1. SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING! When using electric tools basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Read all these instructions before attempting to operate this product and save these
instructions.
1. Keep work area clear
Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.
2. Consider work area environment
Do not expose tools to rain.
Do not use tools in damp or wet locations.
Keep work area well lit.
Do not use tools in the presence of flammable liquids or gases.
3. Guard against electric shock
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes, radiators, ranges,
refrigerators).
4. Keep other persons away
Do not let persons, especially children, not involved in the work touch the tool or the
extension cord and keep them away from the work area.
5. Store idle tools
When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry locked-up place, out of reach of
children.
6. Do not force the tool
It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was intended.
7. Use the right tool
Do not force small tools to do the job of a heavy duty tool.
Do not use tools for purposes not intended; for example do not use circular saws to
cut tree limbs or logs.
8. Dress properly
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery; they can be caught in moving parts.
Non-skid footwear is recommended when working outdoors.
Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.
9. Use protective equipment
Use safety glasses.
Use face or dust mask if working operations create dust.
10. Connect dust extraction equipment
If the tool is provided for the connection of dust extraction and collecting equipment,
ensure these are connected and properly used.
11. Do not abuse the cord
Never yank the cord to disconnect it from the socket. Keep the cord away from heat,
oil and sharp edges.
12. Secure work
Where possible use clamps or a vice to hold the work. It is safer than using your
hand.
13. Do not overreach
Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
14. Maintain tools with care
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean for better and safer performance.
Follow instruction for lubricating and changing accessories.
Inspect tool cords periodically and if damaged have them repaired by an authorized
service facility.
Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if damaged.
Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
15. Disconnect tools
When not in use, before servicing and when changing accessories such as blades,
bits and cutters, disconnect tools from the power supply.
16. Remove adjusting keys and wrenches
Form the habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed
from the tool before turning it on.

17. Avoid unintentional starting
Ensure switch is in "off" position when plugging in.
18. Use outdoor extension leads
When the tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords intended for outdoor use
and so marked.
19. Stay alert
Watch what you are doing, use common sense and do not operate the tool when
you are tired.
20. Check damaged parts
Before further use of tool, it should be carefully checked to determine that it will
operate properly and perform its intended function.
Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts,
mounting and any other conditions that may affect its operation.
A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an
authorized service centre unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual.
Have defective switches replaced by an authorized service centre.
Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.
21. Warning
The use of any accessory or attachment other than one recommended in this
instruction manual may present a risk of personal injury.
22. Have your tool repaired by a qualified person
This electric tool complies with the relevant safety rules. Repairs should only be
carried out by qualified persons using original spare parts, otherwise this may result
in considerable danger to the user
ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR SCROLL SAWS
- This scroll saw is intended for use in dry conditions, and for indoor use only.
- Do not cut pieces of material too small to hold by hand outside the blade guard.
- Avoid awkward hand positions where a sudden slip could cause a hand to move into the
blade.
- Always use the blade guard to avoid possible injury due to blade breakage.
- Never leave the scroll saw work area with the power 01), or before the machine has come
to a complete stop.
- Do not perform layout, assembly or set up work on the table while the cutting tool is in
operation.
- Never turn your scroll saw on before clearing the table of all objects: (tools, scraps of
wood, etc.) except for the workpiece and related feed or support devices for the operation
planned.
- Wear safety goggles and a noise-canceling helmet#
- Adjust the protection before use.
- Use sharp blades that are suitable for the machine.
- Do not use the saw to cut too small parts, as this may cause injury.
- Never cut wood pieces larger than 52X405mm.
- Make sure that the part to be cut has no obstacles (nails, screws, staples ...) that can be
dangerous for the user and break the blades.
- The blades must be securely fastened before starting.
- Do not remove the chips from the table or extraction system with your fingers.
- Handle the blades with care, they are sharp and can cause injury.
- Place yourself facing the entrance table when working.
- Never leave the machine running unattended
- For any work on the machine, make sure that the machine is switched off and
disconnected.
- Do not use the machine without the protective cover.
- Careful attention to harmful and toxic dusts can be produced when sanding certain
materials (e.g. sanding paints containing lead) / Check grinding wheels before use, do not

use chipped, cracked or otherwise damaged wheels. The grinding wheel continues to
rotate after the tool is stopped.
- Use of mini-drill:
oHearing protection must be applied when using the drill.
- Use of mini-grinder
oMake sure that the dimensions of the grinding wheel are compatible with the grinder
oCheck grinding wheel before use, do not use chipped, cracked or otherwise
damaged wheels
oEnsure that the grinding wheels and grinding wheels are mounted in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions
oEnsure that the abrasive tool is properly assembled and tightened before using the
tool; Run the tool for 30 seconds in a safe position, stop immediately if there is a high
vibration or if other defects are detected. If this is the case, check the tool to

Remaining hazards
The machine has been built using modern technology in accordance with recognized
safety rules. Some remaining hazards, however, may still exist.
Long hair and loose clothing can be hazardous when the work piece is rotating. Wear
personal protective gear such as a hair net and tight fitting work clothes.
Saw dust and wood chips can be hazardous. Wear personal protective gear such as safety
goggles and a dust mask.
The use of incorrect or damaged mains cables can lead to injuries caused by electricity.
Even when all safety measures are taken, some remaining hazards which are not yet evident
may still be present.
Remaining hazards can be minimized by following the instructions in Safety Precautions,
Proper Use and in the entire operating manual.
Do not force the machine unnecessarily: excessive cutting pressure may lead to rapid
deterioration of the blade and a decrease in performance in terms of finish and cutting
precision.
Avoid accidental starts: do not press the start button while inserting the plug into the socket.
Keep this safety information in a safe place.

Intended use
Ideal for precision work and creative leisure on wood, cardboard, PVC, aluminum, glass and
many other supports.
For complex and straight cuts, drilling, sanding, polishing, engraving, etc.
This variable speed scroll saw makes it possible to make complex cut-out.
Its grooved table offers the possibility of making straight cuts with a guide (function of band
saw).

3. ASSEMBLY
NOTE: The tool must not be plugged to electrical supply when assembly.
a. Fixing of the saw
- The base of the scroll saw must be placed and
secured on a solid, level surface in a place that
is not accessible to children. Fasten the drum
with 3 nuts and bolts through the 3 holes
provided for this purpose.
- Each foot must be firmly secured with bolts (not
supplied)
- The bolts must be long enough to take into
account the thickness of the work surface on
which the saw is attached. Use "brake"
washers (not supplied) and place the clamping
nuts under the worktop.
- The dimensions of the work surface must be
sufficient to prevent the overturning of the
assembly during work
- WARNING: Ensure the stability and robustness
of the worktop before any work.
b. Setting of the angle table
Loosen the table angle lock knob.
Select an angle from 0 to 45 ° and tighten the
locking knob.
c. Installation of the guard
- Insert the guard inside the pulley as shown in the picture
on the right.
- Align the protector correctly in front of the hole in the
pulley to insert the nut.
- Once the nut is inserted, tighten using the washer and the
screw.
- Screw firmly.
- Check for proper sliding up / down of the guard

d. Aligning the angle pointer
Loosen the table and the pointer and
adjust with a square (not supplied) until
a perfect angle is obtained with the
blade and table. Then tighten the table
and the pointer screw.
e. Installing/replacing and adjusting the blade
- Turn the tension knob counter clockwise to release the saw blade.
- Unscrew the left cover.
- Press lightly on the protective support to remove the blade out of the top blade holder.
Then take the blade out of the bottom blade holder. Pull the blade up and out through the
table.
- Insert the new blade, the teeth must be downwards so as not to cause a clattering on the
table and in front of the workpiece.
- Use the Allen key to clamp-fit the saw blade in the holder.
- Finally, perform the reverse routing to tighten the screws
Handle the blades thoroughly to avoid any risk of accidents.
f. Using the speed adjustment button
To vary the speed, turn the speed
controller knob (1). To increase the speed,
turn the knob to the right, to decrease the
speed turn the knob to the left.
Tips: For straight cuts, use a fast speed,
for the winding cuts adjust a slower speed.
g. Installation of the mini drill hose
- To install the mini-drill hose (1 meter), align the hose
with the mini-drill coupling located on the right side of
the machine.
- Once aligned, tighten firmly.
h. Installation of a new accessory
With the flexible shaft lock pressed down, tighten the compression nut.
Release the flexible shaft spindle lock by sliding it towards the accessory.

4. UTILISATION
a. Inserting the workpiece
- Adjust the protection and the slide according to
the size of the workpiece.
- Tighten the screws and fasteners.
- Push the guard up to the cutting slide.
- Any unused blade must be protected!
- Switch the machine on firmly.
- Place the workpiece on the entry table.
- Progress the workpiece progressively with the
cutting line facing the cutting edge of the blade.
Caution, moving the workpiece too fast generates
burrs or breakage of the blades.
You can also make interior cuts without having to
cut your piece from an edge.
b. Starting
After adjustments and checks, start the machine by pressing the green button (1) of the
disconnection switch.
Run the machine for 30 seconds in a safe position to check for proper operation.
Stop the machine immediately if there is a significant vibration or if other defects are
detected.
If this is the case, check the machine to determine the cause of the fault.
Stopping is carried out by pressing the red button on the magnetic switch 2).
c. Use
You can use the machine after unpacking, reading the instructions and checking the
correct assembly of the blade.
For a good sliding, the table must be regularly lubricated.
Avoid wet wood.
Carefully remove and clean wood chips regularly.
Avoid working too small parts (less than 5 mm thick).
Caution: moving the workpiece too fast generates burrs.

5. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
a. Cleaning of chips
When using your machine it is important to connect a vacuum cleaner connected to the
chip outlet so that the chips do not remain in the motor or in the chassis of the machine.
Chip accumulation can alter the drive belt and cause the engine to overheat. These
failures are not covered under warranty
b. lubricating of the gooseneck supports
Lubricate this part with white oil as often as possible (about
every 2 hours of use).
c. Regular maintenance
Periodically check the power cable and, if it is damaged, replace it with an identical cable.
It is recommended that this service be carried out by the After Sales Service.
Periodically check the power cord and extension cables and replace if damaged. This
operation must be provided by a qualified service.
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine always in good condition.
It is advisable to check the condition of the carbon brushes after 50 hours of use or in
case of excessive sparking.
Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean for better and safer performance.
Clean the protector with a brush to remove sawdust after use after disconnecting the
machine.
The cleaning of the plastic parts is done disconnected machine, using a soft damp cloth
and a little soft soap.
Never immerse the machine and do not use detergent, alcohol, gasoline, etc.
For thorough cleaning, consult the After Sales Service.
6. DISPOSAL
Electrical products should not be discarded with household products. According to the
European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its
implementation into national law, electrical products used must be collected separately and
disposed of at collection points provided for this purpose. Talk with your local authorities or
dealer for advice on recycling.
