Thefilterisidentifiedwiththefollowingdecal:

Filtrationsurface:Areathatallowswatertopasswhileretainingsuspendedparticles.
Lossofpressure(HEADLOSS):Itisthedifferenceinloadproducedbetweentwopointsofthe
sameflow.Thefrictionofthewaterwiththefiltermediumproducesalossofenergy.Thediluted
substancesaretrappedinthemeshgeneratingadecreaseintheporosityofthefiltermedium,
whichcausesanincreaseinthepressuredrop.
Thepressuredropmeasurementiscarriedoutbymeansofapressuretapontheinletmanifold
andanotheroneontheoutletmanifold.

INSTALLATION
1. Makesurethefilterflowdirectioniscorrect.
2. Placetheinletandoutletmanifolds,fixingtheflangeswiththeircorrespondinggaskets.
3. Place the pressure gauges, one on the inlet manifold and the otheronthewateroutlet
manifold.
4. Carryoutafirstmanualcleaningofthefiltermesh.
5. Checkthattheunionsaretight,turnonthewatersupplyandverifythattherearenoleaks.
6. Filtering.Openthewaterflowattherecommendedflowrateandataworkingpressureof
10kg/cm².
7. Cleanthefilterwhenthepressuregaugesindicateapressuredifferenceequaltoorgreater
than0.5kg/cm².
8. Cleaning. Disconnect the water flow and open the filter, depending on the model, by
looseningthehandleortheScrews.Removethecapandthenthefilter,cleanitbyapplying
highpressurewatertoitsoutersurfaceanduseabristlebrushontheinsideifnecessary.
Replaceandclosethefilterensuringthatthecapfitstightly.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Meshfilteringconsistsinthephysicalseparationbetweenwaterandthesubstancesthatare
suspended in it. When the mesh filter becomes clogged, it produces a pressure difference
betweenthewaterinletandoutlet.Themanualcleaningcycleisnecessary whenreachinga
pressuredifferenceof0,5kg/cm².Thewaterpassesfromtheinternalareaofthefiltertothe
externalonecausingtheaccumulationofdirtintheinternalpartofthemesh.
Maintenancerequiredforproperoperation:
Boardcheck.
Repaint.
Batterycheck(ifapplicable).
Thefiltermeshrequiresperiodicmanualcleaning,forthis:
1. Disconnectthepowersupplyandthewatersupply.
2. Openthedraincockinthe“CLOSE”positionandwaitforthefiltertodrain.
3. Loosenthescrewsonthecoverofthefilteredwateroutletarea.
4. Removethefiltercartridgeandcleanitwithwaterontheoutsideandacedarbrush
ontheinside.
5. Insertthemeshcartridgeandclosethelidmakingsureitistight.

PRODUCT WARRANTY
1. AllITMFILTERSproductsareguaranteedfor1yearfromthedateofinvoice.
2. The replacement of defective parts is covered by the warranty, being necessary to
indicatetheserialnumberandallowtheverificationbyourstaff.
3. Take into account the user manual for the installation of the product and check the
operatingparametersinthetechnicaltables.
4. Toobtainacorrectfiltration,thesizeofthefilterelementmustbesmallerthanthatof
thesubstancessuspendedinthewatertobefiltered.
5. Thiswarrantywillnotapplyintheeventofdamageordefectsproducedintheproduct
asaresultoforrelatedto:
i. Tearing,eliminationormanipulationoftheidentifyinglabeloftheproduct.
ii. Improperorunauthorizeduseoftheproductbythebuyer.
iii. Animproperassemblyorinstallationthatdoesnotcorrespondtothatestablished
byITMFILTERS.
iv. Thepertinentperiodiccleanings.
v. Theuseofwaterthatdoesnotmeettheestablishedqualityoris outside the
specificationsindicatedinthetechnicaltables.
vi. Auseofflowdiscordantwiththewaterqualityaccordingtotheparametersdefined
inthetechnicaltables.
vii. Pressuresthatdifferfromtheestablishedworkingpressure.
viii. Thewearofmaterialscausedbyfatigue,abrasionorhightemperatures.
ix. Any external alteration, modification or repair of the products, except by ITM
FILTERSanditstechnicalrepresentatives.
x. Damagesproducedduringthetransportoftheproduct.
xi. Thirdpartydamage,theftorvandalism.
6. AtITMFILTERSwearecommittedtoquality,whichiswhywehavetheISO9001,ISO
14001andISO45001certifications.Inaddition,duringthemanufactureofourfilterswe
haveestablishedourownqualitycontrolinwhichweensurethattheproductmeetsall
