Q: Why is the handset only recommended t o be used by those over the
age of majority?
A: This is because of unstable hormone balances when growing up —
especially during the adolescence years— when the skin can become
sensitive easily.
Q: The pain and redness do not subside after use, but is this a problem?
A: Treated skin may temporarily turn red or feel painful depending on the
body type or condition of the person using the Pulsar handset. Stop using
the handset immediately, and moisturize/condition accordingly. If the
symptoms subside within 2 days, use the device at the lowest setting in a test
patch to assess. If the symptoms persist after 2 days, consult a dermatologist.
