IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: Read the safety precautions of this booklet carefully before attempting to assemble,
install, operate or maintain the product described. Protect yourself and others by
observing all safety information. Failure to comply with instructions could result in
personal injury and/or property damage. If you are unsure about anything regarding
your heater or these instructions, please contact Everdure on 1300 766 066 in Australia
or (09) 415 6000 in New Zealand before operating your appliance.
1. Read all instructions carefully before using the heater.
2. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons.
3. Remove the package and ensure that the heater is undamaged. In case of doubt do not use the heater
and contact Everdure Service. Do not let children play with any parts of the package.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
5. Before you use the heater, check if the voltage marked on the rating label corresponds to the mains in
your home.
6. Extreme caution is necessary when the heater is used by or near children or individuals with decreased
mental and physical capacity and whenever the heater is left operating unattended.
7. Avoid using extension cords as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
8. Do not pull the power cord to disconnect with the power source. Always grasp the plug to pull it out.
9. Do not insert any objects into the heater as it may cause an electric shock or fire or damage to the
heater. Do not block or tamper with the heater in any manner while it is in operation. To prevent a
possible fire, do not block the air inlet or outlet in any manner. Do not place on soft surfaces, like a bed,
where openings may become blocked.
10. Do not leave the heater unattended. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
WARNING: The Main Power Switch and rear power switch should not be used as the sole means of
disconnecting power. Always unplug the power cord before servicing or moving the unit.
11. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Always use the
handle when moving the heater (where available) or hold on the sides if not available (make sure the
unit is turned off). Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and keep them at least 1 foot (0.3m) from the
sides and rear.
12. The heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It must NOT be used in potentially dangerous
locations such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres. This heater is intended
for general indoor domestic use ONLY.
13. This heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never locate a heater where it may fall into
a bathtub or other water container.
14. Do not use the heater outdoors.
15. This heater includes a tilt switch that turns the heater off if it falls over. Once righted, the heater will
completely reset and can be used as normal.
WARNING:
To avoid danger of electric shock, unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. If the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from an
authorized person. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. The heater must NOT
be located immediately below a socket outlet. Do not use the heater in the immediate
surrounding of a bath, shower or swimming pool.

GETTING STARTED
1. Carefully remove the heater body, heater base and remote control from their plastic bags and the carton, and place on a
clean bench.
2. With the heater body on its side, unscrew the base nut from the bottom. Place the base over the tread and re-attach the base
nut. Hand tighten the nut.
3. Place the heater upright onto a stable, flat and dry surface. Take care the power cord is fully unfurled.
4. Plug the cord set into a 230-240V~A.C. 50Hz electrical outlet. Turn the power on at the electrical outlet and at the power
switch at the rear of the appliance. Power on will be indicated by a short “beep”.
5. The heater is now ready for use. Refer to the operating instructions section further in this manual for the full operation of
your heater.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER ON/OFF BUTTON
Make sure the power supply and power switch are on, a short audible “beep will indicate the appliance is in standby mode.
Press the Power On/Off Button once and the unit will now be active and the Power Indicator will light up. The appliance will
start at the low power setting (25°C), oscillation off, fan on, with the digital display showing the current ambient temperature.
Press a second time and the appliance will revert back to the standby mode.
Note: If the Temperature is set to a level below the ambient temperature, the unit will not run.
TEMPERATURE/TIME SET BUTTON
The appliance starts with the timer off and the temperature set to (25°C). Pressing the Temperature/Time Set Button once puts
the appliance into the timer set mode (“H” flashing on the digital display twice a second). Set the time using the Setting Increase
Button & Setting Decrease Buttons (“+” & “-“) to adjust the time to turn off in hours (between 1 & 12 hours). To fix time, either
leave for 5 seconds or press the Elements On/Off or Oscillation buttons. The timer can be disabled by turning the appliance
off or resetting the timer to “0”.
Pressing the Temperature/Time Set Button twice (or once more while in the timer set mode) puts the appliance into the
temperature setting mode (°C flashes on the display). Set the maximum temperature using the Setting Increase Button & Setting
Decrease Buttons (“+” & “-“) to adjust the maximum temperature in °C (between 15°C & 35°C). To store this, either leave for
5 seconds or press the Elements On/Off or Oscillation buttons. When the appliance detects this temperature has been reached
it will turn the elements off until the temperature drops 2°C below the set temperature, at which point the elements will turn
back on. Note: The appliance will generally run for 10 seconds while the ambient temperature is measured.
OSCILLATION BUTTON
The appliance starts with the oscillation off. Press the Oscillation Button once and the heater body will oscillate on the base (the
Oscillation Display will light up). The heater will continue to oscillate until the Oscillation Button is pressed again (the
Oscillation Display will turn off), or the Power On/Off Button is pressed to send the appliance into the standby mode.
ELEMENTS ON/OFF BUTTON
The appliance starts with only half of the available heating elements running. Press the Elements On/Off button to switch
between low & high power.

REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Push the catch on the battery holder down & pull holder out. Place the battery into the holder and push back into
position.
SAFETY FEATURES
1. A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating.
2. When an overheat temperature is reached, the heater will automatically shut off. It can only resume operation
when the user resets the unit (see reset instructions below).
To reset your heater:
1. Unplug the heater and wait between 5-10 minutes for the unit to cool down.
2. Then, turn on the unit again and operate normally.
A tip switch is built into the unit. If tipped over the appliance will shut off. Right the appliance to restart.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING, DO NOT
IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER!
Take the Air Inlet and the Air Filter off, clean the Air Inlet with the vacuum brush attachment on your Vacuum
cleaner, and wash the Air Filter in warm water and dry it. DO NOT DRY AIR FILTER IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT.
Clean the body of the heater with a soft damp cloth. Always make sure that the heater is completely dry before
connecting back to the mains supply.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they will damage the heater. NEVER
use ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.
STORAGE: Store the heater with these instructions in the original packaging, in a cool, dry place.
WEEE WARNING
This product should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist and
check with your local authority for recycling advice.
HINTS & TIPS
Where possible your electric heater should be connected to a power outlet that uses a separate 10 amp power
circuit. This will avoid overloading your household fuse.
In the event that your household fuse is overloaded and trips, please note this is normally caused by the use of
excessive power outlets at the same time your heater is operating (for example, a steam iron, kettle, toaster etc.).
Please ensure to check the use of the power circuit and adjust when heater is in use (i.e. turn off the heater when
boiling a kettle).
