• Installation is to be performed only by a qualified technician according to the
instructions provided and in accordance with legal requirements and acknowledged
rules of technology.
• All technical connection regulations specified by the local electric utility companies
must be complied with.
• The device is provided for mounting on 35 mm DIN rails (DIN EN 50 022).
• The device is to be used in closed, dry rooms only.
• The device must not be used on safety facilities (e.g. emergency exit doors, fire-
protection facilities, etc.).

Electronic contactor-timer with two channels, menu-guided display.
84 memory locations for switch-on and switch-off times within the daily and weekly
programs.
Switchable between summertime and wintertime mode. With 10 years reserve power in
the event of a power outage. Easy to operate via 4 keys in a row with date-controlled
holiday program, pulse program, cycle program and 2 additional external control
inputs (keys, switches, inactive). Integrated operating hours meter, resettable and with
a service function for monitoring maintenance intervals, 230 V AC.

16. Manual and Continuous Switch Setting
Manual switch setting:
Independent of the timer's programming, it is also possible to manually trigger a
switching process.
Continuous switch setting:
Independent of the timer's programming, it is also possible to set the switch output to
"on".
Manual and continuous switch setting off:
All switching processes are performed by the timer's program.
Manual and continuous switch setting can be set in the MANUAL menu or by pressing
the corresponding key combination.
A: Key combination for channel C1
B: Key combination for channel C2
16.1 Manual switching is activated by simultaneously pressing both keys.
16.2 Continuous switching is activated by simultaneously pressing both keys.
16.3 Manual and continuous switching is deactivated by simultaneously pressing both
keys.
17. PIN Code
The PIN code can be set in the OPTIONS menu.
18. External Input
The external input can be set in the OPTIONS menu.
Use a key without a glow-lamp trace.
19. Using a Memory Card
Avoid mechanical pressure or contamination when storing or transporting otherwise.
19.1 Insert the memory card into the timer switch.
19.2 Read the saved switching times, load them into or read them from the timer switch or
start the Obelisk program.
19.3 After completing programming, pull out the memory card and store it in the cover.

20. Programming - An Example
In a public building there are 2 rooms that each have one urinal gully. The urinal gullies
are to be flushed periodically. There is only one water inlet for both urinal gullies, i.e.
both gullies must not be flushed simultaneously.
The building is open from 9:00 through 24:00.
1. Program:

From 9:00 am, gully 1 is flushed for 8 seconds ever 20 minutes.
2. Program:
Result:
Gully 2 is also flushed for 8 seconds every 20 minutes, however with a 10 minute
delay.
Repeat this programming for all other weekdays.
