Thespecialaeratorfaucet adaptersuppliedwith your
dishwashermustbeassembledto thesinkfaucetspout
beforeyou can useyourdishwasher.Thefaucetadapter
isdesignedto fit standardfaucetspoutshavinginternal
or externalthreads.You will find the adapterand two
washersinthe“Hardwarefor Installation”packetinyour
dishwasher.
Toinstallfaucetadapter,first removethe old aeratoror
trimringonyourfaucetspout.
If faucethas externalthreads,insertthe thinnerof the
twowashersinto the faucetadapterandattachit to the
faucetspout(Fig. i).
If faucethas internal,threads,insertboth washersinto
the faucet adapter and attach it to the faucet spout
(Fig.‘2).
If thefaucetadapterthreadsdo not match your faucet

POWERSCRUB@cycleis designedto removeDRIED-
ON andBAKED-ONsoils.Thesesoilswillbe removed
from utensils that arein good condition ifyou follow
loading and operating instructions carefully.It ises-
peciallyimportantto loaditemswithheavy~DRIED-ON
-or BAKED-ONsoils suchas pots, pansand casseroles,
open end down in the lower rack facing directly toward
‘—- the lowerwash arm. In this position the items willreceive
the mostvigorous wash action for maximum soil removal.
As you would expect, severely BURNED-ON soils occa-
sionally may not be completely removed, especially if the
surface ofthe utensil isetched, pitted or otherwise in poor
condition. After washing items of this type, any remaining
-soils shouldbe removed by hand. Discoloration of utensils
=‘ by overheating dli.!ng cooking cannot be removed

afood waste disposer, run disposer until it is completely
empty before starting dishwasher. .
Tostart dishwasher, close door andmovedoor latch to
