Operatin Instruction
Li htin Mode (Facto y default is “High” upon fi st use; the eafte intelligent memo y ci cuit is
activated)
Spotlight switch : p ess and hold the switch fo 0.5 seconds to tu n ON/OFF the
spotlight. Click to cycle th ough High→Tu bo→Low→Med.
Floodlight switch : p ess and hold the switch fo 0.5 seconds to tu n ON/OFF the
floodlight. Click to cycle the lamp th ough High→Tu bo→Low→Med.
Note: The spot- and floodlights a e cont olled by sepa ate switches.
Intelli ent Memory Circuit
The headlamp memo izes the last b ightness level used. When next tu ned on, the p eviously
used b ightness level is ecalled.

SOS Mode
In any state, p ess and hold the floodlight switch fo 1.2 seconds to ente SOS mode.
Click to etu n to p evious state. The SOS output is the same as the floodlight Med level.
Intelli ent Overheat Protection
The headlamp will accumulate a lot of heat when high output levels a e used. To avoid high
su face tempe atu e:
1. The output will automatically be downshifted when the lamp eaches a tempe atu e of 65 ; ℃
2. When the tempe atu e is educed, the output will g adually etu n to p eviously used output
level.
Battery Level Indication (Only works on 18650 battery)
Single click the indication switch to check the batte y level. Indication will last fo 5 seconds:
Fou constantly on: mo e than 80%
Th ee constantly on: 60%-80%
Two constantly on: 40%-60%
One constantly on: 20%-40%
One flashes: lowe than 20%, cha ge the headlamp as soon as possible
(These a e app oximate figu es.)
Char in (Only works on 18650 battery)
1. Open the anti-dust cove on the batte y case. Plug the Mic o USB te minal of the cha ging
cable into the Mic o USB po t in the batte y case, and the USB te minal of the cha ging cable into
any USB powe supply.
2. The indicato lights sta t flashing to indicate cha ging. The indicato lights tu n constantly on
when the batte y is fully cha ged. The no mal cha ging time is about 8 hou s fo 2 batte ies and
the ecommended adapto is 5V/2A. If only one batte y is being cha ged the indicato s will not
show, and the cha ging time will be about 4 hou s.
Power Bank Function
Open the anti-dust cove on the batte y case. Connect the device to be cha ged, to the batte y
case with the cha ging cable. P ess and hold the indication switch fo 3 seconds to sta t cha ging
the exte nal device. The fou indicato lights will sta t flashing to indicate cha ging. Remove the
cha ging cable once cha ging is completed. Cha ging can be esumed if disconnection does not
exceed 5 seconds.
Note:
1. Once cha ging is completed, be su e to emove the cha ging cable and eplace the anti-dust

cove to etain wate and dust esistance.
2. A sho t ci cuit can occu if a metal object touches any pa t of the USB o mic o USB te minals.
If this happens, emove the metal object to esume no mal ope ation. If a sho t ci cuit is caused
by a metal object touching the male te minal of the connecting cable with the headlamp, einse t
o echa ge the batte y to esume no mal ope ation.

2. Do not mix batte ies of diffe ent b ands, sizes, capacities o types. Doing so may cause damage
to the headlamp o the batte ies being used.
3. If the lamp will not be used fo an extended pe iod, emove the batte y, o the lamp could be
damaged by elect olyte leakage o batte y explosion.
Battery Replacement
Unsc ew the locking nuts to inse t the batte y acco ding to the pola ity ma kings, and then
sc ew the locking nuts back in.
Headlamp Strap Assembly

1. Attach the headband to the headlamp as shown, by fi st sliding the band down to the bottom
of the slots. Then hook the top edge unde the top slot.
2. Adjust the headband by sliding the buckle to equi ed length.
3. Use the clips and buckles p ovided to etain the headlamp cable in the headband o top
headband mount.
4. Connect the batte y case male te minal to the headlamp cable female te minal, and attach the
batte y case to the belt.
Usa e and Maintenance
Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the headlamp and will void the
wa anty.
Fenix st ongly ecommends using quality disposable o echa geable Lithium batte y.
Long-te m use can esult in O- ing wea . To maintain a p ope wate seal, eplace the ing
with an app oved spa e.
Pe iodic cleaning of the batte y contacts imp oves the lamp's pe fo mance as di ty contacts
may cause the lamp to flicke , shine inte mittently o even fail to illuminate fo the following
easons:
A: The batte ies need eplacing.
Solution: Replace batte ies (Ensu e batte ies a e inse ted acco ding to the manufactu e ’s
specifications).
B: The th eads, PCB boa d contact o othe contacts a e di ty.
Solution: Clean the contact points with a cotton swab soaked in ubbing alcohol.

Warnin
The headlamp is a high-intensity lighting device capable of causing eye damage to the use o
othe s. Avoid shining the light di ectly into anyone’s eyes.
The headlamp will accumulate a lot of heat afte wo king in highest mode fo an extended pe iod
of time. Do not touch any metal pa t of the lamp head to p event scalding.
