Manual ON/Off control:
Press the button and the LED will turn on, and the electronic device controlled by
AN183 will also turn on, while pressing the button again will turn off the electronic
device and its LED will turn off as well.
Manual Binding
1. With the plug in Off position (LED is Off) press and hold the On/Off button for
more than 4 seconds until the LED blinks rapidly. A 30-second countdown will
start. Then goes to VIAS APP, choose System>Add Device to press the AN183
icon on the list, then enter the pairing wizard to perform the pairng.
2. Within 5 seconds, the LED indicator will then stop flashing and turn off,
indicating the learning procedure is completed. The screen will appear
indicating the process is successful.
Note: The Plug has an overload protection feature. Upon detecting an overload
condition, it will automatically switch off the load, disable the On/Off button and the
LED will flash rapidly for 30 seconds as warning. When this happens, disconnect
the load and check the load for symptoms of failure. The overload protection of the
Plug can be reset by simply unplugging the Plug and re-connecting it to the
electrical outlet.
Safety Precautions
1. Do not put the unit in humid or dusty places or facing direct sunlight.
2. The suitable ambient temperature for the unit is 0°C to 40°C.
3. Do not place the unit near combustible substances or any source of heat, e.g.
fire, radiators, boilers, etc.
Troubleshooting
The troubleshooting table lists some possible causes and solutions. Please contact
your original retailer or nearest service center if the below solutions cannot solve
your problem.
The unit is not working and
LED is off.
1. The unit is not connected
well to the power socket
or extender.
2. The unit is out of order.
1. Try to connect again and
make sure the extender is
working fine.
2. Don’t open up the unit and
send it for repair.
The unit is working, but
cannot control the ON/OFF
status of the device
connected to the unit.
Check if the device
connected to the unit has its
own on/off switch.
Set the switch of the connected
lamp to On/Off.
The LED is on but cannot
control the unit.
1. The unit didn’t complete
successfully the binding
operation.
2. The unit cannot
communicate with the
gateway U-net gateway.
1. Check “Manual binding”.
2. Place the plug closer to the
gateway.
The LED flashes rapidly for
30 seconds and the unit
cannot be controlled.
Remove the load and ensure
the connected load does not
exceed 3000 VA and current
does not exceed 14.5A.
Reset to Factory Settings
To reset AN183 back to factory default state:
1. Press and hold the On/Off button for 3 seconds until the LED starts to flash
then release the button.
2. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button for more than 6 seconds. The
LED will start to flash, implying the device is reset back to factory mode
