Quick Start Guide

This quick start guide will show you how to use
this oximeter. For detailed instructions, safety
information, and troubleshooting, refer to the
user’s manual.
Intended Use
The oximeter can be used to measure human
hemoglobin saturation and heart rate by
insertion of the finger into the device. It is
suitable for family, clinical, hospital, oxygen bar,
and sports medicine use.

Parameter Setup
To enter parameter setup mode, you press the
power button. The asterisk (*) indicates that the
parameter can be changed. To change the
parameter, you press the power button again to
enter into the specific menu for that parameter.
Press the power button to toggle between menu
options or increase/decrease your chosen
parameter.
Operation
Batteries. Ensure there are working batteries in
the unit.
Preparation. Before each use, clean the patient’s
finger and the rubber surface inside the fingertip
oximeter with a rubbing alcohol soaked pad or
cotton ball.
Position. Insert one finger into the rubber
opening on the oximeter as shown, ensuring that
the nail faces up (towards the display screen).
Then, release the clamp.

Note: The oximeter will automatically turn off
after 8 seconds of inactivity.
Measure. Turn on the power button. Read data
from the display screen.
Settings
Enter measurement settings mode. Hold down
the power button. The oximeter will display
screen pages as below. You can scroll between
pages 1-3 by holding down the power button
again.

Change measurement settings. You can change
any of the measurement settings by pressing and
holding down the power button while the
desired setting is highlighted. Selecting +/-and
holding down the power button will set the way
the numbers are changed (+ to increase the
number, and –to decrease the number).
Data Analysis
Enter data analysis mode. Hold down the power
button to scroll between pages until you reach
the data analysis page 3/3 as shown above.
Begin a new analysis. Select Record. Hold down
the power button until the record status is on.
When the prompt asks to delete all data, select
OK. Return to page 3/3 and select Exit. Insert the

finger into the rubber opening to begin
measuring. The battery and rec symbols appear
during measurement. You must measure for a
minimum of 2 minutes. The maximum time you
can measure is 8 hours.
See the results. Remove the finger and wait for 8
seconds until the oximeter turns off. Turn on the
oximeter. Press and hold the power button to
enter the data analysis mode. Go to page 3/3.
The record status should be off, and summary
graph and statics should be ok, as shown above.
Press and hold the power button to select
Summary graph. You should see a page with the
SpO2 range, pulse rate (PR), and more, similar to
the one shown here:

From the data analysis page, select Statistics by
holding down the power button to bring up the
Analysis Results screen as shown below. You will
see elapsed time in hours (H), which is the
measurement duration. You will also see the
minimum and maximum SpO2 and PR.
Note: Summary graph and statistics cannot be
opened if data has not been recorded.
