7. Avoid using extension cords as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
8. Do not pull the power cord to disconnect with the power source. Always grasp the plug to pull it out.
9. Do not insert any objects into the heater as it may cause an electric shock or fire or damage to the
heater. Do not block or tamper with the heater in any manner while it is in operation. To prevent a

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
All functions that can be performed from the main unit are repeated on the remote control.
The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries which are inserted into the back of the control. To use the remote
control, point at the front of the heater and push the appropriate buttons.
HEATER ON & OFF BUTTON
Press the button to start the heater. The LCD will start to display the room temperature and the heater fan will start
working (the fan symbol will show on the right hand side of the display). To stop the heater, push the button
again (the LCD will go blank but stay lit).
HEAT BUTTONS
There are two heat buttons on the heater and remote control which control two 1000W elements. In fan mode (the
default when the heater is turned on), neither of the elements are being used. Pressing one of the buttons activates
one of the elements, and pressing both once activates both (maximum heat output of 2000W). Pressing a button a
second time turns the element off. When an element is turned on, a flame symbol is highlighted at the top of the
display (with both working, two symbols are shown). NOTE: The maximum temperature must be set with the temp
+ & temp – buttons before use.
The heater runs for a short period of time when turned off to help cool the unit. Do not remove the power to the unit
without going through this cooling cycle first as damage can occur.
TIMER BUTTON
The heater can be set to run for up to 12 hours (in 1 hour increments) and then turn off. To use the timer function,
press the TIMER button on either the heater or the remote control. The timer function is indicated on the LCD display
by a clock in the top right hand corner and the length of time before turning off flashing in place of the temperature.
Pressing the temperature up and down buttons will cycle the function from 1 through to 12 hours. Once
programmed in, the display will change back to the room temperature. To cancel the timer, leave the time at “00”
(this can also be done by changing the time to “00” during its function).
TEMP BUTTONS
When the heater is to be used in the heating mode, a maximum required temperature must be set using the “temp
+” & “temp – buttons”. Push a temp button & the display will start to flash the required maximum temperature. This
can be adjusted by pushing the two temperature buttons until the required maximum temperature is displayed. This
temperature is programmed in when it stops flashing & displays the room temperature. Press the heat button(s) to
start heating the room. When the maximum temperature is reached, the element(s) will turn off, but the fan will
continue to operate. When the temperature drops below the maximum temperature required, the element(s) will
start to operate again.
OSCILLATION CONTROL
To start the heater oscillating, press the oscillation button (double sided arrow) on either the heater or remote
control. The display will show a set of flashing arrows on the left hand side. To halt the oscillation in the position it
is currently in, press the button again.

Take the Air Inlet and the Air Filter off, clean the Air Inlet with the vacuum brush attachment on your
Vacuum cleaner, and wash the Air Filter in warm water and dry it. DO NOT DRY AIR FILTER IN

WEEE WARNING
This product should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist and
check with your local authority for recycling advice.
HINTS & TIPS
Where possible your electric heater should be connected to a power outlet
that uses a separate 10 amp power circuit. This will avoid overloading your
household fuse.
In the event that your household fuse is overloaded and trips, please note this is
normally caused by the use of excessive power outlets at the same time your heater
is operating (for example, a steam iron, kettle, toaster etc.). Please ensure to check
the use of the power circuit and adjust when heater is in use (i.e. turn off the heater
when boiling a kettle).
Should you still experience difficulty contact Everdure Service for assistance.
