• Topreventaccidentsandinjurytoyourordamagetotheunit–whenyour
PediSmoothisinuse,keepitawayfromthehaironyourscalp,youreyebrows,
eyelashes,aswellasclothes,brushes,wires,cords,shoelacesetc.
• Iftheapplianceisnottobeusedforlongperiods,removethebatteriesbefore
storing.
• Oncethebatteriesaredead,removeimmediatelyandreplace.
• Asthisisapersonalcareproduct,werecommendthatitisusedbyonepersononly.
• Thisapplianceisnotintendedforusebypersons(includingchildren)withreduced
physical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledge,unless

BeforeusingyourEmjoiPediSmooth,pleasereadthis
instructionmanualcarefullyandcompletely.
Inserting the batteries
•Removethebatterycover(atthebaseofthe
handle)byturningit90degreestotheleft
untilitclicksintoplace(fig.1)andthen
pullitdown(fig.2)
•Insert2xAAbatteriesinthebattery
compartment.Theimagesontheback
oftheunitindicatethecorrectbattery
direction.
•Closethebatterycoverbyturningit90
degreestotherightuntilitclicksintoplace.

NOTE: The Emjoi®PediSmooth is ONLY for use
on the feet and heels. Do not use this device
anywhere else on the body.
Only use PediSmooth on dry skin.

Do not use on broken or bleeding skin.
•Ensurethattheskiniscleananddry.
•SelectthePediSmoothrolleryouwanttouseandplaceitinto
theunit.Seethe‘ChangingthePediSmoothRoller’sectionfor
instructionsonhowtoremoveandreplacetheroller.
•Thereare2typesofPediSmoothRollersavailabletocustomise
yourresults:
– Whiteforextracoarseskin
– Pinkforcoarseskin
•Removetheprotectivecoverfromtheunitanditisreadytouse
•Toturntheuniton,firmlypressthesafetyswitchinthecentre
oftheOn/Offswitchandatthesametimeslideitupwards.
•Gentlyrotatetheunit(backandforthorsidetoside)overthe
callous/corn/hardskinareafor2-3seconds.
•Donotpresshard–gentlyglidetheunitoverthedesiredareaor
theunitwillstopifitispressedtoohardontheskin.
•Turntheunitoffandcheckifyouhaveachievedthedesired
resultinthatarea.Ifnot,turntheunitonandgooverthearea
for2-3moresecondsandcheckagain.Continuetousethis
methoduntilthedesiredlevelofsmoothnessisachieved.
Warning: Stop if the skin becomes sore or inflamed.
Warning: Do not use on skin for more than 2-3 seconds at a time.

•Toturntheunitoff,slidetheOn/Offswitchdownwards.
•Rinsetheskinoruseawettoweltogetridoftheexcess
deadparticles.
•TocleantheEmjoiPediSmooth,seethe‘CareandCleaning’
sectionorusethecleaningbrushprovided.
•Keeptheprotectivecoveronyourunitwhenitisnotinuse.
Replacing the batteries
•Toreplacebatteries,removethebatterycoverthenremove
theoldbatteriesandreplacethemwithnewbatteries.
Makesurethatyouinsertbatteriesintoyourdeviceproperly,
withthe+(plus)and–(minus)terminalsalignedcorrectly.
•Replacethebatterycover.
•IfAlkalinebatteriesareused,theycanbesafelydisposed
ofwithnormalhouseholdwastewhenexhausted.Ifunsure,
contactyourlocalcouncilwithregardstothebatterydisposal
practiceinyourarea.Neverdisposeofbatteriesinfireas
theycouldexplode.
•Alwaysweareyeprotectionandgloveswhendealingwith
leakingbatteries.

Changing the PediSmooth Rollers
•ThePediSmoothrollercontainsfragileparts,pleasehandle
themwithcare.
•Pleasetakeextracarewhenreplacingthe
PediSmoothroller.
•Pedismoothrollersthatarebrokenorworn
couldcausedamagetotheskin.
•ChangethePediSmoothrollerasneededfor
bestresult.Thelifeoftherollersdepend
onfrequencyofuseandsizeofareabeing
treated.Replaceasneeded.
•ReplacetheEmjoi®PediSmoothrollerwhen
youfindanydefectstotherollerorwhen
youfindthemlesseffective.
•Makesuretheunitisturnedoffbefore
replacingthePedismoothroller.

(fig.5)bypressingthebottomwithyour
pointerfingerandcatchingitinthepalm
ofyouroppositehand.
4.PlacethereplacementPediSmoothroller
intotheunituntilyouheara‘click’sound.
BesuretoinsertthenewPediSmoothroller
intotheunitwiththethinnersidegoing
intotheunit(fig.6&7)
5.AfterplacinganewPediSmoothroller
intotheunitcheckthatithasbeenfirmly
installedwithnosignsofshakyorloose
parts.

TheEmjoi®PediSmoothiswaterresistant.Itcanberinsed
underwaterforcleaningbutitisnotwaterproof.Donot
submergetheunitintowaterasthismaycausedefectsto
theunit.
NOTE: PediSmooth rollers should not be placed into water.

3.Rinsetheunitunderthetapfor5-8seconds.Wipethebody
oftheunitwithacleandrycloth.
4.Replacetheprotectivecover.
5.Alternativelyforquickcleaningaftereachuse,brushthe
deadskinfromtheunitandrollersusingthecleaningbrush
supplied.
