Heater is for use on 240 volts. The cord has
a 3-prong plug as shown. o adapter is
available, and none should be used.
The wall receptacle must be a 240 volt
grounding outlet with EMA Code as shown in chart. Properly
installed, it provides a ground connection through the cord to
the heater to protect from electric shock. If you are unable to
insert the plug into the outlet, contact an electrician.
Insert plug firmly into receptacle. Be sure plug fits tightly. A
loose fit will cause overheating and damage to the plug. Plug
and cord may feel warm during normal usage. Do not use
an extension cord. Always operate heater on its feet in the
normal upright position.
Turn the Thermostat control clockwise (right) until knob
stops. After the room reaches the desired comfort level,
slowly turn knob counterclockwise (left) until the heater
cycles off. The heater will then automatically cycle on and off
to maintain the desired comfort level. Note: Do not force
knob beyond normal stop position. When no heat is needed,
turn control to OFF and unplug.
Each time heater is used, be sure to turn knob full “On”
before turning it back to approximate setting established as
most comfortable. (Design of the thermostat requires this
operation every time heater is used.)
