OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please Note: If the thermostat is set to a lower temperature than the ambient temperature, the unit will not run.
THERMOSTAT CONTROL KNOB
The appliance has an inbuilt thermostat which allows you to set the maximum temperature of the room. Rotate the
Thermostat Control Knob fully anti-clockwise to set to the lowest setting. Rotate clockwise to increase the thermostat
temperature setting. While the appliance senses an ambient temperature lower than the set temperature, it will run.
When the ambient temperature reaches the set temperature, the elements will shut down, and will not restart until
the ambient temperature drops sufficiently.
To set the temperature:
1. Turn the thermostat control knob clockwise until the maximum temperature setting is reached.
2. Once the desired ambient temperature has been reached, very slowly turn the thermostat control knob
anti-clockwise until there is an auditable click. The thermostat has turned off and the elements will stop
producing heat.
3. The heater elements and fan will now turn off and on automatically, maintaining the room temperature you
have set. To increase or reduce this temperature, the thermostat knob should be adjusted accordingly.
FUNCTION SELECT KNOB
Make sure the power supply is on. There are five settings: Off, Low power, Low power with oscillation. High power
& High power with oscillation.
Off: When the Setting knob is set to “Off”, the appliance will not run.
Low Power: When the Setting knob is set to “Low Power”, only a section of the element will run (1400W) with the
fan.
Low Power with Oscillation: The appliance will run as per the “Low Power” setting, with the appliance body
oscillating on its base.
High Power: When the Setting knob is set to “High Power”, the whole element will run (2400W) with the fan.
High Power with Oscillation: The appliance will run as per the “High Power” setting, with the appliance body
oscillating on its base.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING, DO NOT
IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER!
Take the Air Inlet and the Air Filter off, clean the Air Inlet with the vacuum brush attachment on your
Vacuum cleaner, and wash the Air Filter in warm water and dry it. DO NOT DRY AIR FILTER IN
DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Clean the body of the heater with a soft damp cloth. Always make sure that the
heater is completely dry before connecting back to the mains supply.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they will damage the
heater. NEVER use ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.
STORAGE: Store the heater with these instructions in the original packaging, in a cool, dry place.
WEEE WARNING
This product should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist and
check with your local authority for recycling advice.
HINTS & TIPS
Where possible your electric heater should be connected to a power outlet
that uses a separate 10 amp power circuit. This will avoid overloading your
household fuse.
In the event that your household fuse is overloaded and trips, please note this is
normally caused by the use of excessive power outlets at the same time your heater
is operating (for example, a steam iron, kettle, toaster etc.). Please ensure to check
the use of the power circuit and adjust when heater is in use (i.e. turn off the heater
when boiling a kettle).
Should you still experience difficulty contact Everdure Service for assistance.
