ALLGEMEIN
Die Omnio Aktoren (Empfänger) werden über
Funksignale der Omnio Sender angesteuert. Jeder
Sender kann eine unbegrenzte Anzahl von Aktoren
ansteuern. Die Funksender werden manuell durch ein
einfaches Verfahren auf den Aktor ein- und ausgelernt.
Jedem Sender können am Aktor eine Funktion und
verschiedenste Parameter zugeordnet werden.
Mit ARCO-Technologie (AWAG Remote Commissio-
ning for Omnio) lassen sich alle Omnio Aktoren
vollständig und ohne manuellen Zugriff zum Gerät per
Funk konfigurieren. Die leistungsstarke Software E-
Tool bildet dabei das Herzstück, um Projekte
beliebiger Grösse bequem am Schreibtisch zu planen,
konfigurieren und dokumentieren.
GENERAL
The Omnio actuators (receivers) are controlled by
radio signals coming from the Omnio transmitters.
Each transmitter is able to control an unlimited amount
of actuators. The radio transmitter can be manually
programmed and deprogrammed to an actuator by
following a simple procedure. Via actuator each
transmitter can be given a certain function and
different parameters.
With ARCO technology (AWAG Remote Commissio-
ning for Omnio), all Omnio actuators can be configured
completely by radio without manual access to the
device. The powerful software E-Tool constitutes the
key component for convenient planning, configuring
and documenting projects right at your desk.
PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Der Omnio Fensterkontakt 1-Kanal FK101 ist ein batterieloser und wartungsfreier
Funksender zur Zustandsüberwachung von Fenstern und Türen. Typische
Anwendungsbeispiele sind unter anderem die Heizung bei offenem Fenster
ausschalten oder die Jalousien bei offener Schiebetüre hochfahren. Der
Fensterkontakt FK101 besteht aus dem Sendemodul mit Solarzelle und einem
kleinen Gegenmagnet. Er ist geeignet zur Montage an Fenster- und Türrahmen
aus Holz, Glas und Aluminium. Bei widrigen Lichtverhältnissen am Montageort ist
ein Modell mit zusätzlicherStützbatterie erhältlich.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Omnio window contact 1-channel FK101 is a battery-less and maintenance-
free radio transmitter to monitor the condition of windows and doors. Typical
application examples can be to turn off the heating while windows are open or to
raise the blinds when sliding door opens. The window contact FK101 consists of a
transmitter module driven by its own solar cell and a small counter magnet and
can be fixed on window- and door frames made of wood, glass and aluminium. If
lighting conditions on site are insufficient place the model with additional back-up
battery.
BEDIENELEMENTE
Der Omnio Fensterkontakt 1-Kanal FK101 ist mit
einem Magnet-Reedkontakt ausgestattet. Bei einer
Zustandsänderung des Reedkontaktes wird ein Funk-
signal ausgesendet.
Um den Fensterkontakt in Omnio Aktoren einzulernen,
besitzt er eine LRN-Taste, welche durch ein rundes
Loch auf der Gehäuserückseite zugänglich ist.
OPERATING ELEMENTS
The Omnio window contact 1-channel FK101 is
equipped with a magnet reed contact. A change of the
reed contact status will wake the transmitter unit to
send a radio telegram immediately.
To program the window contact into Omnio actuators,
there’s a LRN-button which is accessible through a
round hole on the backside of the housing.
STROMVERSORGUNG
Der Omnio Fensterkontakt 1-Kanal FK101 ist dank eingebauter Solarzelle
energieautark. Für den Normalbetrieb benötigt er während drei Stunden am Tag
eine Beleuchtungsstärke von 300 Lux, ein Wert, welcher in normal bewohnten
Räumen problemlos erreicht wird. Im Notfall hält ein interner Pufferkondensator
die Energieversorgung maximal sechs Tage lang aufrecht. Bei ungünstiger
Montageumgebung oder langer Abwesenheit ist ein Modell mit zusätzlicher
Stützbatterie erhältlich.
POWER SUPPLY
The Omnio window contact 1-channel FK101 is equipped with a solar-cell and
therefore works energy self-sufficient. For normal operation it needs no more than
three hours of 300 lux illumination per day, a value easily achieved in normal
occupied rooms. In case of an emergency the internal capacitor is able to buffer
the power supply up to six days. If you are out of the house for a longer time or
the sensor is placed in an awkward surrounding (no light), a model with additional
back-up battery is available.

REICHWEITE
Die Signalstärke der Funktelegramme nimmt mit zunehmender Entfernung
zwischen Sender und Empfänger ab. Bei Sichtverbindung beträgt die Reichweite
etwa 30 m in Gängen und bis zu 100 m in Hallen, während sie in Gebäuden sehr
stark vom Montageort, von den örtlichen Gegebenheiten sowie den eingesetzten
Baumaterialien abhängt. Die folgende Tabelle zeigt typische Richtwerte für die zu
erwartende maximale Reichweite:
Gipskarton, trockenes Holz: 30 m (max. 5 Wände)
Mauerwerk: 20 m (max. 3 Wände)
Stahlbeton: 10 m (max. 1 Wand oder Decke)
Wärmeisolierende Fenster: 5 m (max. 1 Fenster)
TRANSMISSION RANGE
The signal strength of the radio telegrams decreases with increasing distance
between transmitter and receiver. Line-of-sight connections are typically 30 m in
corridors, and up to 100 m in halls, whereas in buildings the transmission range
strongly depends on the installation location, the local conditions and the building
materials used. The following figures for expected transmission range are
considered, they should be treated as a rough guide only:
Plasterboard walls, dry wood: 30 m (max. 5 walls)
Masonry: 20 m (max. 3 walls)
Ferroconcrete: 10 m (max. 1 walls or ceilings)
Heat-insulating windows: 5 m (max. 1 windows)
INSTALLATION
Das Gerät ist für Installation in trockenen Innenräumen unter Einhaltung der
technischen Daten und gängigen Sicherheitsvorschriften bestimmt. Es sollte nicht
auf Flächen aus Metall oder in deren Nähe angebracht werden, ebenso ist eine
bodennahe Montage zu vermeiden. Zu hochfrequenten Störquellen wie Computer
oder elektronischen Vorschaltgeräten muss ein Mindestabstand von 0.5 m
eingehalten werden.
Der Omnio Fensterkontakt 1-Kanal FK101 ist für die Innenmontage an Fenster-
und Türrahmen vorgesehen. Dabei ist auf eine günstige Lichtumgebung ohne
Schatten zu achten.
Der Fensterkontakt besteht aus der Grundplatte und dem Gehäuse mit der
Elektronik. Die Grundplatte durch seitliches Eindrücken der vier Schnapper mit
einem Schraubendreher Grösse 1 vom Gehäuse lösen. Die Grundplatte auf einer
planen Oberfläche mit Schrauben und Dübel Grösse 3 anschrauben. Dabei ist auf
die Kerbe bei der Solarzelle zu achten, welche sich genau gegenüber dem
Magneten befinden muss.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor Inbetriebnahme muss der Fensterkontakt tagsüber 30 Minuten lang an ein
Fenster gelegt werden, wobei direkte Sonnenbestrahlung jedoch zu vermeiden ist.
INSTALLATION
This device is suitable for mounting in dry indoor rooms in compliance with the
technical data and common safety regulations. It should not be mounted on or
near metallic surfaces or close to the ground. A minimum distance of 0.5 m must
be kept to high frequency interference sources such as computers or electronic
ballasts.
The Omnio window contact 1-channel FK101 is suitable for indoor mounting on
window and door frames. It is important to pay attention to a favourable lighting
environment without shadows.
The window contact consists of a base plate and the housing containing the
electronics. Loosen the base plate from the housing by pushing on the four
latches with a screwdriver of size 1. Screw the base plate on a flat surface with
screws and dowels size 3. Pay attention to the notch by the solar cell which must
be exactly opposite the magnet.
INITIAL OPERATION
Prior to the initial operation the window contact needs to be place by the window
for 30 minutes during daytime, whereat direct sunlight should be avoided.
EINLERNVORGANG
Um den Omnio Fensterkontakt 1-Kanal FK101 in einen Omnio Aktor einzulernen,
muss der Aktor gemäss seiner Bedienungsanleitung in den Einlernmodus versetzt
werden. Danach die LRN-Taste des Omnio Fensterkontaktes betätigen und den
Aktor wieder in den Standardmodus versetzen.
Hinweis: Der Fensterkontakt darf nicht weiter als 5 m vom Omnio Aktor entfernt
sein!
PROGRAMMING
To program the Omnio window contact 1-channel FK101 set the Omnio actuator
in the programming mode according to its instruction manual. Then press the
Omnio window contact’s LRN- button and set the Omnio actuator in the operating
mode.
Note: The window contact must notbe further than 5 m away from the Omnio
actuator.
FUNKTIONSWEISE
Der Omnio Fensterkontakt 1-Kanal FK101 sendet bei einer Zustandsänderung
des Reedkontaktes ein Funksignal. Unabhängig davon wird alle ca. 25 Minuten
ein Lebenszeichen gesendet. Dadurch kann der Empfänger feststellen, ob der
Fensterkontakt noch funktionstüchtig ist.
OPERATION
The Omnio window contact 1-channel FK101 sends a radio telegram at a change
of the reed contact status. Independently of this a heartbeat signal is sent every
25 minutes. This allows the receiver to determine whether the window contact is
still functional.
