Warnings
● To reduce the risk of electrical shock, connect only to aproperly grounded, grounding type outlet (GFCI).
● Do not exceed the voltage shown on the transformer.
● To reduce the risk of fire or injury, keep lamp away from materials that may burn.
● Always disconnect from the power source before beginning any maintenance or work on the light.
● Inspect cord for damage before installation and/or maintenance. Replace the entire light / transformer assembly if damage is
found.
Cautions
● light gets hot! -Do not touch the lens, guard, or enclosure until light is turned off and cool.
● Turn light off and allow to coolbefore replacing the bulb.
● Use a proper power source as indicated on the transformer label.
● Keep the cord away from high temperatures orother heat sources.
● Do not lift the light or the transformer by itspower cord.
● This light assembly is not intended for use inswimming pools or hot tubs.
Operation Instructions
1. Unpack the contents of the boxand check to make sure thatall items are accounted for and in good condition.
2. Remove the light and transformer from the package and untie the power cord.
3. Attach the Low voltage wire to the transformer by pushing the plug into the transformer socket until it is firmly seated. Hand
tighten the nut from the plug to the transformer socket.
4. If desired, attach one of the colored filter lenses.
5. Place the light in the desiredposition in / or around your pond or fountain.
6. Place the transformerin a dry area. DO NOT SUBMERGE TRANSFORMER IN WATER !
7. Plug the transformer powercord into a properly grounded, grounding type receptacle (GFCI).
Replacing The Bulb
1. Use only 10 W halogen bulb.
2. Disconnect the transformer from the power source.
3. Make sure that the lamp is coolbefore proceeding.
4. To remove the lens, push in and twistoff the lamp retaining ring in a counterclockwise motion.
5. Remove the lamp retaining ring and the lens, and remove the bulb from the light socket by firmly grasping the bulb and
pulling straight out.

6. Insert a new replacement bulb into the light socket (replacement bulb is not included).
7. Replace the lens and the lamp retaining ring onto the light base. Make certain that the sealing ring is positioned correctly
between the lamp housing and the lens.
8. Twist clockwise and lock the plastic cover into position.
Troubleshooting
•If light fails to illuminate, check that your light isgetting power by testing another appliance in the same power outlet.
•Alight sensor is built into the transformer. The light is designed to turn on when it gets dark, and turn off when it gets light. To
activate the light during daylight hours, cover the sensor.
•If the light will not illuminate,follow the instructions for “Replacing The Bulb”.
