Prima di iniziare
Controllare sempre la compatibilità tra i diametri
di accoppiamento del tubo reggisella e del telaio
su cui si desidera montare il componente.
Il diametro del reggisella telescopico FRM Obi1 è
27,2mm, nel caso non sia direttamente compatibile
con il vostro telaio, FRM offre la possibilità di
acquistare le riduzioni per telai con tubo sella
da 30,9mm e 31,6mm.(Fig.01)
ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO
• Ingrassare il tubo reggisella ed inserirlo nel
telaio all’altezza voluta fino a raggiungere almeno
il punto di inserimento minimo,(Fig.02) posizionan-
do il carter nella parte posteriore.(Fig.03)
• Inserire il pin all’interno del foro del reg-
gisella in prossimità della parte superiore.”A”
• Inserire le 2 viti M6x50mm all’interno dei fori
del pin accertandosi che la testa della vite appog-
gi sulla svasatura del pin.”B”
• Ingrassare il filetto delle viti e avvitare i cava-
lieri per 2-3 giri.”C”
• Appoggiare la culla del reggisella sull'alloggio
del tubo e collocare le slitte della sella negli
alloggi appositi della culla.”D”
• Ruotare i cavalieri di 90° in modo tale da
posizionarli tra le slitte e la scocca della sella.
• Avvitare le viti fino a che i cavalieri non appog-
giano completamente sulle slitte della sella.
• Regolare la posizione della sella e l’altezza
voluta del reggisella.
• Serrare tutte le viti rispettando le coppie di
serraggio indicate dal produttore.
• Posizionare il comando remoto sul manubrio verifican-
do che il registro sia completamente avvitato.”E”
• Tagliare la guaina alla lunghezza corretta e
posizionare il capocorda che andrà ad alloggiare
nell' apposita sede situata nel carter del reg-
gisella.“F”
• Inserire il cavo del reggisella all'interno
della guaina, proseguire all'interno della curva
e del foro del comando remoto.”G”
• Tenere in tensione il cavo ed avvitare il grano
di serraggio. Tagliare il cavo ed istallare il
capocorda. “H”
• Nel caso fosse necessario, svitare leggermente
il registro in modo tale da aumentare la tensione
del cavo
ATTENZIONE: La linea ad 80mm dal fondo del tubo
sella con la indicazione MAX indica il limite mas-
simo fuori dal quale il reggisella non deve uscire
dal telaio.
Before to start
Always check the compatibility between the diame-
ters of the dropper post and the frame.
The diameter of the FRM Obi1 dropper post is 27,2mm
and if it is not immediately compatible with your
frame, FRM offers the possibility of a lightweight
aluminium shim both for 31,6mm and 30,9mm frames.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
• Put dedicated grease on the dropper post and
insert it into the frame until the right height.
The dropper post must be inserted at least to the
Minimum Insertion Mark (MAX).(Fig.02) You need to
position the black carter of the dropper post on
the back.(Fig.3)
• Insert the Pin on the upper hole of the dropper
post.”A”
• Insert the two M6x50mm bolts in the two holes of
the inserted pin. Be careful that the rounded head
of the bolts is specifically designed to couple in
the countersink of the black pin.”B”
• Put the grease on the threads of the two bolts
and tighten the two clamps for 2-3 turns.”C”
• Insert the craddle in its housing and fix the
saddle rails in their dedicated housing.”D”
• Turn the two clamps for 90° such that they will
be positioned between the saddle shell and rails.
• Tighten the two bolts until the clamps are fixed
to the sadlle rails
• Adjust the saddle to the needed position.
• Using a calibrated torque wrench, torque both
saddle clamp bolts evenly to the torque specifica-
tion of the product.
• Position the remote control on the handlebar ver-
ifying that the register bolt is completely
screwed.”E”
• Cut the housing at the correct lenght and put one
endcap on the part of the housing that will fit on
the carter of the dropper post.“F”
• Insert the cable inside the housing, letting it
go through the guide pipe and the hole on the
remote control and lever.”G”
• Keep the cable under tension and tighten the grub
screw. Cut the cable and use the cabe crimps.“H”
• You can use the cable register right after the
guide pipe to register the tension on the cable.
ATTENTION: The line at 80mm from the bottom of the
dropper post indicates the Minimum Insertion point.
You should never use the dropper post if it does
not respect this line.
