FEIN Dust-Free Sanding Systems
FEIN Dust-Free sanding systems
integrate a variety of sanders and
vacuums into complete systems that
capture up to 98% of the dust created
by sanding. Dust-Free sanding is
faster and creates a better finish
because the sandpaper rides directly
on the work instead of on a bed of
dust. Fresh abrasive is always in con-
tact with the surface and the sanding
pad stays cool. Clean-up is virtually
eliminated. Masking doors, windows
and vents is not necessary, and jobs
are completed faster. Finished prod-
ucts are clean and free of dust, and
sandpaper usage is reduced.

Direct dust extraction is accomplished through holes
in the bottom and the periphery of the pad. Hook
and loop sandpaper makes paper changing easy, and
improves abrasive life. FEIN sanders feature a truly
random sanding pattern. With no direct connection
between the motor and pad, the pad reverses rotation
as it orbits. The instantaneous electronic feedback
system maintains constant RPM no matter how much

a metal gear head and fiberglass
reinforced polyamide motor housing.

The FEIN Half-Sheet Sander
FEIN Half-Sheet Sanders are perfect
for sanding medium to large, flat
surfaces. Besides having 14 holes for
dust extraction through the paper and
pad, side ducts pick up ambient dust
as well. You can use either hook &
loop paper or standard paper with
FEIN's "No-Fumble" paper clamps.
FEIN Half-Sheet sanders also feature a
fiberglass reinforced polyamide motor
housing, carbon brushes with auto-
matic shut-off, and comfortable, low
vibration operation.
Two models are available, the low
speed MSs 641a for coarse sanding or
the high-speed MSs 641b for finer
sanding.

FEIN Turbo II Dust Extractor
The FEIN Turbo II Dust Extractor
is the ideal companion for Fein dust-
free sanders or a MultiMaster with a
dust kit.
The FEIN Turbo II features an auto-
matic on-off switch that controls the
starting and stopping of the vac. It
also has a ten-second delay to clean
the hoses when the sander is turned
off. Unlike most vacs, the powerful,
quiet, two-stage motor offers bypass
cooling. This means that if the hose
and filter become blocked, critical air-
flow will still cool the motor.
Designed for heavy, continuous,
industrial use, the Turbo II can handle
power tools with inputs of 40 to 2000
watts (.3 to 19 amps). The vac can be
used wet or dry, and with accessories
it can replace a standard vacuum for
easy clean-up and general service.
