Placing for the Printer
放置印表機
本製品は、以下のような場所に設置してください。
• 本製品を設置するには、図のようなスペースを確保してく
ださい。
• 専用の電源コンセントが確保できる場所。
• プリンターの質量約 23kg（本体のみ）に十分耐えられる、
水平で安定した場所。
• 本製品は温度 10 ～ 35℃、湿度 20 ～ 80% の環境でお使
いください。本製品をシステムラックに組み込むときも、ラッ
ク内の環境は上記の温度、湿度の範囲でお使いください。
ただし、メディアの環境条件も満たした場所で使用しない
と正しく印刷できないことがあります。
また、適正な湿度を保つために直射日光の当たる場所、エ
アコンなどの風が直接当たる場所、熱源のある場所での使
用を避けてください。
Place the printer in a location that meets the
following requirements.
•Leave adequate room as shown in the illustration
for placing the printer.
•Choose a location with access to a dedicated power
outlet.
•Choose a level and stable location that can support
the weight of the printer (23 kg (main unit only)).
•Use the printer in an environment with a
temperature of 10 to 35 ˚C, and a humidity of 20 to
80%. When the printer is placed on a system rack,
make sure the environment of the rack is within
these ranges.
Even the conditions above are met, you may not
print properly if the environmental conditions are
not proper for the paper. Also, keep the printer
away from drying, direct sunlight, or heat sources
to maintain the appropriate humidity.
請將印表機放在符合下列需求的位置。
•請依照圖示預留足夠的空間以設置印表機。
•選擇一個可以連接至專用電源插座的位置。
•選擇一處能承受印表機重量（約 23 公斤 ( 僅主機 )）

Remove the protective tape from the exterior of
the printer.
移除印表機外部的保護膠帶。

上側を手前に引いてから、下側を取り外します。
Remove the scrap paper box.
Pull the top section forward and then lift out the bottom
section.
移除碎紙盒。
將頂部向前拉，然後取出底部。

取り外します。
Remove the protective cardboard and tape from
inside of the roll paper feeder.
移除滾筒進紙槽內部的保護紙板和膠帶。

給部を引き出します。
Grip the handle to release the lock, and then pull
out the roll paper feeder.
握位把手即可解鎖，然後拉出滾筒進紙槽。

触らないでください。インクが漏れることがあり
ます。
•Do not touch the chip (A) on the ink cartridge.
Doing so may cause incorrect operation or
printing.
•Do not touch the ink supply port (B ) on the ink
cartridge. Ink could leak out.
•請勿觸碰墨水匣上的晶片 (A)。這麼做可能會
造成運作或列印不正常。
•請勿觸碰墨水匣上的出墨口 (B)。可能會導致
墨水外漏。

電源コードの接続

•AC100V 以外の電源は使用しないで
ください。
•漏電事故防止のため、接地接続（アー
ス）を行ってください。

•Use only the type of power source
indicated on the printer's label.
•Make sure the printer is earthed to
prevent accidental short circuits.

•僅可使用印表機標籤上所指示的電
壓類型。
•確定印表機有接地線，預防發生意
外短路。

カバー類が空いていないことを確認し、電源コードを
接続します。
Check that the cover is closed, and then connect
the power cord to the printer.
確認護蓋已闔上，然後將電源線連接至印表機。

プリンターの電源スイッチを押します。
インクの初期充填が始まります。インク充填は約 20 分かか
ります。インク充填中は ランプが点滅します。 ランプ
が点灯したらインク充填は完了です。
Press the Power switch on the printer.
Initial ink charging begins. Ink charging takes
approximately 20 minutes. The light ashes during ink
charging. When the light stops ashing, ink charging is
complete.
按下印表機上的電源鍵。
開始進行初始化導墨。導墨程序大約需要 20 分鐘。在
導墨過程中， 燈號會閃爍。當 燈號停止閃爍時，
表示導墨完成。

ink.
•When the following lights turn on, open the
cartridge cover, and check that the cartridge for
the light that is turned on is inserted correctly.

•If the light remains on even after performing
the operation mentioned above or the ink does
not charge, contact service support.
•導墨時，請勿關閉印表機電源。
•當下列燈號亮起時，請打開卡匣護蓋，然後
檢查燈號亮起的卡匣是否有正確插入。

Y/LC/C/LM/BK/M：墨水燈號
•如果在執行了上述的操作方式之後，燈號仍
然亮著，或是沒有導墨，請洽 Epson 授權服
務中心。

購入直後のインク初回充填では、プリントヘッドノ
ズルの先端部分までインクを満たして印刷できる状
態にするため、その分インクを消費します。交換用
のインクカートリッジをお早めにご準備ください。
Extra ink is required to fully charge the print
head nozzles the rst time the printer is used;
replacement cartridges will be needed earlier
than usual.
首次使用印表機時需要較多的墨水，方可完全
導墨至印字頭噴嘴；所以將比平時更快需要更

必ず電源が入った状態でペーパーをセットしてくだ
さい。
Make sure the printer is on when loading paper.
裝入紙張時，請確定已開啟印表機電源。
A
平らな場所にスピンドルユニットを置き、上側のフラ
ンジを取り外します。
Stand the spindle unit on a at surface and
remove the upper ange.
將滾軸單元直立在平面上，然後移除上方的輪緣。
B
新しいペーパーを袋から取り出して、平らな場所に縦
向きに置きます。その後、ペーパーの上端面を柔らか
い布で数回拭いて紙粉などの汚れを取り去ります。
ペーパーを上から見て巻方向が反時計回りになるように置き
ます。
Remove the new paper from its packaging, and
stand it on a at surface. Wipe the edge of the
paper with a soft cloth several times to remove
any dirt such as paper powder.
Stand the paper so that the winding direction of the paper
counter-clockwise when viewed from above.
從包裝袋中取出新的紙張，然後直立在平面上。用
軟布擦拭紙張的邊緣數次，去除如紙粉等灰塵。
直立紙張，從上方查看時，紙張的捲繞方向為逆時針方
向。

ペーパーの上下を反転して、スピンドルユニットにセッ

Turn the paper upside down, and then place it on
the spindle unit.
Place the core over the spindle unit so that the winding
direction of the paper is clockwise when viewed from
above.
將紙張上方的面朝下，然後將其放入滾軸單元。
將中心部份放入滾軸單元，從上方查看時，紙張的捲繞
方向為順時針方向。

ペーパーの上端面を柔らかい布で数回拭いて紙粉など
の汚れを取り去ります。
Wipe the edge of the paper with a soft cloth
several times to remove any dirt such as paper
powder.
用軟布擦拭紙張的邊緣數次，去除如紙粉等灰塵。

スピンドルユニットの軸にフランジを差し込み、ロー
ルペーパーの紙管を上下のフランジでしっかりと挟み
ます。
Insert the ange into the shaft of the spindle unit
so that the core of the roll paper is held securely
between the top and bottom anges.
將輪緣插入滾軸單元的軸心，使滾筒紙軸能牢牢地
固定在上端和下端的輪緣間。

カットくず箱を取り外します。
Remove the Scrap paper box.
移除碎紙盒。

Grip the handle to release the lock, and then pull
out the roll paper feeder.

パーサイズに合わせます。
インナーエッジガイドの位置を調整するときは、インナー

Match the inner edge guide on the roll paper
feeder to the size of the paper.
To adjust the position of the inner edge guide, lift the inner
edge guide towards you slightly and move it to the left or
right. Match the triangle mark on the inner edge guide to
the scale.
移動滾筒進紙槽上的內部紙張邊緣定位器以符合紙
張大小。
若要調整內部紙張邊緣定位器的位置，請輕輕抬起內部
紙張邊緣定位器，然後移向左側或右側。將內部紙張邊
緣定位器上的三角標示對齊刻度線。

パー供給部の手前に置きます。
ペーパーにテープや保護シートが付いているときは取り外し

Hold the spindle unit in the direction shown
above, and then place it in front of the roll paper
feeder.
Remove any tape or protective sheets from the paper.
If the leading edge of the paper is ragged, cut it in a
straight line with a pair of scissors and so on.
如上圖所示的方向托住滾軸單元，然後將其放在滾
筒進紙槽的前方。
移除紙張上的膠帶或保護紙。如果紙張的前緣不平，請
用剪刀等工具將其裁切成直線。

Load the spindle unit and check that the shaft ts
into the bearings.

paper feed slot.
Insert the paper until the paper light turns on.

みを取ってください。
If the paper slack is not removed completely, print
quality may decline, and paper jams could occur.
Make sure you take the slack out of the paper.
如果沒有完全收緊紙張，列印品質可能會下降
而發生夾紙。請確定已收緊紙張。

Attach the scrap paper box.

• 管理者権限のあるユーザーでログオンしてください。
• 管理者のパスワードまたは確認を求められたとき
は、パスワードを入力して操作を続行してください。
• プリント前にペーパー情報の更新が必要です。
• Windows：
インストール後、メンテナンスツールでペー
パー情報の更新をしてください。更新方法は
『メンテナンスツール操作ガイド』をご覧くだ
さい。
• Mac：
インストール時にペーパー情報の更新をして
ください。
なお、ペーパー定義ファイルの入手方法は販売店
にご確認ください。
•You must log on as a user with administrative
privileges.
•If an Administrator password or conrmation
is requested, enter the password and then
continue with the operation.
•You need to update the paper information
before printing.
•Windows :
After installing, use the Maintenance Tool
to update the paper information. For more
details, see the "Maintenance Tool Operation
Guide".
•Mac :
Update the paper information during
installation.
Contact your local dealer to get the paper type
le.

cable to the printer and the computer.
