Operation Instruction
Measurement of Wind Velocity
1. Press the on/off button to turn on the anemometer.
2. Select the desired units by moving the unit selection button
3. Determine the approximate wind direction.
4. Hold the anemometer so that the air flow will pass through the vane from the back to the front
5. Wait for 4 seconds for a stabilized reading
6. For more accurate results, try to keep the axis of the vane within 20°of the wind direction.

Measurement Temperature
1. Press the on/off button to turn on the anemometer.
2. Select the desired units by moving the unit °C/°F selection button
3. Let the wind pass through the vane (A thermocouple is built into the center of the vane).
4. Read the temperature in the display.
Holding the Reading
Press the hold button to hold the reading of wind velocity or temperature.
Finding the Max./Min.
Press the max/min button, the max wind velocity or Max./Min. temperature measured during the
measurement shall be displayed and updated on LCD.

Battery Replacement
The battery symbol “ “ appears on the lower right of the LCD when the 9V battery needs to be replaced.
Replace the 9V battery as follows:
1. Turn the meter off and disconnect the air temperature probe.
2. Remove the large flat-head screw on the rear of the meter to remove the probe holder.
3. Remove the rubber holster that surrounds the entire meter by pulling it over the top of the meter.
4. Remove the small Phillips head screw on the rear of the meter.
5. Open the battery compartment and replace the 9V battery.
6. Re-assemble the meter before operating

Warranty terms
Eurotron Instruments warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for the period
declared from the date of the original retail purchase.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
If the unit should malfunction, it must be returned during the warranty period, transportation prepaid, to
Eurotron for evaluation. Upon examination, if the unit is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced
at no charge.
Direct all warranty and repair requests/inquiries to the Eurotron Customer Service Department. BEFORE
RETURNING ANY PRODUCT(S) TO EUROTRON, PURCHASER MUST OBTAIN AN AUTHORIZED
RETURN (AR) NUMBER FROM EUROTRON‘S CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT (IN ORDER TO
AVOID PROCESSING DELAYS).
Please include a copy of the original invoice or a small service charge may be applied.
The purchaser is responsible for shipping charges, freight, insurance and proper packaging to prevent
breakage in transit.
Eurotron‘s WARRANTY does not apply to defects resulting from any action of the purchaser, including but
not limited to mishandling, improper interfacing, operation outside of design limits, improper repair, or
unauthorized modification. This WARRANTY is VOID if the unit shows evidence of having been tampered
with or shows evidence of being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion; or current, heat, moisture or
vibration; improper specification; misapplication; misuse or other operating conditions outside of Eurotron‘s
control.

Istruzioni d'uso
Misura della velocità dell'aria
1. Premere il pulsante ON/OFF per accendere lo strumento
2. Selezione l'unità di misura desiderata premendo il pulsante di selezione dell'unità di misura
3. Determinare la direzione del vento approssimativa
4. Tenere l'anemometro in modo che il flusso d'aria passi attraverso la ventola da dietro verso davanti.
5. Attendere circa 4 secondi per far stabilizzare la lettura
6. Per risultati più accurati, cercare di tenere l'asse della ventola a circa 20° rispetto alla direzione del
flusso d'aria.

Misura della temperatura
1. Premere il pulsante ON/OFF per accendere lo strumento
2. Selezione l'unità di misura desiderata premendo il pulsante di selezione °C/°F
3. Lasciare passare il flusso d'aria attraverso la ventola (al centro della ventola è presente una
termocoppia).
4. Leggere in valore di temperatura sul display.
Bloccare il valore letto
Premere il pulsante HOLD per bloccare la lettura della velocità dell'aria o della temperatura.
Funzione MAX/MIN
Premere il pulsante MAX/MIN; sul display verrà visualizzata e aggiornata la misura della massima velocità
dell'aria, oppure la differenza MAX/MIN della misura temperatura.

Sostituzione della batteria
Il simbolo viene visualizzato in basso a destra del display LCD quando la batteria da 9V necessita di
essere sostituita. Sostituire la batteria da 9V come segue:
1. Spegnere lo strumento e scollegare la sonda di temperatura.
2. Rimuovere la vite a testa grande sul retro dello strumento per rimuovere il porta sonda.
3. Rimuovere il guscio in gomma che circonda l'intero strumento spingendo a partire dalla parte superiore
dello stesso.
4. Rimuovere la vite con testa tipo Phillips dalla parte posteriore dello strumento.
5. Aprire il comparto batteria e sostituire la batteria da 9V.
6. Riassemblare lo strumento prima di riutilizzarlo.

Certificato di garanzia
La Eurotron Instruments spa garantisce i propri prodotti da:
•difetto di fabbricazione;
•difetto di progettazione;
•difetto dei materiali;
•assenza delle caratteristiche tecniche dichiarate;
•deroga a norme in vigore al momento della produzione o a regole tecniche di validità generale.
per un periodo di un anno dalla data indicata nella fattura di acquisto.
La garanzia è applicabile solo al compratore originario.
Per essere applicabile la garanzia il Cliente dovrà:
•trasmettere alla Eurotron Instruments spa entro 7 giorni lavorativi dalla data di rilevazione del problema
una comunicazione scritta indicante il difetto riscontrato, gli estremi del contratto sottoscritto e della
fattura di acquisto del prodotto;
•contattare quindi il servizio di assistenza Eurotron Instruments spa per ottenere l'autorizzazione alla
spedizione del prodotto alla Eurotron Instruments spa stessa e le istruzioni relative;
•provvedere a sua cura e spese al trasporto, seguendo pedissequamente le istruzioni Eurotron
Instruments spa di cui sopra.
Qualora venisse rilevato un difetto la Eurotron Instruments spa a suo insindacabile giudizio, deciderà se
sostituire o riparare il prodotto stesso senza alcun addebito a carico del cliente e potrà utilizzare, a suo
insindacabile giudizio, prodotti identici a quelli originari od altri con caratteristiche uguali o migliori.
La garanzia non sarà applicabile nei seguenti casi:
•inosservanza da parte del Cliente di quanto indicato nel libretto di istruzioni e manutenzione;
•qualora i difetti siano stati causati alle apparecchiature da incidenti, negligenza, errato uso, errato
trasporto, insufficienza o eccesso di tensione, umidità o altre cause dovute ad un uso improprio o
comunque diverso dall'uso delle apparecchiature non conforme a quanto indicato nel manuale d'uso;
•qualora i difetti alle apparecchiature siano causati da scoppio, incendio, azioni dell'aria, del vento, del
fulmine, e/o da calamità, tra cui inondazioni, alluvioni, eventi sismici;
•qualora le apparecchiature presentino sostituzioni o riparazioni non effettuate da Eurotron Instruments
spa;
•qualora si effettuino spostamenti di apparecchiature, laddove questo non è ammesso;
•qualora le apparecchiature non siano originali o non siano state acquistate da Eurotron Instruments
spa.
