1 - INTRODUZIONE
1.1 - PREMESSA GENERALE
IMPORTANTE:
Leggere attentamente le avvertenze sotto riportate
prima di utilizzare l’attrezzatura.
• Molti incidenti sono causati dall’insufficiente
conoscenza e dalla mancata applicazione delle regole
di sicurezza da mettere in pratica durante l’utilizzo
e le operazioni di manutenzione dell’attrezzatura.
• L’attrezzatura deve essere utilizzata da un operatore
in possesso di un’esperienza comprovata, non
sostituibile con la semplice lettura del manuale
allegato all’attrezzatura.
• Per l’utilizzo dell’attrezzatura e per evitare incidenti,
l’operatore è tenuto a leggere, comprendere e
attenersi a tutte le precauzioni e le avvertenze
contenute in questo manuale.
• E’ fatto assoluto divieto a chiunque di utilizzare
l’attrezzatura per usi diversi da quelli espressamente
previsti e documentati.
• Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali
incidenti o danni a persone o cose insorgenti dalla
mancata osservanza sia delle “ Norme di sicurezza
vigenti” sia delle norme riportate nel presente
manuale.

1.1.a - SERVIZIO DI ASSISTENZA
Per eventuali interventi di riparazione o di revisione del
prodotto rivolgersi presso il rivenditore dove l’attrezzatura
è stata acquistata o presso la GUSELLA BAKKER
PROD. o presso un punto di assistenza autorizzato.
1.1.b - PARTI DI RICAMBIO
Devono essere utilizzati solo ricambi originali forniti dal
costruttore. L’utilizzo di ricambi non originali fa decadere
le condizioni di garanzia e rende l’utente stesso
responsabile per eventuali incidenti dovuti alla
inadeguatezza dei
componenti non originali.
Non attendere che i componenti siano logorati dall’uso,
sostituire un componente al momento opportuno
significa un migliore funzionamento della macchina e
contemporaneamente un ri sparmio dovuto al fatto che
si evitano danni maggiori.
1.1.c - MANUALE D’USO E MANUTENZIONE
• Il manuale di uso e manutenzione è destinato
ai responsabili di: installazione, manutenzione,
riparazione e a tutti gli operatori che useranno
l’attrezzatura.
• All’interno di questo manuale sarà indicato il giusto
utilizzo per il quale l’attrezzatura è stata progettata
e costruita.
1 - INTRODUCTION
1.1 - GENERAL FOREWORD
IMPORTANT:
Carefully read the instructions below before using
the equipment.
• Many accidents are caused by insufficient knowledge
and lack of application of safety rules to be put into
practice during use and operations of maintenance
of equipment.
• The equipment must be used by an operator in
possession of proven experience, not replaceable by
simply reading the manual attached to the equipment.
• To use equipment and to avoid accidents, the
operator is required to read, understand and follow all
precautions and warnings contained in this manual.
• It is strictly forbidden for anyone to use the equipment
for purposes other than those expressly planned and
documented.
• The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for any
accidents or damage to persons or property arising
from failure to observe both the “Existing safety
Regulations” and the rules included in this manual.
• The present manual and the attached documentation
must be carefully stored and at the workplace of the
equipment, so as to be readily available for quick
reference.
• The diagrammatic designs in this manual are only
indicative, uniquely having an explanatory function.
1.1.a - ASSISTANCE SERVICE
For any repairs or revision of product contact the
dealer where the equipment was purchased or
at GUSELLA BAKKER PROD. or at an
authorized service point.
1.1.b - REPLACEMENT PARTS
Only original parts supplied by the manufacturer may
be used.
The use of non-original parts invalidates the guaranty
conditions and makes the user responsible for any
accidents due to inadequacy of non-original components.
Do not wait for the components to be worn out, replacing
components at the appropriate time signifies better
functioning of the machine and at the same time a saving
because it will prevent greater damage.
1.1.c - USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
• The manual of use and maintenance is intended
for those responsible for: installation, maintenance,
reparation and to all operators who will use
equipment.
• Within this manual the propeuse for which the
equipment was designed and built is contained.

integrante dell’attrezzatura fino alla demolizione della
stessa.
• In caso di smarrimento o di danneggiamento del
manuale, deve esserne tempestivamente richiesta
una nuova copia al costruttore mediante lettera
raccomandata, indicando i seguenti dati della
macchina: modello, tipo, numero di matricola, anno
di costruzione.
• Il manuale di uso e manutenzione è da considerarsi
riferito esclusivamente all’attrezzatura che esso
accompagna alla consegna: il costruttore si riserva
la facoltà di apporre modifiche all’attrezzatura e ai
manuali relativi in qualsiasi momento.
• Si invitano gli utenti, in caso di cessione o di vendita
dell’attrezzatura, a cedere anche il manuale relativo e
a segnalarne il nuovo proprietario al costruttore.
• Il costruttore si riserva il diritto di aggiornare i modelli
in produzione e i relativi manuali, senza l’obbligo di
avvisare i precedenti acquirenti.
1.1.d - MODALITÀ DI CONSULTAZIONE DEL
MANUALE
Per identificare i messaggi di sicurezza inseriti in questo
manuale sono stati usati i seguenti simboli:
ATTENZIONE / PERICOLO
Avverte che esiste un serio pericolo; senza usare le
dovute precauzioni è probabile che l’operatore o terzi
possano incorrere in gravi infortuni o morte.
AVVERTENZA:
Avverte che esiste un pericolo per l’integrità
dell’attrezzatura; se non si utilizzano le dovute
precauzioni c’è il pericolo di danneggiare l’ attrezzatura
che indirettamente potrebbe causare un incidente.
IMPORTANTE/NOTA:
Richiama l’attenzione su importanti informazioni che il
personale addetto deve conoscere e tenere presente
per il corretto funzionamento della macchina.
COPPIA DI SERRAGGIO:
Parti per le quali è richiesta una speciale attenzione
per la coppia di serraggio durante il montaggio.
All’interno del presente manuale si utilizza il termine:
• “ATTREZZATURA” per indicare la benna a polipo.
• “MACCHINA” per indicare il mezzo di sollevamento
sul quale viene installata l’attrezzatura.
• “INTERFACCIA” per indicare la staffa di collegamento
attrezzatura-macchina.
1.2 - RIFERIMENTI NORMATIVI
La presente attrezzatura è conforme con la Direttiva
Macchine come indicato nella “DICHIARAZIONE DI
CONFORMITÀ” allegata.
Per l’attrezzatura sono valide le norme di utilizzo solitamente
applicate ai macchinari utilizzati in ambito edile.
La conformità dell’attrezzatura alla direttiva macchine
è valida solo se anche la macchina sulla quale viene
installata è conforme a tale direttiva.
• The manual for use and maintenance must be part
integral of the equipment through to the demolitionof
the same.
• In case of loss of or damage to the manual, replacement
must quicly be applied for by registered mail to the
manufacturer, indicating the following machine data:
model, type, serial number, year of construction.
•The manual for use and maintenance is considered
as referring exclusively to the equipment that it
accompanies on delivery: the manufacturer reserves
the right to effect modifications to the equipment and
relative manuals at any time.
• The users are encouraged, in case of transfer or sale
of the equipment, to transfer the relative manual and
to notify the manufacturer of the new owner.
• The manufacturer reserves the right to update models
in production and related manuals, without the
obligation to notify previous purchasers.
1.1.d - HOW TO USE THE MANUAL
To identify safety care, notices entered into this manual
using the following symbols:
ATTENTION/DANGER
This warns that there is a serious danger, without
using precautions it is probable that the operator or
third partiescan incur serious injury or death.
NOTICE:
This warns that there is a danger to the integrity of
the equipment; if you are not using the appropriate
precautions there is the danger of damaging the
equipment which indirectly could cause an accident.
IMPORTANT/NOTE:
Draws attention to important information that the
personnel involved must know and remember for
proper functioning of the machine.
TIGHTENING TORQUE:
Parts for which special attention is required for torque
tightening during assembly.
Within this manual the terms used are:
• “EQUIPMENT” to indicate the polyp-grab (orange-peel) bucket.
• “MACHINE” to indicate the (vehicle) raising means
and on which the equipment is installed.
• “INTERFACE” to indicate the bracket connection
equipment-machine
1.2 - REFERENCE NORMATIVES
The present equipment complies with the Machine
Directive as shown in the attached “DECLARATION OF
CONFORMITY”.
For this equipment, the valid normatives of use are those
generally applied to machinery used in the construction field.
The conformity of the equipment to the machine directive
is valid only if the machine on which it is mountedis in
accordance with that directive.

1.3 - RESPONSABILITA’ DEL COSTRUTTORE
Il costruttore, GUSELLA BAKKER PROD., non si riterrà
responsabile di inconvenienti, rotture, incidenti ecc. dovuti
alla non conoscenza (o comunque alla non applicazione)
delle prescrizioni contenute nel presente manuale.
Lo stesso dicasi per l’esecuzione di modifiche
e/o l’ installazione di componenti non autorizzati
preventivamente.
In particolare GUSELLA BAKKER PROD. declina
ogni responsabilità per danni a persone o cose
derivanti da:
• Calamità naturali.
• Manovre errate.
• Mancanza o carenza di manutenzione.
• Uso non adeguato dell’attrezzatura o utilizzo della
stessa da parte di personale non autorizzato.
• Uso non conforme alla relativa normativa nazionale
nel paese di utilizzo.
• Inosservanza delle istruzioni e dei divieti.
• Installazione scorretta.
• Alimentazione difettosa (impurità presenti nell’olio
idraulico o tarature delle valvole errate).
• Utilizzo di ricambi non originali.
• Mancata compilazione della scheda interventi.
• Eventi eccezionali.
• Innosservanza delle vigenti norme di sicurezza
relative al sollevamento ed allo spostamento di
materiali dentro e fuori della stabilimento.
1.4 - TIPO DI UTILIZZO E DIVIETI
1.4.a - USO PREVISTO
L’attrezzatura della serie SHE è destinata alla raccolta e
movimentazione di materiali sfusi come: rottame ferroso o
metallico, trucioli, detriti, scarti di lavorazione in generale,
vetro, macerie, rifiuti, ecc..
Qualsiasi altro utilizzo rende l’utilizzatore l’unico
responsabile per danni a persone e/o cose e fa decadere
qualsiasi condizione di garanzia.
1.4.b - DIVIETI
Si riportano di seguito situazioni di divieto d’uso che
possono creare condizioni di pericolo e danneggiamenti
all’attrezzatura dovuti alla non corretta osservanza delle
indicazioni elencate:
• È vietato sollevare materiali con caratteristiche
diverse da quelle precedentemente descritte.
• È vietato sollevare carichi tramite l’attrezzatura
superiori alla portata dell’attrezzatura stessa.
• È vietato sollevare carichi superiori a 1000 Kg mediante
il gancio posto nella parte inferiore dell’attrezzatura.
• È vietato rilasciare il carico dell’attrezzatura prima di
aver terminato le precedenti manovre di spostamento
della macchina o di movimentazione del braccio della
stessa.Evitare brusche oscillazioni dell’attrezzatura
(con o senza carico).
• È vietato transitare con il carico sospeso in luoghi
dove un’eventuale caduta del carico potrebbe
costituire pericolo o causare danni a persone, cose
e animali.
• È vietato utilizzare l’attrezzatura aperta o semichiusa
per comprimere i materiali.
1.3 - RESPONSIBILITY OF MANUFACTURER

erroneous valve calibration).
• Use of non-original parts.
• Failure to complete the record card of interventions.
• Exceptional events.
• Failure to observe the applicable safety standards
relating to lifting and moving of materials inside and
outside the factory.
1.4 - USAGES AND PROHIBITIONS
1.4.a - INTENDED USE
The equipment of the series SHE is intended for the
collection and handling of bulk materials such as: ferrous
or metalic scrap, shavings, debris, discarded work
materials in general, glass, rubble, refuse, etc.
Any other use renders the user solely responsible for
damage to persons and/or things, and renders any
condition of guaranty invalid.
1.4.b - PROHIBITIONS
The following list of prohibited use situations can create
conditions of danger and damage to equipment due to
incorrect compliance with the listed indications:
• It is prohibited to lift materials with characteristics
different from those previously described.
• It is prohibited to lift loads by the equipment beyond
the capacity of the equipment itself.
• It is prohibited to lift loads in excess of
1000 Kg by
the hook in the lower part of the equipment.
• It is prohibited to release the load of the equipment
before having first finished the machine shifting
maneuver or the handling of the arm of the same.
Avoid brusque swinging movements of the equipment
(with or without load).
• It is prohibited to move with a suspended load
in places where a possible fall of the load could
constitute danger or cause damage to persons, things
and animals.
• It is prohibited to use equipment, open or half-closed
to compress materials.

• È vietato utilizzare l’attrezzatura per impieghi diversi
da quelli precedentemente descritti, come strappare
o trainare qualsiasi oggetto in quanto l’attrezzatura,
l’interfaccia e un’eventuale rotore, sono progettati
per sopportare solo carichi verticali.
• È assolutamente vietato il sollevamento e la presa
di persone o animali.
• È assolutamente vietato abbandonare la macchina
con carichi sospesi.
• È assolutamente vietato transitare nel raggio di
azione in cui la macchina e l’attrezzatura operano.
Non utilizzare l’attrezzatura se non si è prima
provveduto a recintare l’area di lavoro impedendo
l’accesso di persone e di animali. Qualora non fosse
possibile recitare l’area di manovra, è responsabilità
dell’operatore accertarsi che non ci siano persone o
animali nel raggio di 20 metri.
1.5 - LIMITAZIONI D’USO
• Evitare l’utilizzo dell’attrezzatura in ambienti a
contatto con acqua marina o salmastra e in condizioni
atmosferiche particolarmente sfavorevoli.
• In caso di movimentazione di materiali caldi o di
materiale sfuso a grana fine, è bene procedere
all’ingrassaggio dei componenti una volta al giorno.
• Prestare particolare attenzione alla natura dei
materiali perchè non è sempre possibile ottenere
una presa sicura mediante l’attrezzatura.
• Temperatura di utilizzo: da –15° a +40°C.
• La pressione di esercizio prescritta (vedi tabella a
pag. 13) non può essere superata; in caso contrario
è possibile la rottura di determinate componenti
dell’attrezzatura.
1.6 - DESCRIZIONE ATTREZZATURA
L’attrezzatura della serie SHE è destinata alla raccolta e
movimentazione di materiali sfusi come: rottame ferroso o
metallico, trucioli, detriti, scarti di lavorazione in generale,
vetro, macerie, rifiuti, ecc..
La serie SHE viene prodotta in 4 modelli differenti ed
ognuno di essi può essere dotato, anche dopo la vendita,
di 2 tipi di attacchi:
• tipo E = rotatore idraulico a ralla portata 10 ton.
• tipo K = attacco femmina con rotazione idraulica a
360° continua incassata.
Ognuno di questi modelli è equipaggiato con:
• pala tipo 0 = pala chiusa (standard).
• pala tipo 3 = pala larga con bordi paralleli.
• It is prohibited to use the equipment for purposes
different from those previously described, such as to
tear or tow any object, as the equipment, interface
and any rotor, are designed only to vertically support
loads.
• It is absolutely prohibited to lift and take hold of
persons or animals.
• It is absolutely prohibited to leave the machine with
suspended loads.
• It is absolutely forbidden to pass within range of the
machine and equipment in which they operate.
Do not use equipment before providing for the fencing
of the working area to prevent access of people and
animals. Whenever it is not possible to fence the area
of movement, it is the responsibility of the operator to
ascertain that there are no people or animals within
a radius of 20 meters.
1.5 - LIMITATIONS OF USE
• Avoid the use of the equipment at an ambient in
contact with sea water or brackish water and in
conditions of particularly bad weather.
• When handling hot material or fine-grained bulk
material, it is good practice to proceed with greasing
components once a day.
• Pay particular attention to the nature of material
because it is not always possible to obtain a secure
grip by meanss of the equipment.
• Usage temperature range: -15° to +40°C.
• The prescribed working pressure (see the Table on
Page. 13) can not be exceeded; otherwise, certain
components of the equipment can break.
1.6 - DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT
The equipment series SHE is intended for the collection
and handling of bulk materials such as: or ferrous or
metal scrap, shavings, debris, discarded work materials
in general, glass, rubble, refuse, etc.
The series SHE is produced in 4 different models and
each of these can be equipped, even after sales, with 2
types of connections:
• Type E = Hydraulic swivel ring rotator 10t .
• Type K: female connection with 360° hydraulic
continuous connection, recesse.
Each of these models is equipped with:
• Blade type 0 = closed (standard).
• Blade type 3 = Wide blade with parallel sides.

Ogni pala è indipendentemente movimentata da cilindri
oleodinamici a doppio effetto.
NOTA
Nel caso sia presente il rotatore idraulico, consultare
il relativo manuale per quanto riguarda montaggio,
portata, pressione di esercizio e manutenzione.
Tale attrezzatura è disponibile in differenti modelli, a
seconda del numero di pale, del tipo di attacco e del tipo
di pale, come esemplificato nella tabella seguente:
1.6.a - MODIFICHE AL’ATTREZZATURA
Se l’attrezzatura deve essere adibita in impieghi non
convenzionali e per effettuare tali lavori deve subire delle
modifiche è necessario rivolgersi alla rete di vendita.
IMPORTANTE
E’ vietato apportare modifiche all’attrezzatura
senza la preventiva autorizzazione del
costruttore, da ottenersi rivolgendosi alla rete
di vendita.
1.7 - CONSEGNA DELL’ATTREZZATURA
L’attrezzatura viene collaudata e controllata dal costruttore.
Prima dell’uscita dallo stabilimento viene compilato il
“Foglio di collaudo macchina” che ne certifica la perfetta
funzionalità.
La rete di vendita è tenuta ad effettuare ulteriori controlli
prima della consegna.
Alla consegna controllare che l’attrezzatura sia completa
degli accessori richiesti e che a corredo siano presenti le
seguenti documentazioni:
A. n° 1 Manuale d’uso e manutenzione
B. n° 1 Dichiarazione CE di conformità
C. n° 1 Foglio di collaudo macchina
D. n° 1 Coupon “Messa in servizio”/Attestato di

1.6.a - MODIFICATIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT
If the equipment must be used in unconventional applications
and to carry out such work requires modifications, it is
necessary to contact an autthorised sales outlet.
IMPORTANT
It is prohibited to make modifications to the
equipment without prior authorisation by the
manufacturer, to be obtained by contacting an
authorised sales outlet.
1.7 - DELIVERY OF THE EQUIPMENT
The equipment is tested and controlled by the manufacturer.
Before exiting the plant a “Machine Inspection Sheet” is
completed that certifies its perfect functionality.
The authorised sales outlet is required to carry out further
checks before delivery.
Upon delivery, check that the equipment is complete with
required accessories and that the following supporting
documents are included:
A. No. 1 Use and Maintenance Manual
B. No. 1 Declaration of Conformity CE
C. No. 1 Machine Inspection Sheet
D. No. 1 Coupon “Placed in service”/Attestation of
release of the Use and Maintenance Manual and
Declaration of Conformity CE
E. No. 1 Installation Sheet
F. No. 1 Overhal and Repair Schedule
IMPORTANT
In case additional equipment or setting up is
inckuded, the relative use and mauntenance manual
must also be included.
IMPORTANT
It is opportune to conserve the A-B-C-D-E-F
documents carefully so that they can follow the
equipment in its life.
Each blade is independently operated by double-acting
hydraulic cylinders.
NOTE
In cases where the hydraulic rotator is present,
consult the the related manual as regards mounting
capacity, pressure and maintenance.
Such equipment is available in different models, depending
on the number of blades, the type of attachment and the
type of blade, as exemplified in the following table:

2 - NORME DI SICUREZZA
NOTA
Di seguito sono elencate alcune norme di sicurezza da
seguire che integrano e non sostituiscono le normative
vigenti.
2.1 - NORME DI SICUREZZA GENERALI
• L’utilizzo dell’attrezzatura deve avvenire sempre in
luoghi illuminati e in buone condizioni di visibilità.
• Prima di ogni utilizzo dell’attrezzatura, verificare
visivamente che non vi siano anomalie su di essa
(rotture, perni sfilati, perdite di olio, etc. ).
• Non installare componenti o particolari sull’attrezzatura
se non quelli forniti o indicati dal costruttore.
• Mantenere l’attrezzatura in piena efficienza,
condizione necessaria per limitare al minimo
qualsiasi tipo di rischio.
• Le targhette di segnalazione presenti sull’attrezzatura
devono essere mantenute in buone condizioni e
sostituite se danneggiate.
• Osservare attentamente e seguire tutte le segnalazioni
di sicurezza presenti sull’attrezzatura.
• Per l’attrezzatura sono valide tutte le norme di
sicurezza relative alla macchina sulla quale la stessa
viene installata.
• Qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione sull’attrezzatura
dovrà essere effettuato con la macchina a motore
spento ed in posizione stabile.
• La sicurezza dell’attrezzatura è legata all’efficienza
dei sistemi di sicurezza della macchina su cui essa
è montata.
• La macchina deve essere dotata di segnalatori
visivi e acustici per avvertire le persone presenti
dell’operatività della macchina e dell’attrezzatura.
• Se l’attrezzatura manifesta qualche avaria o rottura
e ci sono ragioni per ritenerla non sicura, fermarsi,
appoggiarla a terra ed avvisare il responsabile della
manutenzione.
• Quando sull’attrezzatura sono presenti una valvola
di massima pressione e/o di blocco non ritorno,
attendere che l’olio della macchina sulla quale
l’attrezzatura è installata raggiunga la temperatura
di esercizio. In caso contrario le valvole potrebbero
non funzionare correttamente.
• L’attrezzatura dovrà essere utilizzata esclusivamente
da personale addetto all’utilizzo della macchina su
cui essa è montata.
• Usare sempre abbigliamento antinfortunistico
secondo le norme vigenti.
• L’operatore è tenuto ad adottare qualsiasi
provvedimento ritenga opportuno per rendere più
sicure le fasi di lavoro.
• L’operatore che utilizzerà l’attrezzatura dovrà
conoscere la capacità di sollevamento ed i limiti
d’uso della stessa; dovrà inoltre conoscere le norme
di sicurezza relative al sollevamento dei carichi ed
osservarle scrupolosamente.
2 - SAFETY REGULATIONS
NOTE
Following are some safety rules to be follow that complement
but do not replace the existing nominatives in force.
2.1 - GENERAL SAFETY RULES
• The use of the equipment must always be in well
lighted places and with good visibility
• Before each use of the equipment, visually verify that
there are no anomalies on it (breaks, loosened pins,
oil leaks, etc.).
• Do not install components or details on the
equipment except those provided or indicated bythe
manufacturer.
• Maintain the equipment fully efficient, a condition
necessary to minimize any type of risk.
• The warning plates found on the equipment must
be maintained in good condition and replaced if
damaged.
• Observe carefully and follow all the safety indications
present on the equipment.
• For the equipment all the rules of safety standards
are valid for the machine on which the same are
installed.
• Any maintenance on the equipment should be done
with the motor of the machine off and the machine
in a stable position.
• The safety of the equipment is tied to the efficiency
of the safety systems of the machine on which it is
mounted.
• The machine must be equipped with visual and
audible warnings to advise those present of machine
and equipment operations.
• If the equipment shows any sign of damage or
breakage and there are reasons to believe it unsafe,
stop, rest the grappler on the ground and notify the
person responsible for maintenance.
• When a valve of maximum pressure and/or a no-
return block are present on the equipment, wait until
the oil of the machinery on which the equipment is
installed reaches working temperature. Otherwise,
the valves could fail to function properly.
• The equipment must be used exclusively by
personnel qualified in using the machine on which
it is mounted.
• Always use protective clothing in accordance with
currently in force normatives.
• The operator is required to take any action deemed
appropriate to make the work phases safe
• The operator who uses the equipment must know
the lifting capacity and limits of use thereof; he must
also know the normatives of safety relating to lifting
of loads and scrupulously observe them.

• Non inalare i vapori d’olio.
• Gli oli sono portatori di inquinamento idrico, NON
DEVONO essere dispersi nell’ambiente ma devono
essere raccolti e trasportati sempre in contenitori
conformi alle disposizioni di legge presso un centro
di raccolta.
• Durante le operazioni di manutenzione dell’attrezzatura
indossare adeguati mezzi di protezione individuale
(guanti, occhiali, ecc..) per evitare il contatto dell’olio
con la pelle.
PERICOLO
La penetrazione nella pelle di olio idraulico
uscito sotto pressione dall’impianto idraulico
dell’attrezzaturaèpericolosa.Incasoditalilesioni
rivolgersi immediatamente ad un medico.
PERICOLO
Piccoli getti di olio ad alta pressione possono
penetrare la pelle. Individuare eventuali perdite
servendosi di un cartoncino.

2.2 - SAFETY NORMS REGARDING
MATERIAL OF THE OPERATION
Hydraulic Oil
• Avoid contact with skin.
• Do not inhale oil fumes.
• Oils are carriers of hydric pollution; THEY MUST NOT
be dispersed into the environment but should always
be collected and transported in containers complying
with the provisions of law to a collection centre.
• During operations of maintenance of equipment
wear appropriate personal protection gear (gloves,
goggles, etc.) to prevent contact of oil with skin.
DANGER
The penetration into the skin by hydraulic oil
issuing under pressure from the hydraulic
system is dangerous. In case of such lesions,
seek prompt medical attention.
DANGER
Small jets of oil at high pressure can penetrate
the skin. Identify any such leaks using a
cardboard box.

Nella progettazione dell’attrezzatura è stata tenuta in
particolare considerazione sia la sicurezza ed incolumità
dell’operatore, sia la prevenzione di eventuali danni
all’attrezzatura.
Alcune delle sicurezze applicate all’attrezzatura sono le
seguenti:
3.2.a - DISPOSITIVO DI SICUREZZA “ICVS” (opzionale)
Il sistema ICVS (Integrated check vave system) consiste
in una valvola di blocco integrata all’interno del collettore
di distribuzione per l’alimentazione dei martinetti idraulici
e che opera in caso di rottura di un tubo flessibile evitando
l’apertura delle pale e la conseguente perdita del carico.
3.2.b - DISPOSITIVO DI SICUREZZA “ACG” (opzionale)
Il sistema ACG (Active control grip) è un apparato di
accumulazione di pressione d’olio che viene abbinato al
sistema ICVS che permette, in caso di carico di materiale
scivoloso o irregolare nella forma, la continua chiusura
delle pale evitando la conseguente perdita del carico.

3.1 - DESCRIPTION OF PLATE
3.2 - SAFETY EQUIPMENT
In the design of the equipment, security and safety were
given special consideration, both for the protection and
safety of the operator and the prevention of damage to
the equipment.
Some of safety equipment applied to the equipment are
the following:
3.2.a - SAFETY DEVICE “ICVS” (optional)
ICVS system (Integrated check vave system) consists of a
blocking valve integrated next to the distribution manifold
for the feeding of hydraulic jacks that operates in case of
a broken flexible tube, thus avoiding the opening of the
blades and the resulting loss of the load.
3.2.b - SAFETY DEVICE “ACG” (optional)
The ACG system (Active Control Grip) is an apparatus for
accumulation of oil pressure which is combined with the ICVS
system that permits (in case of loads of material, slippery
or irregular in shape), the sustained closure of the blades
avoiding the eventual loss of a load.

5 - TRASPORTO E SOLLEVAMENTO
5.1 - TRASPORTO ATTREZZATURA
L’attrezzatura, data la sua instabilità, deve essere
collocata e fissata su di un pallet in legno mediante
reggette o funi e protetta da un rivestimento plastico.
(Fig.1)
La spedizione dell’attrezzatura viene eseguita scegliendo
fra le soluzioni:
1. Trasporto su ruote (camion)
2. Trasporto aereo
3. Trasporto marittimo
4. Trasporto ferroviario
IMPORTANTE
É assolutamente vietato posizionare sopra
l’attrezzatura casse o materiali vari.

5 - TRANSPORTATION AND LIFTING
5.1 - TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT
The equipment, given its instability, must be placed
and fixed on a wooden pallet by strapping or ropes
and protected by a plastic covering. (Fig.1)
Shipment of equipment is done by choosing among the
solutions:
1. Transport on wheels (trucks)
2. Transport by air
3. Maritime transport
4. Rail transport
IMPORTANT
It is absolutely prohibited to place boxes or
various materials on top of equipment

5.2- SOLLEVAMENTOECARICOATTREZZATURA
ATTENZIONE
• Le operazioni di sollevamento e
movimentazione devono essere eseguite da
personale specializzato ed autorizzato all’uso
delle attrezzature idonee.
• Per il sollevamento utilizzare un mezzo
di sollevamento o carrello elevatore di
portata adeguata rispetto alla massa
dell’attrezzatura.
• Verificarechelaportata delle funi siaadeguata
al peso dell’attrezzatura.
• Le attrezzature di lavoro devono essere in
buono stato di conservazione soprattutto per
quanto riguarda l’usura, l’invecchiamento e
la fatica.
• NON sostare nel raggio d’azione del mezzo di
sollevamento e sotto l’attrezzatura sollevata.
• Durante tutte le operazioni di caricamento
dell’attrezzatura il veicolo deve rimanere
frenato e a motore spento.
NOTA
I mezzi rappresentati nelle figure di questo
capitolo, ad esempio il dispositivo di sollevamento
dell’attrezzatura sono puramente indicativi ed
utilizzati solo per migliorare la comprensione.
Per sollevare l’attrezzatura agire come segue:
Con carrello elevatore
Infiliando le forche negli appositi incastri (Fig. 2).
Con altri sistemi di sollevamento
Mediante l’aggancio al perno montato nell’attacco superiore
dell’attrezzatura qualora essa ne fosse provvista (Fig 3).
• tipo K (con l’aggiunta di un kit) = il perno viene
fornito dal costruttore.
• tipo E = il perno viene fornito dal costruttore.
Caricare l’attrezzatura sul mezzo di trasporto fissandola con
mezzi di legatura adeguati (es. : staffaggi, funi, reggette).
IMPORTANTE
E’ responsabilità dell’autotrasportatore, prima e
durante il trasporto, di verificare lo stato dei mezzi di
legatura (staffaggi, funi, reggette e pallet).

Load the equipment on the transport medium securing it with

IMPORTANT
It is the responsibility of the haulier, before and during
transport, verifying the status of the ties (clamps,
cables, strapping and pallet).
5.2 - LIFTING AND LOADING EQUIPMENT
ATTENTION
• The operations of lifting and handling must
be performed by specialised personnel
and authorized in the use of appropriate
equipment.
• For lifting, use a lifting device or forklift of
a capacity appropriate to the mass of the
equipment.
• Verifify that the strength of the cables is
adequate for the weight of the equipment.
• Work equipment must be in good repair,
especially as regards wear, aging and fatigue.
• DONOTstand in range oftheliftingequipment
or under raised equipment.
• Duringallloadingoperationsoftheequipment,
the vehicle must remain with brakes on and
the engine off.
NOTE
The medium represented in the figure of this chapter,
is given as an example of a lifting device for the
equipment and is purely indicative and used only
to improve understanding.
To lift the equipment proceed as follows:
With Forklift
Insert the forks in the appropriate joints (Fig. 2).
Other lifting systems
By coupling with the pin mounted in the upper attachment
of the equipment, if so provided (Fig 3).
• type K (with the addition of a kit) = the pin is provided
by the manufacturer.
• type E = the pin is provided by the manufacturer.

6 - RICEVIMENTO E STOCCAGGIO
ATTREZZATURA
6.1 - RICEVIMENTO ATTREZZATURA
All’atto dell’imballaggio tutto il materiale tecnico
riguardante l’attrezzatura è accuratamente controllato allo
scopo di evitare la spedizione di materiale danneggiato.
All’atto del disimballo del materiale verificare che
questi sia in perfetto stato di mantenimento e non sia
danneggiato: in questo caso avvisare immediatamente
il fabbricante.
6.2 - STOCCAGGIO ATTREZZATURA
L’attrezzatura deve essere stoccata posizionandola
sulle apposite scaffalature proteggendola dagli agenti
atmosferici ed è assolutamente vietato posizionare sopra
di essa altre attrezzature o materiali vari.
7 - INSTALLAZIONE ATTREZZATURA
IMPORTANTE
Le operazioni di installazione dell’attrezzatura
dovranno essere eseguite da personale
specializzato.
Allafine dell’installazioneil tecnico responsabile
dovràcompilarela“SCHEDA DI INSTALLAZIONE”
in tutte le parti richieste.
NOTA
Utilizzare solo le interfacce fornite a richiesta dalla
GUSELLA BAKKER PROD. Qualora
l’interfaccia fosse già presente sulla
macchina, consultare l’ufficiotecnicodella
GUSELLA BAKKER PROD. che verificherà la
compatibilitàdimontaggiodell’intefaccia
allattrezzatura. L’utilizzo di interfacce non
originali o non approvate dalla
GUSELLA BAKKER PROD. comporta la
decadenza immediata della garanzia.
7.1 - DISIMBALLO
Per togliere l’attrezzatura dall’imballo comportarsi come
segue:
1. Rimuovere il rivestimento in plastica.
2. Tagliare le regge che bloccano l’attrezzatura.
3. Sollevare l’attrezzatura mediante l’aggancio al perno
montato nell’attacco superiore come indicato nella
figura.
4. Poggiare l’attrezzatura al suolo assicurandosi che
sia in posizione stabile utilizzando cunei o supporti.
6 - RECEIPT AND STORAGE OF
EQUIPMENT
6.1 - RECEPTION OF EQUIPMENT
At the time of packing, all the technical material concerning
the equipment is carefully controlled in order to prevent
the shipment of damaged material.
Upon unpacking the material, verify that they are in a
perfect state of maintenance and are not damaged: if
this is not the case, immediately notify the manufacturer.
6.2 - STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT
The equipment must be stored positioning it on apposite
shelves protected from weathering and it is absolutely
prohibited to place other equipment or materials on top
of the equipment.
7 - INSTALLING EQUIPMENT
IMPORTANT
The operations of installation of the equipment
must be performed by specialised personnel.
On completing installation, the technician in
chargemust fill out the“INSTALLATION SHEET”
in all the required parts.
NOTE
Use only the interfaces provided on request by
GUSELLA BAKKER PROD.
If the interface is already present on the machine
contact the technical officeo GUSELLA BAKKER
PROD. that will verify the compatibility of the
interface mounting for the equipment.
The use of interfaces that are not original or not
approved by GUSELLA BAKKER PROD.
involves the immediate lapse of the warranty.
7.1 - UNPACKING
To remove the equipment from the packing proceed
as follows:
1. Remove the plastic covering.
2. Cut the straps that secure the equipment.
3. Raise the equipment by meanss of the coupling to
the pin mounted in the upper attachment as shown
in the figure.
4. Place the equipment on the ground making sure that it is
in a stable position using wedges or a supporting base.

7.2 - VERIFICHE PRELIMINARI
A) Verificare che l’impianto idraulico della macchina sia
predisposto e adeguato per l’alimentazione dell’ attrezzatura;
qualora esso non lo sia, sarà necessaria la modifica
dell’impianto idraulico al fine di adattarla alle nuove esigenze.
B) Verificare che i comandi della macchina sulla quale è
installata l’attrezzatura siano a 3 posizioni e il ritorno della leva
di comando nella posizione “0” avvenga automaticamente.
Per attrezzature non dotate di rotatore idraulico la macchina
dovrà essere equipaggiata di 1 comando a 3 posizioni:
Attrezzatura apre 0 chiude
Per attrezzature dotate di rotatore idraulico la macchina
dovrà essere equipaggiata di 2 comandi a 3 posizioni:

C)Verificare che la pressione di esercizio della macchina non
superi la pressione massima di esercizio dell’attrezzatura.
Se la pressione di esercizio della macchina fosse diversa
dalla quella ideale per l’attrezzatura, regolare la pressione
dell’impianto idraulico destinato all’attrezzatura presente sulla
macchina; nel caso in cui non sia possibile la regolazione
della pressione installare una valvola limitatrice.
IMPORTANTE
Le modifiche dovranno essere eseguite
esclusivamente dapersonale autorizzato dalla casa
costruttrice della macchina o dell’attrezzatura.
AVVERTENZA:
La pressione diesercizio prescritta (vedere tabellaa
pag. 13 ) non può essere superata; in caso contrario
è possibile la rottura di determinate componenti
dell’attrezzatura.
7.3 - MONTAGGIO ATTREZZATURA
IMPORTANTE
Verificare chel’attrezzatura sia appoggiata alsuolo
e che sia in posizione stabile.
7.3.a - SEQUENZA DI MONTAGGIO
1. Portare il braccio della macchina in corrispondenza
dell’attacco dell’attrezzatura. (Fig.4)

7.2 - PRELIMINARY VERIFICATIONS
A)Verify that the hydraulic system of the machine is prepared
and adequate for alimentation of the equipment, if it is not,
it will be necessary to modify the hydraulic system so as to
be adapted to the new exigencies.
B) Verify that the commands of the machine on which the
equipment are installed are of 3 positions and the return of
the command lever in the position “0” occurs automatically.
For equipment not equipped with a hydraulic rotator, the
machine must be equipped with 1 command of 3 positions.
Equipment open 0 close
For equipment provided with a hydraulic rotator, the
machinemust be equipped with 2 commands of 3 positions:

C) Verify that the working pressure of the machine does not
exceed the maximum operating pressure of the equipment. If
the working pressure of the machine should be different from
the ideal one for the equipment, adjust the pressure of the
hydraulic system for the equipment on the machine; where
it is not possible to adjust, install a pressure limit valve.
IMPORTANT
The modifications must be made by authorized
personnel from the manufacturer of the machine
or the equipment.
NOTICE:
The working pressure required (see the Table on
Page 13) can not be exceeded; otherwise breakage
of certain equipment components can occur.
7.3 - MOUNTING OF EQUIPMENT
IMPORTANT
Verify that the equipment is seated on the ground
and is in stable position.
7.3.a - MOUNTING SEQUENCE
1. Position the arm of the machine in correspondence with
the attach point of the equipment. (Fig. 4)

NOTA
Il collegamento idraulico dovrà essere effettuato con
materiali idonei a sopportare la pressione massima
della macchina sulla quale l’attrezzatura è montata
ed essere conforme alle norme vigenti in tema di
sicurezza.
1. Collegare i tubi flessibili della macchina al rotatore
indraulico dell’attrezzatura come indicato nello
schema.

4. Connect the hydraulic system of the machine to the
equipment.
7.3.b - HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
IMPORTANT
Discharge the residual hydraulic pressure of the
hydraulic system of the machine.
IMPORTANT
GUSELLA - BAKKER has the right to
change the brand of the hydraulic rotator
without previous notice. Therefore in case
of discrepancies in this user manual (with
reference to the hydraulic rotator), please take
as reference the rotator user manual which is
delivered with this one.
NOTE
The hydraulic connection must be made with
suitable materials to withstand the maximum
pressure of the machine on which the equipment
is mounted and comply with existing regulations
concerning safety.
1. Connect the flexibile tubes of the machine to the
hydraulic rotator of the equipment, as shown in the
diagram.
Flexible tubes: 120 Nm
2. Align the opening of the interface of the equipmentto
that of the arm and shut off the machine. (Fig.5)
3. Insert the pin (1) and tighten the nut (2). (Fig.6)
Nut: 360 Nm

7.4 - SMONTAGGIO ATTREZZATURA
IMPORTANTE
Verificare che l’attrezzatura sia appoggiata al
suolo e che sia in posizione stabile.
Scaricare le pressioni residue dell’impianto
idraulico della macchina e dell’attrezzatura.
1. Scollegare i tubi flessibili dal rotatore idraulico.
2. Allentare e rimuovere il dado (2) e sfilare il perno
(1). (Fig.6)
3. Sollevare ed allontanare il braccio della macchina.

7.4 - DISMOUNTING EQUIPMENT
IMPORTANT
Verify that the equipment is seated on the
ground and is in stable position.
Discharge the residual pressure of the hydraulic
system of the machine and of the equipment.
1. Disconnect the flexibile tubes from the hydraulic rotator.
2. Loosen and remove the nut (2) and insert the pin
(1). (Fig. 6)
3. Lift and distance the arm of the machine.
