LEGEXX ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
For first time set-up. Use the items and tools
listed to the right, provided with your LegExx.
Attach the backrest and swing beam in any
order you like!
Assistance is recommended
during assembly
• 1x 5 mm hex key
• 1x 4 mm hex key
• 1x circlip opener
• 4x M8X10 screws
• 1x washer
• 1x circlip
• 1x cover disc
• 1x M6X12 screw

1. Remove the packaging around the shaft of the swing
beam. Make sure the swing beam has its washer(s)
on the shaft. Also, remove the rubber band holding it/
them in place.
2. Insert the shaft, with washer(s) on, into the cylindrical
housing. It needs to go in perfectly straight. Nudge it
gently and do not use excessive force. Ask another
person to push against the outer bearing as the shaft
goes in. If the bearing pops out, put it back in.
3. Put the 25 mm washer from the tool bag onto the
shaft piece sticking out from the cylindrical housing.
Next, put the circlip into the groove of the shaft using
the circlip opener.
4. Screw the cover disc in place using the 4 mm hex key
for the M6X12 screw.
1. Pull the red rubber tag on the side and pull the
backrest support beam out to in its rearmost position.
This will reveal four screw holes.
2. Hold the backrest in place while attaching it. One
person holds the backrest whilst the other person puts
in the M8X10 screws.
3. Tighten all four screws with the 5 mm hex key.

Attaching the drive belt
1. Cut off the rubber band securing the drive belt.
2. Pull the loose end of the drive belt over the pulley and
out from below. Make sure the belt is not twisted.
3. Insert the end of the drive belt through the slot of the
flywheel shaft, from the side with the smaller groove,
and out from the bigger groove. Again, make sure the
belt is not twisted. If you have trouble following the

4. Fold the end of the belt around the lock pin and pull
the belt and pin back into the wider groove in the shaft.
5. The Belt automatically locks into the groove when you
pull it firmly.
