ModeSwitching
Spotlight mode: on floodlight mode, rotate the switch clockwise to the off state, continuously

Spot&flood Mode: on spotlight or floodlight mode, single click the side switch to enter

Openthecaptoinsertthebatteryinaccordancewiththepolaritymarks,thenreplacethecap
andfastenthelatch.
Charging
OpenthecapandplugtheUSBType‐Csideofthechargingcableintothechargingportof
thebatterycase.

Inchargingprocess,oneindicatorflashes:below20%,oneconstant‐onandoneflashes:20%
‐50%,twoconstant‐onandoneflashes:50%‐80%,threeconstant‐onandoneflashes:80%
‐95%,fourconstant‐on:chargingcomplete.
When charging is complete, replace the anti‐dust cap to ensure the waterproof and
dustproofability.
Note:1.ThenormalchargingtimeoftheFenixARB‐L21‐5000battery is about 4.5 hours from depletion to full
charging,withthelampbeingswitchedoff.Whencharging,on/offandoutputselectioncanbeused.
2.RechargeastoredheadlampeveryfourmonthstomaintainoptimalLi‐ionbatteryperformance.
PowerBankFunction
1.Switchoffthelamp,plugtheUSBAsocketofthechargingcableintothebatterycase,andthen
connectanothersocketofthechargingcabletothedigitaldevice.
2.Singleclickswitchnexttotheindicatorstobegindischarging(dischargingcurrentis2A).
3.Indischargingprocess,fourindicatorsflash:over80%,threeflash:50%‐80%,twoflash:20%‐
50%,oneflashes:below20%.
4.Whendischargingcomplete,theindicators delay30secondstogoouttoremindchargingis
complete.Besuretoclosetheanti‐dustcoveroncechargingiscompleted.

Withthelampswitchedoff,singleclicktheswitchtocheckthebatterystatus,theindicatorswill
lastfor3seconds.

IntelligentOverheatProtection
Thelampwillaccumulatealotofheatwhenusedatrelativelyhighmodesforextendedperiods.
Whenthelampreachesatemperatureof60°Corabove,thelampwillautomaticallystepdowna
few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it will then
allowtheusertoreselectthemodes.
Low‐voltageWarning
Whenthevoltageleveldropsbelowthepresetlevel,theheadlampisprogrammedtodownshift
toalowerbrightnessleveluntilLowmodeisreached.WhenthishappensinLowmode,thelamp
blinks3timesevery5minutestoremindyoutotimelyrechargeorreplacethebattery.

HeadbandAssembly
Theheadbandisfactoryassembledbydefault.
Adjusttheheadbandbyslidingthebuckletotherequiredlength.
Iftheheadbandisstainedwithsweatandmud,itcanbewasheddirectly.
WearingWays

Onhead:clipthebatterycaseontheholder,anditcanbeassembledon thehelmetwiththe
includedhelmetattachmenthooks.
Belt‐worn: clip the battery case on the included stainless steel belt clip, the lamp can be
belt‐worntogetherwiththeextensioncable.
UsageandMaintenance
Disassemblingthesealedheadcancausedamagetothelampandwillvoidthewarranty.
FenixrecommendsusinganexcellentqualityFenixbattery.
Ifthelampwillnotbeusedforanextendedperiod,removethebattery,orthelampcould
bedamagedbyelectrolyteleakage.
Takeoutthebatterytopreventaccidentalactivationduringstorageortransportation.
Long‐termusecanresultinO‐ringwear.Tomaintainaproperwaterseal,replacethering
withanapprovedspare.
Periodiccleaningofthebatterycontactsimprovesthelamp'sperformanceasdirtycontacts
maycausethelamptoflicker,shineintermittentlyorevenfailtoilluminateforthefollowing
reasons:
A:Thebatteryneedsreplacingorrecharging.
Solution:Replaceor recharge thebattery (Ensure thebattery isinsertedaccordingto the
manufacturer’sspecifications).
B:Thecontactpointorcontactofthebatteryorheadlampisdirty.
Solution:Cleanthecontactpointswithacottonswabsoakedinrubbingalcohol.

orothers.Avoidshiningthelampdirectlyintoanyone’seyes.
Thisheadlampwillaccumulatealotofheatwhenusedforextendedperiods,resultingina
hightemperatureoftheheadlampshell.Payattentiontosafeusetoavoidscalding.
Do not shine an object at close range, avoid burning the object or causing danger due to
hightemperature.
TheLEDofthis headlampisnot replaceable;sotheentirelamp shouldbe replaced when
theLEDreachestheendofitslife.
Ifanyoftheinformationprovidedinthismanualischanged,thenewversionofthemanual
