Thank you for purchasing a FERRANTI product.
OBLIGATION
Please consult this assembly manual carefully
before proceeding with any operation on the
product.
INTRODUCTION
This assembly manual reects the technique at the time of pur-
chase and the specications in force at the current date of edi-
tion; it contains the information necessary for correct installation,
cleaning and disposal of the product at the end of its life.
FERRANTI S.R.L. reserves the right to make modications,
changes or improvements to the manual or to the product at any
time and without notice.
Use only the original mounting components provided.
ATTENTION
The manufacturer is not liable for damage to
property, persons and animals caused by ac-
cidents due to failure to comply with the in-
structions in this assembly manual.
The images are purely indicative and do not constitute a
commitment for the manufacturer and/or the Distributor.
Any proposal by the Customer regarding improvements to be
made to the product will be welcomed by FERRANTI S.R.L.,
which will evaluate their implementation.
INTENDED USE (PERMITTED USE).
The product has been designed to hold laying hens, chickens,
chicks, capons, turkeys, geese, ducks, and other farmyard
animals.
IMPROPER USE (NOT PERMITTED).
Any use other than the permitted one is to be considered “im-
proper use”; the Manufacturer therefore declines all responsibil-
ity for any damage caused to property, animals and/or persons.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
►MINI RAISED CHICKEN COOP (in sheet metal / insulated)
• Capacity: Up to 8 chickens.
• Suitable for hens, chickens, ducks, geese, etc.
• Sheet metal version: mesh base 25x25 mm wire 2 mm,
raised by 8 cm and provides protection from any predators
such as weasels, foxes and martens. The roof is made of gal-
vanised sheet metal.
• Insulated version: made with 35 mm thick roof insulation
panels, framed with sheet metal proles, the rear part in ma-
rine plywood and mesh and wood front. Its insulation is ideal
to protect from heat and cold and it includes an 8 cm raised

►GROUND – RAISED CHICKEN COOP: sheet metal / in-
sulated
• Standard version capacity: up to 12 hens (up to 20 if used
only as an overnight shelter).
• Maxi version capacity: up to 20 hens (up to 40 if used only
as a night shelter).
• The structure is made of galvanised sheet metal, with rear
part in treated marine plywood and mesh front, 25x25 mm
mesh 2 mm wire.
• Ground model: without platform; the hen house is suitable for
animals that roam on the ground.
• Raised model: including mesh base that ensures protection
from any predators such as: weasels, foxes and martens. The
structure of the base is made using tubular elements suitable
to support the weight of a person, thereby allowing entry.
• Insulated model - all models: to be used in those areas
where protection from the cold is required. The material used
to insulate the chicken coop is 100%, top-quality polyurethane.
• Door dimensions (WxH): 440x1170 mm.
• Includes a 1400x550 mm internal perch, feeder and trough.
• Accessories:

►ACCESSORY: MESH FENCE ENCLOSURE FOR CHICK-
EN COOP
Available on request.
Made of galvanised mesh size 25x25 mm, wire 2 mm; possibility
to add other modules.
The enclosure is free on one side to be installed in contact with
the front of the hen house, becoming the extension to allow the
hens to roam around on the ground during the day, and then be
locked at night inside the hen house in complete safety.

UNPACKING
►Place the structure near the nal installation site and on a
stable and horizontal area of the ground.
►Remove the packaging materials taking care not to damage
the components.
ATTENTION
DANGER! Keep out of the reach of chil-
dren and animals.
Packaging materials (plastic bags, straps, etc.)
can be a source of danger to health (e.g. su󰀨o-
cation).
►Divide the packaging materials according to their type and
dispose of them in accordance with the provisions in force
regarding the disposal of waste.
RECYCLING
All the packaging materials are recyclable and
must be disposed of in accordance with the lo-
cal legislation.

INSTALLATION
2x The assembly operations must be performed
by at least two persons.
For the assembly of the products, the use of
Personal Protective Equipment is always re-
commended: work gloves to protect the hands
from the danger of being cut.
RECOMMENDED TOOLS
Slotted Screwdriver - Cross Head Screwdriver - Wrench - Cutter.
Note: Tighten the screws completely only at the end and after
checking the square of the structure.
PHASE 1: CHICKEN COOP ASSEMBLY
Secure the side walls (A) to the rear wall (B) using:
●self-tapping screws (1L) for mod. IN SHEET METAL;
●screws (1C) and nuts (4L) for the INSULATED model.
►Attach the front wall (C) to the side walls (A) in the same way.
GRILLE SURFACE (ONLY RAISED MODEL)
►Pass the grille plate (D) under the structure; then attach it to
the rear wall (B) and to the front wall (C) using the screws
(3L) and nuts (4L).
►Position the ridge (E) on the top of the structure and secure
it with the self-tapping screws (2L).
►Recess the perch (F) (if present) to the side walls (A). Slide
it rst on the side and then on the other side and check its
stability.

2ENCLOSURE ASSEMBLY
►Cut the mesh on the front wall (C) in the desired position, attach
the feeders (G) and the trough (if present) by folding the tabs.
►Attach the access ladder (H) (if present) to the front wall (C).
Proceed with assembly of the enclosure (open area).

►Only RAISED model: attach the sheet metal panel (A) to the
bottom of the henhouse using the self-tapping screws (1R).
►Secure the mesh side walls (B1) of the enclosure with the front
wall of the hen house using the screws (2R) and nuts (3R).
►Depending on the length of the enclosure, continue to attach
additional mesh panels (B2, etc.)to the previous wall, us-
ing the same screws.
►Attach the front wall (C) to the mesh side walls (B) using
the screws (2R) and nuts (3R).
►Place the nishing mesh (D) at the top of the enclosure
structure and secure it to the mesh walls by means of
spring hooks (E).
CLEANING
CLEANING
Clean the structure periodically (or in the presen-
ce of obvious dirt). Sanitise, disinfect and clean the
inside of the kennel with suitable products that are not
harmful to the health of the person and the animal.
SCRAPPING AND DISPOSAL
RECYCLING
The materials that compose the structure must be
disposed of according to the type and procedures
provided for by the legislation in force in the country
of installation.
For further detailed information on the disposal of this product,
contact the municipal o󰀩ce, the local waste disposal service or
the store where it was purchased.
