Gemini Universal Media Cards from Focus Enhancements push the typical boundaries of
standard decoder cards. With the Gemini family, you’ll have the flexibility you need to
meet and exceed your digital media integration requirements.
Gemini Universal Media Cards
Whether you’re producing digital content for an interactive application or a full-motion
video display, the Gemini Universal Media Cards bring your work to life in vibrant, accu-
rate color. With its ability to process high-resolution, 32-bit graphics and video simultane-
ously—including still, full-motion, and standard- or high-definition video—Gemini delivers
the power and flexibility you need. In addition, its 16:9 aspect ratio is perfect for plasma
displays used in high-definition digital signage applications.
Both Windows and Linux drivers are available for Gemini, along with a complete C pro-
gramming library that includes sample source code and function calls. In addition, the
Gemini 2 card provides backward-compatiblility with the Gemini 1 card, making it easy to
integrate existing applications when you upgrade.

Gemini 1 Universal Media Card
With the Gemini 1 Universal Media Card, you can support single-channel high-definition
MPEG-2 hardware decoding and blend 32-bit graphics with digital sound simultaneously.
Gemini 2 Universal Media Card
With the Gemini 2 Universal Media Card, you can support two independent channels of
MPEG-2 for standard- and high-definition hardware decoding and get outstanding visual
clarity and digital sound.
