Under certain conditions hydrogen gas may be produced in a water heater that has not been used
for two weeks or more. Hydrogen gas can be explosive under these circumstances.
If the hot water has not been used for two weeks or inore, prevent the possibili F of (lamage or iqjm'y by
turning on all hot water filucets and allowing them to run fin" several minutes. Do this before using any
electrical appliance which is connected to the hot water s_stem. This simple procedm'e will allow any
built-up hydrogen gas to escape. Since the gas is flammable, do not smoke or rise an open flame or
appliance during this process.

Wash Cycle
Tile wash cycle controls tile length of tile washing process. Tile knob can be turned in either
direction. Turning tile Cycle Selector knob after starting a cycle will stop tile washer and reset
the cycle to the new selection. Press S%M_T to begin the new cycle selection.

Extended Spin Option (onsomemodels)
Use this opdon to e×tract more water ti'om your clothes. Clothes will be drier when this
opdon is selected, and will d_a' more quickl) in )our oh-vet:

PerfecTemp (on some models)
PerfecTemp senses the incoming water temperature and adjusts the fill water to obtain a more
precise temperature range for all three wash temperatures. You may select cold, wmm or hot.
For example, in a Cold Wash selection, some wa_n water may be added to reach a
temperattH'e needed to better dissolve detergents. Often, detergents are not completely
dissolved in very cold water, especially in cooler climates.
NOTE:PerfecTempwil! not a@lst the fill on WARM WASH tmless the washer lid is closed.
Be sure to start the washer after the lid is closed.

ProperUseofDetergent
Add detergent and stm't the washer before adding
clothes so that the detergent can work effectively.
Using too little or too nluch detergent is a common
ca use of latmch y problems.
You can use less detergent if _ou, haxe soii water;
a smaller load, or a lightly soiled load.
LoadingtheWasher

items make sure VOtl set the load/water level high

after washer has started, lift the lid and submerge
