fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the
following.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND CARE
1. Read all instructions before using heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin
touch hot surface. If provided, use handles when moving this heater.

children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and
unattended.
4. Always unplug the heater when not in use.

runners or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic areas where it will
not be tripped over.
9. CAUTION: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit
only one way in a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature. To do so
could result in an electric shock hazard.
10. This heater draws 12.5 amps during operation. To prevent overloading
a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that already has other
appliances working.
11. CAUTION: It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch; however,
a loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause
overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to
replace loose or worn outlet.
12. To disconnect the heater, first turn controls to the OFF position, then
grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord.
13. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the
heater.
14. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any
manner. Do not use on soft surface, such as a bed, where openings
may become blocked.
15. Aheater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in the
areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
16. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons.
17. CAUTION: Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension
cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use
an extension cord, the cord shall be No.14 AWG minimum size and
rated not less than 1875 watts.
18. The output of this heater may vary and its temperature may become
intense enough to burn exposed skin. Use of this heater is not

ELECTRICAL RATINGS
This product is rated 12.5 amps (1500W) at 110~120Volt AC, 60 Hz.
OPERATION
1. Place the heater on a firm level surface free from obstructions, and at
least 3 ft. (0.9m) away from any wall or combustible material.
2. With the Selector Knob in the OFF position, Plug the heater power cord
directly into a standard grounded 110~120 Volt AC outlet. Always operate
the heater in the upright position with the rubber feet on the floor.
3. Rotate wattage selector knob to the “1500W” position. This provides the
maximum heat output.
4. Rotate the “ THERMOSTAT” knob clockwise(right) to the “HIGH” setting
until the knob stops. The heater should begin heating and the fan should
start to blow warm air.
5. Allow the heater to operate until the room temperature reaches the
desired level, then slowly rotate the “THERMOSTAT” knob
counter-clockwise(left) until the heater cycles off. At this setting, the
heater will cycle on and off automatically to maintain this comfort level.
NOTE: Do not force knob beyond its normal stop position. It may be
necessary to make minor adjustments to the thermostat to maintain the
desired comfort level. Clockwise movement will increase the room
temperature. Counter-clockwise movement will decrease room
temperature.
6.To conserve energy, the heater may be operated at a lower wattage by
rotating control knob to the “ 1300 W” position.

7.When heater is not needed, rotate control knob to the “OFF” position,
remove the plug from outlet, and move heater to safe place for storage.

prevents glowing yet provides warm air, similar to forced-air furnace.
Some glow may occur where the moving air does not directly touch
the coils.

This heater is equipped with an internal thermal protector which causes
the unit to stop operating in the event the internal temperature exceeds
normal operating temperatures.
IF THE UNIT SHUTS DOWN
1)TURN MODE TO OFF
2)UNPLUG UNIT AND WAIT 10 MINUTES
3)PLUG IN AND TURN ON
FAN OPERATION
To use the unit as a cooling air circulator without heat, turn the selector
knob to FAN and the thermostat to its highest setting.
IF YOUR HEATER FAILS TO OPERATE:
Be sure it is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is working.
Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction turn the heater OFF.
Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for it to cool. Carefully
remove the obstruction. Plug the heater back in and restart it as
described under OPERATION.
If you still notice the same malfunction mentioned above, remove the
plug from the socket and have the appliance serviced by authorized
service personnel only.
Check that the thermostat is not set too low. With the selector knob set to
a heat setting, turn the thermostat up (clockwise) until the heater restarts.
