectly horizontal position, then mark the two points for
drilling the gate leaf
The fastening system must be chosen according to the material of which the gate leaf is made.
Unlocking for manual gate movement:
Unlock the gearmotor by rotating the circular cover 180°, then insert the release key and turn it 90°.

Now the gearmotor is unlocked and you can open and close the gate leaf manually. Check with some complete movements that the fork runs smoothly along
its full travel.
Adjusting the mechanical limit stop:
In the bottom of the gearmotor there are two mechanical stops, one for stopping the gate leaf on opening and one for closing. With the gate leaf unlocked,
move the gate leaf into the required open position, loosen the mechanical stop A and take it to rest on the pin.
Move the gate leaf into the closed position, loosen the mechanical stop B and take it to rest on the pin.
Check with some manual opening and closing movements that the gate leaf stops at the correct point.

Electrical connection of the gearmotor: the connecting cable to the control unit must have a sufcient curvature to follow the movement of the gearmotor
during operation. Unscrew the cable grommet P, insert the cable through the gearmotor, and then lock the cable grommet.
Make the connections on the terminal as indicated, respecting the connections shown.
Description of electrical connection:
NB: the cable connecting the encoder to the control unit must not exceed 10 m in length. For lengths of wiring encoders exceeding
10 m but not exceeding 15 m you must use a shielded cable

Manual unlocking operation: turn the cover 180°, insert the key and turn 90° anticlockwise, the gate leaf can be pushed manually, close the cover. To re-lock
the gate leaf, insert and turn the key clockwise.
- In the event of mains power failure, the back-up battery ensures the operation of the automation system for a limited period. Should the battery be flat
or missing, manually unlock the motor, open the door, insert the unlocking key and turn anticlockwise; it is advisable to move the gate into the fully open
position and reset unlocking by turning the key clockwise and close the cover, which is to prevent any unwanted movement of the gate (with the operator
unlocked the gate leaf is free to move, which could cause damage to property or persons). Once the power supply is restored, the electronic board will
charge the back-up battery and the gate will return to normal operation after a command pulse.
CAUTION: Unlock and reset with the gate stationary.
Maintenance: Periodically check the fixing screws, the integrity of the connecting cables, the correct functioning of the safety systems (photocells and sen-
sitive edges), the robustness of the mechanical stops and the soundness of the systems for supporting the gate leaf (hinges or bearings). Every 2 years it is
recommended to replace the batteries in the remote control.
If the automatic closing function is active (when the gate is stationary and open the flashing light stays on for 3 seconds) the gate closes after the set time.
You can disable this function by pressing the button on the remote control before the gate reaches the fully open position. If the sequential function is active
it opens-stops-closes.
If the gate meets an obstacle on closing, and automatic closing is active, the control unit makes 2 attempts at closing, after which it remains open.
It is necessary to remove the obstacle from its path and control the gate with the remote control so that it closes at low speed.
