BELANGRIJKE
VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
• Dit apparaat is uitsluitend voor gebruik binnenshuis.
• Controleer apparaat, stekker en elektrokabel voor gebruik op
beschadigingen. Bij beschadigingen (ook later, of na bijvoorbeeld een
val) of gestoorde werking het apparaat niet verder gebruiken maar ter
reparatie aanbieden bij leverancier / gekwaliceerd elektricien. Maak
het apparaat niet zelf open, verwijder geen onderdelen/schroeven o.i.d.
en voer zelf nooit reparaties uit!
• Gebruik uitsluitend een geaard stopcontact.
• Controleer voor elk gebruik of de spanning op het te gebruiken
stopcontact gelijk is aan het voltage, vermeld op het typeplaatje van
het apparaat: 220-240V / 50Hz.
• Vermijd zo mogelijk verlengkabels. Indien onvermijdelijk, gebruik dan
een goedgekeurde kabel van voldoende vermogen. Rol een haspel
helemaal af.
• De elektrokabel mag geen scherpe, hete of bewegende voorwerpen
raken, niet om de ventilator worden gedraaid en niet te strak worden
gebogen of opgerold.
• Zorg altijd voor een stevige, vlakke en horizontale ondergrond.
• Raak apparaat of stekker nooit met natte handen aan!
• Hang niets over het apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat opwaaiende gordijnen,
kleden enz. niet bij de ventilator kunnen komen.
• Steek nooit een vinger, pen of enig ander voorwerp door het
beschermrooster de werkende ventilator in!
• Spuit geen middelen (anti-insect, schoonmaak etc.) op of in de
ventilator.
• Gebruik en bewaar de ventilator niet:
- op plaatsen waar hij nat kan worden of in water kan vallen
- bij lichtontvlambare-, explosiegevaarlijke of gasvormige stoffen
- bij zuren, alkali, olie en andere erosieveroorzakende stoffen

• Sluit de ventilator niet aan op een timer of een dimmer. Sluit ook
geen accessoires op het apparaat aan die niet door de fabrikant zijn
aanbevolen.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit zonder de beschermende roosters.
• Probeer nooit het apparaat andersom te laten draaien of te stoppen,
anders dan op de voorgeschreven wijze.
• Doop apparaat, kabel of stekker nooit in vloeistof!
• Ventilator eerst uitschakelen en stekker uit stopcontact nemen voor u
hem verplaatst, schoonmaakt of onderhoud uitvoert.
• Stel geen personen (i.h.b. baby’s, ouderen en personen die zichzelf niet
kunnen verplaatsen) voor langere tijd bloot aan de koude luchtstroom.
• Laat een werkend apparaat nooit zonder toezicht achter maar schakel
het uit en neem de stekker uit het stopcontact. Neem altijd de stekker
uit het stopcontact als het apparaat niet in gebruik is. Trek daartoe niet
aan de elektrokabel maar neem de stekker in de hand.
• Zorg voor zorgvuldig toezicht wanneer dit apparaat wordt gebruikt in
de aanwezigheid van kinderen, handelingsonbekwame personen of
huisdieren. Dit apparaat is niet geschikt om te worden gebruikt door
kinderen of personen met een lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of mentale
beperking of met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, ongeacht of er
toezicht dan wel voor hun welzijn verantwoordelijken aanwezig zijn.
Houd hen, en ook huisdieren, uit de buurt van het apparaat.

• Dit apparaat kan door kinderen van 8 jaar en ouder en personen
met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vaardigheden of
gebrek aan ervaring en kennis worden gebruikt wanneer er toezicht
op hen wordt gehouden of wanneer zij instructies hebben ontvangen
aangaande het op veilige wijze gebruiken van het apparaat en
begrijpen welke gevaren eraan verbonden zijn. Kinderen mogen niet
met het apparaat spelen. Reiniging en gebruikersonderhoud mogen
niet door kinderen zonder toezicht worden uitgevoerd.
• Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluiten voor het doel en op de wijze, beschreven
in dit boekje. Elk ander gebruik kan gevaar opleveren (brand, letsel,
schade, elektrische schok enz.) en doet de aansprakelijkheid van de
leverancier en de garantie vervallen.
WERKING
Stel, voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt, vast dat alle veiligheidsvoor-
schriften in acht zijn genomen.
• Bedieningsknop (achterkant) op 0
• Steek de stekker in het stopcontact
• Kies de gewenste snelheid:
1= laag (aangenaam windje)
2= gemiddeld (krachtige wind)
3= hoog (stormachtige wind)
Terug naar 0= uitschakelen
Voor uitschakelen altijd eerst knop op 0, dan de stekker uit het stopcontact!

AANPASSEN BLAASRICHTING
Altijd ventilator uitschakelen en stekker uit stopcontact wanneer u de blaas-
richting aanpast! Neem daartoe het veiligheidsrooster rond de ventilatorbla-
den in beide handen en draai het op de gewenste stand.
De ventilatoren kunnen ± 150° kantelen.
SCHOONMAAK EN ONDERHOUD
Altijd ventilator uitschakelen en stekker uit stopcontact wanneer u schoon-
maakt of onderhoud uitvoert!
Verwijder het voorste rooster door de 6 kleine schroefjes en moertjes in de
rand los te draaien. Reinig rooster en ventilatorbladen met een (evt. iets
vochtige) zachte doek. Gebruik geen bijtende of krassende reinigingsmid-
delen! Droog alles goed na.
Houd het motorhuis en zijn openingen stof- en neerslagvrij met een stofzui-
ger en/of borsteltje. Hier geen water gebruiken!
Meer onderhoud is niet nodig. Wend u met problemen tot uw leverancier
of elektricien. Sluit het veiligheidsrooster weer voor u de ventilator weer in
gebruik neemt.
Sla de ventilator na het seizoen op op een veilige, droge, niet extreem
warme of koude plaats, liefst in originele verpakking

RECYCLING
Binnen de EU betekent dit symbool dat dit pro-
duct niet met het normale huishoudelijke afval mag
worden afgevoerd. Afgedankte apparaten bevatten
waardevolle materialen die hergebruikt kunnen en
moeten worden, om het milieu en de gezondheid
niet te schaden door ongereguleerde afvalinzame-
ling. Breng afgedankte apparatuur daarom naar een
daarvoor aangewezen inzamelpunt of wend u tot het
bedrijf waar u het apparaat gekocht hebt. Zij kunnen
er voor zorgen dat zoveel mogelijk onderdelen van
het apparaat hergebruikt worden.

GENERAL
SAFETY GUIDELINES
• This device is only to be used indoors.
• Check fan, plug and cable for damage before use. If you discover any
damage (even if this is found later, after a fall for example) or if the
device fails to operate properly, do not use and ask a supplier/trained
electrician to repair it. Never open up the device, remove components/
screws or carry out repairs yourself!
• Only use an earthed socket.
• Before every use, check that the voltage on the socket to be used
matches the voltage indicated on the device’s specication plate:
23V / 50Hz.
• Avoid the use of extension cables. If unavoidable, use an approved
cable with sufcient power. Completely unroll the cable.
• The electrical cable may never come into contact with sharp, hot or
moving objects, must not be wound around the fan and must not be
bent or rolled up too tightly.
• Always ensure that the oor is sturdy, at and horizontal.
• Never touch the device with wet hands!
• Never hang things over the device. Ensure that curtains, clothing etc do
not come into the vicinity of the fan.
• Never insert a nger, pen or any other object through the protective
grille when the fan is in use!
• Never spray any products (anti-insect, cleaning agent etc) on or in
the fan.
• Do not store or use the fan:
- in locations where it could become wet or fall into water;
- near ammable, explosive or gaseous substances;
- near acids, alkalis, oil or other corrosive substances.

• Never connect the fan to a timer or dimmer. Do not connect the fan to
accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never use the fan without the protective grids.
• Never try to let the fan rotate in the opposite direction or to stop it in a
manner other than what is prescribed.
• Never immerse the device, cable or plug in liquid!
• First turn off the fan and then remove the plug from the socket before
moving, cleaning or carrying out maintenance.
• Do not expose persons (in particular babies, elderly people and
immobile persons) to the cold air stream for a long period.
• Never leave an operating fan without supervision; switch it off and
remove the plug from the wall outlet. Always remove the plug from the
wall outlet if the fan is not used. Never pull the electric cable, but grab
the plug.
• Ensure strict supervision when using the fan in the presence of children,
incapacitated persons or pets. This device is not suitable to be used by
children or persons with a physical, sensual or mental disability or those
who lack experience and knowledge, irrespective of whether they are
being supervised or there is a responsible person present. Keep these
persons and household pets out of the vicinity of the fan.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• This device should only be used for the purposes set out in the booklet.
Any other usage may be dangerous (could cause re, injury, damage,
electric shock etc), will invalidate the guarantee and no liability will be
taken by the supplier.

OPERATION
Before using the device, make sure all of the safety guidelines have been
taken into account.
• Operation button (at back) to 0.
• Insert the plug into the socket.
• Choose the setting desired:
1= low (pleasant breeze)
2= average (powerful breeze)
3= high (very powerful wind)
Back to 0 = switch off
In order to switch off, always turn the button to 0 then take the plug out of
the socket!

CHANGING WIND DIRECTION
Always switch the fan off and remove plug from socket before changing
wind direction! Take the safety grille in both hands and turn it to the desired
direction.
The fans can be tilted by approximately 150°.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always turn the fan off and take plug out of socket before cleaning or car-
rying out maintenance work!
You can remove the front grid by loosening the six little screws and nuts
located at the edge. Clean the grille and fan blades with a (slightly humid)
soft cloth. Do not use a corrosive or abrasive cleaning agent!
Dry everything properly.
Keep the engine housing and the opening free from dust and dirt with a
vacuum and/or brush. Do not use any water here!
Further maintenance is not required. Please consult your supplier or an
electrician if you have any problems.
Close the safety grille again (including screw) before using the fan.
Store the fan at the end of the season in a safe, dry place that is not subject
to extremes of temperature, preferably in its original packaging.

REMOVAL
In the EU this symbol indicates that this product may
not be disposed of as ordinary household waste. Old
equipment contains valuable materials, suitable for
recycling. These materials should be made suitable
for reuse in order to prevent any adverse effects to
health and the environment caused by unregulated
waste collection.
Therefore, please make sure that you bring old
equipment to a designated collection point. Alter-
natively, contact the original supplier, who can make
sure that as many of the components as possible can
be recycled.
