APPLICATION
This product is intended to be used to provide respiratory protection to the wearer from a range of solid and non-
volatile liquid airborne particles such as dust, smoke and aerosols that result principally from the disintegration or
general processing of minerals and other materials.
CHARACTERISTICS
•Five layered construction for maximum protection.
•Lightweight for easy breathing and speaking.
•Foam nose seal with adjustable aluminium nose clip and welded elastic ear loops ensuring a
comfortable, contoured and secure fit.
•SANS50149:2003 approved
•Premium comfort fit
WARNINGS AND LIMITATIONS
This product should only be worn where the employer has determined that FFP2 Respirators are appropriate for
the workplace hazards and where the wearer has been trained in the products use.
This product is not intended for use as a surgical mask
This product is intended for single use only to a maximum of 1 work shift (8 hours) at a time
Use before expiry date indicated on pack.
The efficiency of the filter deteriorates as the filter medium becomes clogged especially in the presence of oil
and oil mists.
Facial hair, certain hairstyles and other facial characteristics may impact on facial seal and thus the effective use
of this product. A facial fit test should be conducted prior to use (see fitting instructions).

Do not attempt to disinfect, clean, alter, modify or repair this product in any way.
Use only in accordance with the provided instructions, labels and limitations relating to this product.
This product must be replaced subsequent to:
•a single work shift
•dust penetration occurring
•mask becoming damaged
Report immediately to the Health and Safety representative should any of the following occur:
•Breathing becomes difficult
•Dizziness or other signs of distress
Do not use the product in the following conditions:
•Atmospheres containing explosives, radioactive substances, fumes, toxic gases, enzymes or
vapours
•Atmospheres where there may be a deficiency of oxygen
•Atmospheres where the particulate concentration exceeds 10 x the PEL Permissable
Exposure Level
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Hold the respirator in your hand with the hollow side facing upwards and the nose clip at your fingertips,
allowing the headbands to hang freely over the edges of your hand.
2. Place the bottom edge of the mask below your chin and press the mask firmly against your face,
covering your mouth and nose, with the nose clip at the bridge of your nose.
3. Stretch and position the top band high on the back of the head. Stretch the bottom band over the head
and position below the ears for best fit
4. Pinch the nose clip to bend around the nose creating a snug seal.
FIT TEST: Cup both hands over the respirator and exhale suddenly and forcefully. If air escapes around the
nose, adjust and tighten the nose clip to the shape of the nose. If air escapes around the edges of the
respirator, reposition the head bands for a better fit. Retest the seal and repeat the procedure until the
respirator is sealed properly.
DO NOT enter the hazardous environment if a proper fit cannot be achieved.
