2.0 (NL) Waar plaats je de EM4591 WiFi-
repeater met WPS?
De beste locatie waar je de EM4591 kunt plaatsen, is ongeveer halverwege je
draadloze router en je draadloze computer die het minst goede draadloze bereik
heeft. Op deze manier wordt de signaalsterkte voor de betreffende computer(s) zo
goed mogelijk. Zie ook de volgende afbeeldingen:
Tip: Voordat je de EM4591 op de uiteindelijke plek neerzet, dien je het apparaat in te
stellen. Dit kun je het beste doen als de EM4591 dichtbij je draadloze router staat.
Zodra het instellen van de EM4591 is gedaan, kun je de EM4591 op de uiteindelijk
plek neerzetten. Zie bovenstaande afbeelding om met behulp van de signaal indicator
de beste plaats te bepalen.

3.0 (NL) De EM4591 instellen met behulp van
de WPS knop
1. Controleer voor je begint, of je draadloze router een WPS knop heeft. Controleer
tevens of je draadloze router een werkende internetverbinding heeft.
2. Sluit de EM4591 op een stopcontact aan.
3. Wacht totdat de LED groen is (knippert)
4. Druk maximaal 3 seconden* op de WPS knop van je draadloze router.
5. Druk gedurende 5 seconden op de WPS knop van de EM4591. Raadpleeg de
volgende afbeelding voor de locatie van de WPS knop op de EM4591:
6. De verbinding tussen je draadloze router en de EM4591 wordt dan automatisch
tot stand gebracht. (Dit duurt ongeveer 1 minuut inclusief het herstarten). De
signaal indicator stopt met knipperen en geeft de signaal sterkte weer.
*Raadpleeg de handleiding van je draadloze router om te achterhalen hoe lang je de
WPS knop in dient te drukken. Dit kan per merk en model variëren.
Let op: Als de WPS knop wordt gebruikt, dan wordt het SSID en de beveiliging van je
draadloze router op de EM4591 overgenomen. Er zijn ook een aantal routers die een
ander SSID aannemen wanneer WPS wordt gebruikt. In de volgende stappen is het
gebruikte SSID van de draadloze router ‘Eminent’ genaamd.

4.0 (NL) Een draadloze WPS adapter met de
EM4591 verbinden
1. Druk gedurende 2- 3 seconden op de WPS knop van de EM4591.
2. Druk nu op de WPS knop van je draadloze adapter.
3. Als het goed is, wordt er nu een verbinding tot stand gebracht tussen de
draadloze WPS adapter en de EM4591. Afhankelijk van de Windows versie die je
gebruikt, zie je dan een ‘verbonden’ icoontje in de taakbalk.
Let op: Sommige draadloze adapters kunnen alleen een WPS verbinding opzetten
indien er gebruik wordt gemaakt van de software die bij de WPS adapter is
bijgeleverd. Raadpleeg de handleiding van je draadloze WPS adapter voor meer
informatie.
5.0 (NL) De EM4591 handmatig instellen
Het is mogelijk om de EM4591 handmatig in te stellen, in plaats van automatisch te
configureren met de WPS knop. Als je de EM4591 handmatig wilt instellen volg dan
de volgende stappen:
1. Sluit de EM4591 op een stopcontact aan.
2. Wacht totdat de signaal indicator groen is.
3. Maak een verbinding met de EM4591 bedraad of draadloos via SSID Eminent-
repeater
4. Open de webbrowser van je computer/tablet/smartphone
5. De browser start nu automatisch het configuratiescherm van de EM4591 op
(gebeurt dit niet, vul dan het volgende in de adresbalk van je internet browser in
‘http://10.0.10.254’. Druk daarna op de ‘Enter’ knop.
6. Klik op “Quick Connect” zoals hieronder wordt aangegeven.
7. De eerste stap van de wizard wordt weergegeven, hier kun je aangeven met
welke draadloze verbinding je de repeater wilt verbinden klik op om deze te
selecteren.

8. In de volgende stap dien je het wachtwoord van het beveiligde netwerk in te
vullen.
9. Klik op ‘Apply’ om de instellingen op te slaan en toe te passen.
10. Wanneer de instellingen zijn toegepast zal de EM4591 herstarten en verbinding
maken met het draadloos netwerk. Dit kun je controleren door opnieuw in te
loggen met de browser en op “Device status” te klikken je krijgt dan onderstaande
afbeelding te zien.
LET OP: De EM4591 neemt de instellingen van de draadloze router over wanneer
deze met WPS wordt verbonden.

11. Je kunt nu verbinding maken met de EM4591 zoals beschreven in hoofdstuk 4.0
Een draadloze WPS adapter met de EM4591 verbinden, of door te verbinden met
het draadloos netwerk en handmatig de netwerk sleutel in te voeren.
2.0 (EN) Where to place the EM4591 wireless
WPS repeater?
The best location to place the EM4591 is approximately half-way between your
wireless router and your wireless computer(s) which has/have the weakest wireless
reception. This way, the signal strength will be as good as possible. Refer to the
following images for an example:

Hint: Before placing the EM4591 on its destined location, the device needs to be
setup. Setting up the EM4591 wireless repeater can be done best, if the EM4591 is
located near your wireless router. After setting up the EM4591, you can place the
EM4591 at a location defined by using the signal indicator LEDs and the
recommended setup as described previously.
3.0 (EN) Configure the wireless repeater
using the WPS button
1. Please check if your wireless router has a WPS button. Also, check whether your
wireless router has a properly configured internet connection.
2. Connect the EM4591 to a wall outlet.
3. Wait for the LED to turn green (flashing).
4. Press the WPS button on your wireless router for approximately 3 seconds*.
5. Now press the WPS button on the EM4591 Wireless Repeater for approximately 5
seconds. Refer to the following image for the WPS button:

6. The connection between your wireless router and the EM4591 wireless repeater
will be established automatically (this will take approx. 1 minute including reboot).
The signal indicator will stop flashing and indicate the signal strength.
*Refer to the manual of your wireless router for the exact duration of pressing the
WPS button. This can differ from brand or model.
Note: If the WPS button is used, the SSID and network key are the same as used on
your wireless router. Some WPS routers will change their original SSID to another
SSID if WPS is used. In this installation guide, the SSID of the wireless router is
‘Eminent’.
4.0 (EN) Connecting a wireless WPS adapter
to the EM4591
1. Press the WPS button on the EM4591 for about 2-3 seconds.
2. Now press the WPS button on your wireless adapter.
3. If correct, the connection between the wireless WPS adapter and EM4591 will be
established. Depending on the Windows version you are using, you should see a
connected icon in the taskbar.
Note: Some wireless WPS adapters require the use of the supplied software to create
a WPS connection. Refer to the manual of your wireless WPS adapter for more
information.

5.0 (EN) Configuring the EM4591 manually
It is possible to configure the repeater manually instead of using the WPS button. If
you want to configure the repeater manually:
1. Connect the EM4591 to a wall outlet.
2. Wait for the signal indicator to turn green.
3. Connect to the EM4591 WiFi SSID Eminent_repeater or Ethernet cable.
4. Launch the internet browser from your computer/tabet/smart phone.
5. You will be redirected to the EM4591 repeater’s user interface. (If in any case it
doesn’t, type http://10.0.10.254 in your internet browser and then hit Enter.
6. Click “Quick connect” as shown in the following image:
7. The first step of the wizard appears, where you need to select the wireless
network you wish to connect to by clicking as shown in the following image:
8. In the next step you will need to enter the WPA Passphrase of the Wi-Fi network
you wish to connect to.

9. Click ‘Apply’ to save and apply the configuration.
10. After the settings have been applied, the EM4591 will reboot and connect to your
wireless router. You can verify the connection by entering the GUI via the browser
and clicking “Device Status”. Here, you can check whether a connection has been
established. Refer to the following image.
Note: The EM4591 will copy the Wireless encryption settings of the router it is
connected with via WPS.
11. You can now connect your wireless network adapter(s) to the EM4591 as
described in chapter ‘Connecting a wireless WPS adapter to the EM4591’, or by
connecting to the Wi-Fi connection and entering the wireless encryption key of the
wireless network you previously connected.

2.0 (FR) Où placer le répéteur wifi WPS
EM4591 ?
Le meilleur endroit pour placer le EM4591 est à peu près à mi-chemin entre votre
routeur wifi et le ou les ordinateurs wifi qui présentent la réception wifi la plus faible.
De cette façon, la force du signal sera aussi bonne que possible. Regardez l'exemple

Conseil : Avant de placer le EM4591 à l'emplacement choisi, l'appareil doit être
configuré. La configuration du répéteur wifi EM4591 est plus facile à réaliser s'il est
placé à proximité de votre routeur wifi. Après configuration de l'EM4591, vous pouvez
le placer à un emplacement défini en utilisant les DEL de signal et en suivant la
configuration conseillée décrite précédemment.

3.0 (FR) Configurer le répéteur wifi à l'aide du
bouton WPS
1. Commencez par vérifier que votre routeur wifi dispose d'un bouton WPS. Vérifiez
également si ce routeur dispose d'une connexion Internet correctement
configurée.
2. Raccordez le EM4591 à une prise secteur.
3. Attendez que la DEL passe au vert (en clignotant).
4. Appuyez sur le bouton WPS de votre routeur wifi pendant environ 3 secondes*.
5. Appuyez maintenant sur le bouton WPS de votre répéteur wifi EM4591 pendant 5
secondes. Reportez-vous à l'illustration suivante pour localiser le bouton WPS :
6. La connexion entre le routeur wifi et le répéteur wifi EM4591 s'établit
automatiquement. (ceci prendra environ 1 minute, redémarrage compris). Le
voyant de signal cessera des clignoter et indiquera la puissance du signal.
* Reportez-vous au manuel de votre routeur wifi pour trouver la durée exacte pendant
laquelle vous devez appuyer sur le bouton WPS. Cette durée peut varier d'une
marque ou d'un modèle à l'autre.
Remarque : Le vous utilisez le bouton WPS, le SSID et la clé du réseau seront les
mêmes que ceux utilisés sur le routeur wifi. Certains routeurs WPS modifient leur
SSID original pour un autre lorsque le WPS est utilisé. Dans ce guide d'installation, le
SSID du routeur wifi est considéré comme étant 'Eminent'.

4.0 (FR) Connecter un adaptateur WPS wifi au
EM4591
1. Appuyez sur le bouton WPS sur le EM4591 pendant environ 2 à 3 secondes.
2. Maintenant appuyez sur le bouton WPS de votre adaptateur wifi.
3. Si tout est correct, la connexion s'établit entre l'adaptateur WPS wifi et le EM4591.
En fonction de la version Windows que vous utilisez, vous devez voir apparaître
une icône de connexion dans la barre des tâches.
Remarque : Certains adaptateurs WPS wifi nécessitent l'utilisation de leur propre
logiciel pour établir la connexion WPS. Reportez-vous au manuel de votre adaptateur
WPS wifi pour plus de détails.
5.0 (FR) Configurer manuellement le EM4591
Il est possible de configurer le répéteur manuellement au lieu d'utiliser le bouton WPS.
Si vous souhaitez configurer le répéteur manuellement :
1. Raccordez le EM4591 à une prise secteur.
2. Attendez que le voyant de signal passe au vert.
3. Connectez-vous au réseau WiFi EM4591 SSID Eminent_repeater ou au câble
Ethernet.
4. Lancez un navigateur Web sur votre ordinateur/tablette/smartphone.
5. Vous accéderez à l'interface utilisateur du répéteur EM4591. (Si ce n'est pas le
cas, saisissez http://10.0.10.254 dans votre navigateur Web et appuyez sur
Entrée.
6. Cliquez sur « Connexion rapide » comme illustré ci-dessous :
7. La première étape de l'assistant s'affiche dans laquelle vous devez sélectionner le
réseau sans fil auquel vous connecter en cliquant sur comme illustré ci-
dessous :

8. Lors de l'étape suivante, vous devrez entrer le mot de passe WPA du réseau Wi-
Fi auquel vous vous connectez.
9. Cliquez sur « Apply » pour enregistrer et appliquer vos réglages.
10. Une fois les réglages appliqués, l'EM4591 redémarrera et se connectera à votre
routeur sans fil. Vous pouvez vérifier cette connexion en accédant à l'interface
utilisateur du navigateur et en cliquant sur « État de l'appareil ». Vous pouvez y
vérifier qu'une connexion a bien été établie. Référez-vous à l'image ci-dessous.
Remarque : l'EM4591 copiera les réglages de cryptage sans fil du routeur connecté
via WPS.

11. Vous pouvez maintenant connecter votre ou vos adaptateurs réseau wifi au
EM4591 comme décrit dans le chapitre « Connecter un adaptateur WPS sans fil
au EM4591 » ou en vous connectant au réseau Wi-Fi et en saisissant la clé du
réseau sans fil auquel vous avez accédé avant.
2.0 (ES) ¿Dónde colocar el repetidor WPS

Sugerencia: antes de colocar el repetidor EM4591 en su ubicación de destino, es
necesario configurar el dispositivo. La configuración del repetidor inalámbrico EM4591
se puede realizar mejor si se coloca cerca del enrutador inalámbrico. Después de
configurar el dispositivo EM4591, podrá colocarlo en un lugar que haya definido
previamente con los indicadores LED de señal y realizar la configuración
recomendada que se describe anteriormente.
3.0 (ES) Configurar el enrutador inalámbrico
mediante el botón WPS
1. Compruebe si el enrutador inalámbrico tiene un botón WPS. Asimismo,
compruebe si el enrutador inalámbrico tiene una conexión a Internet
correctamente configurada.
2. Conecte el enrutador EM4591 a una toma de corriente eléctrica.
3. Espere a que todos los indicadores LED parpadeen en verde.
4. Presione el botón WPS del enrutador inalámbrico durante 3 segundos*
aproximadamente.
5. Ahora, presione el botón WPS del repetidor inalámbrico EM4591 durante 5
segundos aproximadamente. Consulte la imagen siguiente para el botón WPS:

6. La conexión entre el enrutador inalámbrico y el repetidor inalámbrico EM4591 se
establecerá automáticamente. (este proceso tardará aproximadamente 1 minuto,
incluyendo el reinicio). El indicador de señal dejará de parpadear e indicará la
intensidad de la señal.
*Consulte el manual del enrutador inalámbrico para saber con exactitud el tiempo que
tiene que presionar el botón WPS. Este tiempo puede ser diferente en función de la
marca o modelo.
Nota: si se utiliza el botón WPS, el SSID y la clave de la red serán las mismas que las
utilizadas en el enrutador inalámbrico. Algunos enrutadores WPS cambiarán su SSID
original a otro SSID si se utiliza WPS. En esta guía de instalación, el SSID del
enrutador inalámbrico es ‘Eminent’.
4.0 (ES) Conectar un adaptador WPS
inalámbrico al repetidor EM4591
1. Presione el botón WPS del repetidor EM4591 durante 2-3 segundos
aproximadamente.
2. Ahora presione el botón WPS del adaptador inalámbrico.
3. Si todo va bien, se establecerá la conexión entre el adaptador WPS inalámbrico y
el enrutador EM4591. Dependiendo de la versión de Windows que utilice, debe
ver un icono de conexión en la barra de tareas.
Nota: algunos adaptadores WPS inalámbricos necesitan el uso de un software
proporcionado para crear una conexión WPS. Consulte el manual del adaptador WPS
