Congratulations on your purchase of the amazing GemOro BrilliantSpa
PRO! The professional grade BrilliantSpa PRO has been factory tested
for performance, as well as safety, and does an incredible job cleaning
jewelry and more in only seconds.
Please be aware that not all jewelry or items in general are suitable
to be cleaned by a steam cleaner. Always confirm if the jewelry or
other item may be cleaned with steam prior to cleaning it with the
BrilliantSpa PRO.

EASY TO USE QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
DO NOT PLUG IN YET!
1. Place the BrilliantSpa PRO on your counter near an electrical outlet.
2. Carefully unscrew the water fill cap, remove it and insert
the funnel in the hole where the fill cap was located.
3. Fill the combination water residue collection and fill cup
with regular tap water to the indicated MAX FILL line noted
on the cup, and while the tank is completely empty, slowly
pour it into the steamer’s funnel. Repeat this a second
time to fill the steamers tank to the optimal level.

4. Replace the fill cap by hand tightening. Do not over-tighten.
5. Plug it in, and then flip the rear power switch
to the “I” position to turn it on.
6. The red LED indicator shows it is heating up the
water in its tank and building up pressure. When the
green LED lights up it is ready to be used.
TO USE THE STEAMER
1. The steamer may be used as soon as it has built up
sufficient pressure to light up the green LED indicator.
2. Using the tweezers or basket, hold jewelry approximately
one inch beneath the steam nozzle.
3. Press down on the chrome steam activation
lever to release the steam.
4. It is recommended to use short, one or two second
bursts to prolong maximum steam pressure.

WHEN IT BECOMES NECESSARY
TO REFILL STEAMER TANK
• Turn the unit off by flipping the rear power switch to the “0” position.
• Unplug it from the power outlet.
•Allow sufficient cooling time of approximately 30
minutes prior to refilling the tank. As a safety feature,
the water fill cap has been designed so that it cannot
be removed until its tank has sufficiently cooled.
• While maintaining an arm’s length distance from the appliance,
slowly unscrew the water fill cap. As you are unscrewing the
water fill cap the remaining pressure will release from around it.
Press down on the steam activation lever to more quickly release
the remaining steam in its tank. Remove the water fill cap.
• Lift the appliance up by holding both sides. DO NOT LIFT
THE APPLIANCE BY THE STEAM ACTIVATION LEVER.
• Turn the appliance upside down over a sink to drain any
residual water that may be in the steamer tank. To more quickly
and fully drain the steamer tank, while holding the appliance
upside down, press down on the steam activation lever.
• Follow the instructions 1-6 on the Quick Reference
Guide above to refill the BrilliantSpa PRO.
COMPLETE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS –
STEPS 1 THROUGH 12 (WARNING: DO NOT PLUG
IN OR TURN ON UNTIL YOU REACH STEP 5)
1. Place the BrilliantSpa PRO upright on your counter.
2. With the steamer unplugged and sufficiently cool, carefully
unscrew the water fill cap and then remove it. Place the
funnel in the opening where the fill cap was located.
3. Fill the combination water residue collection and fill cup with
regular tap water to the MAX FILL LINE and slowly pour it into the
steamers funnel. Repeat this a second time so that a total of two
cups of water have been added. IF USED PREVIOUSLY, before
refilling it be sure to remove any remaining water in its tank
by turning it upside down over a sink or you may accidentally
overfill the tank. IF YOU OVERFILL THE TANK, it will not have
enough room to create pressurized steam and will sputter

hot water from its nozzle until the water level in the tank has
been reduced to a sufficient level so steam may be produced.
4. Replace the water fill cap by hand tightening. Do not over-tighten.
Over-tightening could result in damage to your water fill cap gasket
and consequently your steamer will not pressurize properly. An
additional gasket has been supplied with your unit in the event
you damage the gasket.
5. Plug in the BrilliantSpa PRO to a grounded electrical outlet
that has a power rating sufficient to operate the appliance.
Locate the rear power switch and flip it to the “I” position to
turn it on. Within approximately 3 minutes it will automatically
heat up the water in its tank creating pressurized steam.
The red LED light will indicate that the steamer is heating
up the water in its tank and building pressure.
6. When the green LED lights up that indicates that it is ready
to be used. Please note that the green LED light will
cycle on and off as the steamers thermostat automatically
heats up while maintaining constant pressure.
7. Place the jewelry in the handheld basket or while using the
tweezers to hold it, firmly yet carefully grasp the item and
hold it approximately one inch beneath the steam nozzle.
8. Press the steam activation lever to release steam. The
steamer works best when using short, one or two second
bursts of steam. Allowing a brief delay between bursts
gives the steamer time to rebuild steam pressure. To clean
an item on all sides, rotate the item under the nozzle.
Allow the jewelry time to cool before wearing.
9. Inspect the item after cleaning and if it requires additional steam
cleaning repeat step #8. For dirtier items, additional steaming time
may be required. Pre-soaking the item in hot water will help loosen
up the dirt. For faster results, it is also recommended to first use
the GemOro Sparkle Spa, or Sparkle Spa Pro personal ultrasonic
jewelry cleaner (sold separately). These ultrasonics will quickly
loosen up the dirt and pre-clean it prior to steaming.
10. Residual water will collect in the water residue cup as the steam
cools. Empty the water as needed.
11. When it is necessary to refill the BrilliantSpa PRO, first turn it off
and then unplug it from the power outlet. Allow sufficient cooling
time of approximately 30 minutes prior to refilling the tank. When

removing the water fill cap after it has cooled, always unscrew
it slowly at arm’s length while allowing the BrilliantSpa PRO to
gradually release any remaining pressure in the tank. Then lift the
BrilliantSpa PRO by its sides and turn it upside down over a sink
to drain any remaining water in its tank. Replace the water fill cap.
12. When you are finished cleaning your jewelry, unplug
the BrilliantSpa PRO from the power outlet by grasping
the end of the power cord closest to the outlet.
13. Prior to storing the BrilliantSpa PRO after use, it is recommended
to empty the water from its tank. After allowing sufficient cooling
time of approximately 30 minutes, remove the water fill cap by
slowly unscrewing it while allowing the tank to gradually release
any remaining pressure. Then lift the BrilliantSpa PRO by its sides
and pour out the remaining water. Replace the water fill cap.
PRECAUTIONS & WARNINGS
1. The BrilliantSpa PRO is specifically designed for cleaning
jewelry. Although there are many other cleaning applications
for the BrilliantSpa PRO (such as for cleaning dentures, mouth
guards, pacifiers, eye glasses, hand tools, small parts, etc.),
caution and common sense should be used at all times as the
BrilliantSpa PRO could damage the item and/or the operator.
2. Use caution: the steam cleaner releases very hot steam under high
pressure. While in use, never touch the steam nozzle, water
fill cap or the area surrounding it, as you may get burnt.
3. Be certain that the water fill cap with its built-in safety
release valve is screwed on by hand prior to use. Do not
over-tighten. Never operate the BrilliantSpa PRO steam
cleaner without the water fill cap properly installed.
4. The BrilliantSpa PRO steam cleaner may only be used
with regular tap water. Never add any type of chemicals or
cleaning agents to the water in the tank prior to steaming.
5. The BrilliantSpa PRO is designed to operate with a
specified level of water in its tank. Do not overfill the
steamer tank. To do so will produce a potentially
hazardous sputtering of hot water and wet steam.
6. Never plug in and attempt to operate the BrilliantSpa PRO
without water in its tank. If the BrilliantSpa PRO runs out of
steam during operation, turn it off and unplug it. Then allow

approximately 30 minutes for it to cool prior to refilling the
tank. When removing the water fill cap after the BrilliantSpa
PRO has cooled, always unscrew it slowly while maintaining
an arm’s length distance from it, allowing the steamer tank
to very gradually release its pressure until fully released.
7. Never attempt to unscrew the water fill cap and refill the
BrilliantSpa PRO steamer tank while it is still hot and under
pressure. There is a built-in safety feature that prevents the
water fill cap from being removed while the steamer is hot.
8. Lift or move the BrilliantSpa PRO by grasping it by its sides.
Do not lift the appliance by the steam activation lever.
9. Always turn off and unplug the BrilliantSpa PRO when not in use.
10. DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER.
11. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
12. WARNING: Danger of scalding!
WARNING: to reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the
appliance’s cover. No user serviceable parts are inside. Only authorized
service personnel should perform possible repairs of this appliance!
CAUTION
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children do not recognize the dangers that may occur
when operating electrical appliances; therefore,
keep children away from such appliances.
• This appliance is intended to be used in a jewelry store
or for household jewelry cleaning applications.

Prior to using the BrilliantsSpa PRO, always confirm if the item may
be cleaned with a steam cleaner. While some general guidelines are
noted below for what may or may not be cleaned with a steam cleaner,
the guidelines are not represented as being complete and are not
meant to be used as your final determination as to whether or not the
jewelry or other item is suitable for being cleaned by the BrilliantSpa

PRO. Before cleaning any piece of jewelry or gemstone, you
should consult with a professional to correctly identify the item
you desire to clean and confirm that it is suitable to be cleaned
with a steam cleaner. GemOro disclaims, to the maximum
extent permissible, (a) any responsibility for damage to jewelry
or any other item, and (b) any responsibility for direct, special,
incidental or consequential damages under any legal theory.

Always inspect the setting for loose stones prior to cleaning. Stones
that are insecurely set may fall out when cleaned by a steam cleaner.
Prior to cleaning, carefully touch the stone with a small probe (like
a toothpick); the stone should not shift or wiggle. If a stone falls
out as a result of being cleaned with a steam cleaner, please be
aware that the stone would have eventually fallen out anyway.
Most consider it better to have a stone fall out in a reasonably
controlled environment as opposed to at random while wearing it.
The following types of jewelry should only be cleaned by a
knowledgeable professional:
• Antique jewelry
• Enamel jewelry
• Paste jewelry (which is common with costume jewelry)
• Costume jewelry
• Jewelry containing stones that have been set with glue
